My laptop has been telling me that I have a low disk space.
Hi, I had my laptop for quite awhile and I usually download a lot of things. But lately, my pc has been telling me that I have said low space. I clicked clicked on the info box, and he takes me on the cleaning disc and tells me to delete files, I don't need. The box were, he shows me the files... contains all files to be deleted. The only "file I can 'delete' is my trash! The necessary dick cleaning is the HP TOOLS and it is said (4.32 MB of free space of 3.95 GB) and it has a glowing red bar. Im very confused on whats happening and im praying this is not not a virus!
Original title: AGH! No space?
The HP_TOOLS partition is where HP puts its system Diagnostics and other programs such as QuickWeb and QuickLook if they are installed on your system. You should not put your files there.
On my HP laptop, the only things in there are a folder named Hewlett-Packard and a few files from HP.

My XP computer keeps saying that I have a low disk space when I know that I have not

What is the processor and RAM how much your computer have? Make a right-click on the icon my computer on your desktop and select properties for this information.
Try Ctrl + Alt + Delete, select Task Manager, and then click the performance tab. Under Commit Charge, which is the Total, limit, and the pic?
I'd be interested to see a report of Disk Defragmenter. Open Disk Defragmenter and click analysis. Select view report, and then click Save as and save. Now find VolumeC.txt in your My Documents folder. Open the file, and place the cursor anywhere in the file, select Edition, select all to select all the text and copy and paste into the body of your message. To do this, before you run Disk Defragmenter because it is more informative.
Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning disk to emptying your trash, delete temporary Internet files and other selected options. I recommend also you click Other Options, System Restore and delete all but the last system restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.
Using the system restore option is most appropriate when your system is slow and you need to increase the free disk space on your C partition. If you have errors that could be solved by using the system restore to your system settings back to before the error occurred initially do not use this option.
If more than one person uses the computer and they have their own user log you need to run Disk Cleanup in each user profile that you want to delete all the unwanted files.
A better program of disk cleanup is cCleaner. Delete System Restore points may be important if you have little free disk space. The ability to delete them is one of the tools options. You can selectively remove those created in less important moments.
cCleaner comes with a registry tool. Do not use this tool as any registry cleaner could lead to the creation of very difficult to resolve system errors.

When I connect to Windows 7 after my laptop has been asleep, the Welcome screen will block for always (10 + minutes). It does not every time, but maybe once all 5 or 6 times and it's happened lately. I can just shut the computer off and the newspaper with no problem after starting it upward, but I'm afraid, there may come a time where it does not work.
I had this problem since I got my computer 2 months ago so I don't think it's related to what I have installed. Has anyone else encountered this problem and has found a way to fix it? Is this a common bug in all of Windows 7?

My Satellite laptop has been freezing randomly
Hello
I've seen a lot of posts on the subject, but no solution. So my laptop has been freezing at random the day I bought it. Today it happens much more often, this becomes ridiculously boring.
Is there a way to fix this?
> Once again, there was a notification that emerged after one of those who freeze soemthing mean in the sense of "there was a problem with amd (graphics card)?"but it was resovled."" It's all updated however.
This notification comes from the graphics card driver. It might be possible that there is a problem with the graphics driver or with the graphics chip.
Try to install the latest driver for Toshiba page. In case this doesn't help, recommend you to contact the service agents to check the hardware partsBut the previous user's right, its really hard to talk about issues that put t always appear or are difficult to reproduce

Original title: my serial number
The serial number on the bottom of my laptop has been rubbed off. I can find it somewhere in the system?
Hello
If the operating system is preinstalled, as it appears as the product key sticker was on the bottom of the laptop, NO, you will not find a product key that you can use for any purpose useful in your system.
The only product key you would find in your system is the manufacturer factory Installation product key that is used for multiple facilities only during the original production.
If you want to reinstall the operating system, contact the manufacturer and ask him either send you recovery disks to reinstall the operating system, what they should do for a small cost and also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your laptop to do the same thing, which is to reinstall the operating system.
None of these methods relocation normally requires that you insert a product key when reinstalling.
See you soon.
p.s., serial number (SN: xxxxx) is to do with the identification number to the manufacturer if you ever contact them so that they can search for details of your laptop and there's nothing to do with the product key.

Operating system on my laptop has been tampered
Laptop has been restarting randomly, I had checked it by a technician at Staples and I was told there is no hardware problems and run the system recovery disk. I ran the system recovery disk and got the message that it could not be recovered because the operating system (Vista 32 bit) has been altered. I hope that a full installation of a new operating system will solve the problem because it's the same thing to my XP desktop.
Hello
Thanks for the above information.
1. what type of recovery you try using the recovery discs?
I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.
Method 1: Try to boot in safe mode and check if the same problem occurs.Method 2: If the problem does not exist in Mode without failure, then try to put your computer in a clean boot state.
By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Retrieve the product key Windows 7 Pro when the laptop has been restored to Windows Vista
My laptop fujitsu has been sent for repair; the technician has restored the settings to factory default which wiped out the Professional Windows 7 operating system. My laptop has been improved by Windows Vista Edition Fujitsu Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional during a previous repair. How one don't get the product key for Windows 7 Professional in this case? Should I inform Microsoft of my laptop series No. to recover the product key of Windows 7 Professional? If so, then how do then? Thank you very much for your quick response.
If the machine has been 'improved' during a repair - then they must have attached the relevant sticker of COA or PoL card to the machine.
If they don't, and you do not specifically for the upgrade, then it has never been a valid upgrade.
