  I just got a Photosmart Plus B210a printer. I was able to install it using the wireless for my Dell Dimension 3000 3 GHz computer with Windows XP 32-bit SP3. He will answer analysis, but it will NOT print, it doesn't matter what I do. I have a Netgear wireless router. I tried the Dell connected directly to the router using a USB of Netgear WG111v3 USB adapter and cable. No impression whatever the configuration.

  On the other hand, I was able to make the printer work with an Athlon II X 4 630 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit AMD machine. Everything works independently to know if the machine is connected directly to the router Netgear or using the above USB adapter.

  How can I make work B210a with my Dell with Windows XP? Is this a problem XP because Windows 7 has worked perfectly, but Windows XP would only scan.

  Subsequently, I deleted all initially loaded B201a software. At the printer detects the network, then reloaded the software from the CD. The printer then worked fine. What a relief. Perhaps the problem I had previously was linked to my trying to use the USB port when the printer originally did not work.

  Replace all cartridges per HP cartridges to see if it solves your problem. If so, suspect that the reloaded cartridges were damaged by Costco.

  HP technical support (the two guys) were not any help what so ever in eliminating the problem described above. The last person in tech support took me through a manual installation. I got to hold one of its last steps linked to a «Universal USB port» After that he told me that he was not able to help me and asked me to call back in 30 minutes.

  After 5 hours trying to install a printer, I returned to the manual installation, where he showed the 'Universal USB port' and I noticed a USB with the HP Photosmart B209. I checked the box and the problem has been resolved.

  So, I don't who to blame or credit, but the work of the printer and I'm tired of working on a printer for the day.

  For 18 months he has been fine, but now the HP Solution Center disappeared.

  I have Mac 10.6.8.   Printer (HP Photosmart 7760) has stopped working.  Reinstalled the drivers updated. Went through the steps including unplugging cables USB and all the other steps recommended by HP. When I press print, the document goes to the queue and and the error message is displayed. When I press the resume to print, nothing happens.

  We will restore the print system:

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
  -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  I would say runnig the print and Scan doctor. If the driver needs to be reinstalled again the PSDR should solve this problem.

  My HP B210 won't do a direct copy. I can scan to a file and print it from there, but I can't make a black or a color copy. I tried pressing "copy" and then pressing "settings" to restore the default settings, but that didn't help.

  What happens when you try to perform a direct copy? The scan function uses the same hardware components such as copy, so theoretically speaking, if you can scan, you should be able to copy. Maybe the problem is with the ink system, please try to print a quality report and let me know what happens.

• Photosmart 7520: Printer will not scan in color

  My printer has until recently been able to produce an analysis of color using the supplied document and the printer control panel. Now, he refuses to do so even if I did not consciously change all parameters. I can get a scan color by placing a single document in the printer and then goes via system preferences/printers and scanners and selecting the scanner, and then set the print area and choose the resolution, but it is a rather laborious and tedious route.

  Of the applications folder, open the Hewlett-Packard HP Scan application bin folder, then empty the trash.

  Then download and install the HP Easy Scan from the Mac App Store app and try to scan the image of the front of the printer:

  Is it updated?  Assuming that it is connected wireless network and that Web Services are enabled on the front of the printer: configuration > Preferences > product update.
