  I recommend you perform the clean boot.

  The address book is not affected.
  Comcast is my recollection of a pop email provider. If your via IMAP it's useless to you, so to speak.
  If you right-click on the Comcast account in the folders pane and select settings. Under Server setting for the change of account, do not check for mail setting. Click Advanced settings and change the tick this off server as well. It stop at Thunderbird makes you mad with impossible to sign messages on behalf of the deceased.
  Go to outgoing (SMTP) server and remove the Server SMTP of Comcast. This will avoid you accidentally answering the old post office and get an error as the Comcast account is no longer.

  Just got this laptop to replace my old laptop and I have a few questions.

  1 Wifi connectivity seems very very poor, constantly it connects, disconnects and fails to connect at least your next right sat the router. It shows full signal but is unable to connect when more 10 ft with 1 wall!
  I don't have the same problem with other wifi devices & laptops that I can use anywhere in my house. I've updated the bios & wifi drivers but still the same.

  I use a draytek 2820 router that is running the latest firmware.

  2. when typing the keyboard vibrates and makes a rattly noise really iritaing.

  So are these flaws, or how it is? I'll call the assistance the morning but if I can not get at least the better wifi work it's going right back to the supplier!

  What keyboard? I put t knowledge what noise it can be, but don't you think that keyboard is not in place or what?

  You can change the ppi to change the size of the image.

  The dimensions in pixels, ppi and image size are linked together, when you change one, one of the other two must change.

  Here's the formula.

  Inches X ppi = pixels

  The ppi is stored in the metadata so if the file header is corrupt or you use save for web, the ppi could be missing. In this case Photoshop guess of 72 dpi, which would change the size of the image.

  As long as the pixel dimensions has not changed, then there is nothing to fear. Pixel dimensions is the actual data. If the size of the image is incorrect, anyone with most image editing software can change the size of the image or the ppi to fix. Make sure that the pixel dimensions do not change. In Photoshop just uncheck the box resampling.

• Connection WiFi slow and uneven

  My current WiFi set up includes an AT@T U-Verse, with disabled WiFi router, which is connected by a cable ethernet to an older Apple Airport Extreme, it seems AC 802.11. Both are located side by side in a Home Office. I also have an Airport Express, located in another room to boost the signal in other parts of my house and to my outdoor patio. This configuration was working fine until recently when the AT & T router has stopped working. He was replaced a new U-Verse router.   1. open Safari

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  It is also very strange the fact that, even if the signal is good, sometimes excellent, the connection is very slow and unstable (it disconnects when I try to browse the Internet).

  -Disconnect the firewall;

  If you can connect to public networks correctly, I think that this problem is related to your router at home. So I would recommend updating the firmware on your router. You can get it on the page of manufactured goods.

  Also try to disable WLAN encryption and MAC address filtering.

• iMac very slow and short HOT.  the fan runs almost constantly

  Avoid using third-party software that claims to clean your computer. This software does more harm than good. In addition, you don't need it. Note that all computers become slower over time even in the normal conditions of use. Generally, the experienced users erasing the hard drive and do a clean install from scratch at least once a year or every time that the installation of a major upgrade of the OS.   I can not copy or use my ReadyNAS duo when you are connected to our router - it is incredibly slow (10 KB) in the best of times and just most of the time-error.

  It was a problem of network on my computer driver and the NAS server has started working after uninstalling and reinstalling.
