My Windows Explorer is not working properly
Here's what I mean. When I click on certain applications, they will show that they have been selected, just does not open. For example, my Windows Explorer.
This link will take you to a .gif to show you what I mean: http://gyazo.com/006ae7c3bc77125dd856cc22efcdcef1
It's a little hard to see, but you can tell that it is running, open any. He did not open behind my current web page, as you can see here:http://gyazo.com/e5991c1f5ddf9e3ceb99ead8b9c66eb5
In any case, I tried to use the for tasks Manager restart and this does not work, nor does complete the task and get it back. I'm about to refresh my PC, but the only problem is that I can't update my PC because I have too many files, most of which I do not know the importance of. I'm afraid to go delete things that are essential to my PC.
All this happened after I played call of Duty: World at War and it crashed. Since then, Windows Explorer was broken.
Help, please

Maybe it's the opening out of sight. Make sure that you do not have an active extra monitor. Press and hold Windows on your keyboard and type a P until it is said "Computer." only

Don't click Desktop error "Windows explore does not work.
Original title: Do not click on the desktop.
My desktop computer has worked fine and now all of a sudden I am unable to click anywhere on the desktop. I am running windows 7 64 bit. If I click on the desktop, it will be then to come crash with the message Windows explores does not work then he'll recover. Other differences is that all desktop backgrounds are brighter and it disappears once it restarts, but returned about 5 seconds later. That I can not click once again. Are there any suggestions? I tried to start clean and had no success?
Hi Nicolas,.
I appreciate your efforts to solve the problem.
I suggest you try the procedure described in the article and see if it helps.
Error: Windows Explorer has stopped working
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2694911/en-usNote:
1) data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.2) after the boot minimum troubleshooting step, read the sections "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
3) when you do the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
4) note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.
Hope this information helps. Answer the post with an up-to-date issue report to help you further.

Window 7
Was working before, but have only allowed a number of updates to Windows that had been blocked for a while.
For example. Type 'safe' in the search box. It finds files and directories with 'security' in the title, but not the files and directories that I can see are there with 'safe' in the title.
When I search using the "safe * ' it seems to do exactly the same thing as"safe ". It does not show only files beginning with 'safe'
My suggestion was not ' safe * ' but ' name of the file: ~ safe * "(without the quotes).

I followed the steps of the http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Windows/Windows-10-fresh-installation-on-the-HP-Stream-tablet/m-p/52038... to restore my tablet. The bottom line is - I use a keyboard and mouse, but tactile does not work, even after the installation of the various HP software specially required for the flow of data 7. When I start the Tablet, I can get the lock screen, but it cannot exceed.
I tried to install Windows 8.1 USB, but I can't go beyond the screen who wants the product key. Should what product key I use? If I go back and reinstall Windows 8.1 the touch feature work?
What can I do to get a running Stream 7 tablets?
Hello Aberger,
I guess that you have improved your 7 to 10 of Windows Workflow, but now you want to reinstall Windows 8.1, correct?
If you went to go back beyond the 30 day trial period, you can use the image USB, you must have created 8.1 Windows before installing Windows 10.
IF you have not done this media, you will need to clean install Windows 8.1 with Bing.
You can not install ordinary Windows 8.1 copy unless you buy a new key.
Machines that accompanies Windows 8.1 no longer a sticker with a key to the subject because the key is embedded in the bios. Installing Windows 8.1 with Bing will activate when he sees the key in the bios.
During the installation process, you may need to click Skip to ignore entered the key until Windows has installed fully. If so, this will cause windows to enter a Limited State of Activation. When you connect to the internet to update, it will fully activate.
You must contact the HP Support directly to the new copy of the installation media if you do not already have.

Key press a single key seed to type QWERTY in sequence on each press. The virtual keyboard works very well.
The keyboard has no problem in other programs [except Chrome]
Upgrade Windows 10 was last week and everything was fine until today when the Tuesday updates have been installed.
Have tried to reinstall the keyboard drivers, used a different keyboard and change the settings of the keyboard, but to no avail.
Obviously something to do with browsers because it only affects Firefox and Chrome [why not explore / Edge?] ... then tried to reset the settings and then reinstall... but again without success.
Any help would be welcome.
Found it... took off Zonealarm and all is well again.
I forgot Zonealarm has also updated that day... don't know why it only affected Firefox and Chrome but not flight attendants.
ZoneAlarm are behind the curve on Windows 10 and of course always, haven't paid the stable version.

My windows Explorer will not work. The APP CRASH is explorer.exe
The APP CRASH is explorer.exe. I can't reach all the functions on the start menu, or the screen. When this has happened, I got the internet browser, and I have no problem there. I downloaded a system check and verification of the register, but my computer only allows me enough time to launch. Close, but no. My McAfee system has been running for an hour, is 73% completed and shows no problem. I don't have my operating system CD, as wonderful HP and compaq have backup loaded on the HD to guess what? I can't access it? Any suggestions?
