my connection was formerly reynoso 2. one day, the connection disappeared and called Wireless in its place. I contacted my internet provider and they said that it is a virus that microsoft would need to correct. the ethernet connection still works, it's just the wireless that doesn't work. When I try to connect, it asks a user name, password, and logon domain. my provider does not areas. Help.

nothing anyone has suggested worked, so I just reset the router. has worked like a charm.

  • Wireless card no longer works on Equium l20-197

    Hello

Initially, I posted the problem I have on the US site, I didn't know that there was a site for europe.
The long and short of it is my wireless card no longer works
Here are the details on the hyperlink below and solutions of attempts, none works so far

    http://forums.Toshiba.com/T5/networking-Wi-Fi/wireless-problem/m-p/158046/highlight/false#M9476

    If someone can add something?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

According to the post in the US forum, the WLan card is not visible in the device under network adapters Manager. Right?
You can see an unknown peripheral or Ethernet controller in Device Manager?

If so, then check this Toshiba HowTo identify the unknown device:
[How to identify an unknown device (e.g. LAN wireless module)? | http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/Ann.jspa?annID=78]

If you don t have any unknown devices and if the WLan card still isn't in the list, then I guess the WiFi chip is defective.

In this case I recommend using a solution just as the use of external USB WLAN.

  • Microsoft wireless mouse no longer works on Inspiron 8200

Our Microsoft Wireless mouse no longer works on our Inspiron 8200. We have a red light on the mouse so it's on and we just changed the battery in the mouse. The computer no longer recognizes the mouse. Before his stoppage of work completely computer did not come out of standby/hibernation mode correctly. He had to press the power button rather than wake up it with the mouse.

Now that I have attached a wired mouse, he wakes up as it should with the movement of the mouse or a key.

Do you by chance have a solution that I can download?

    Thank you.

  • Wireless keyboard no longer works with Bootcamp that run under El Capitan

I have an iMac 21.5 mid-2011 "2.7 Ghz, 12 GB with a Bootcamp with Windows 8 partition is installed.

Everything that used to work very well.

End of September / beginning of October, I installed El Capitan, but never checked Bootcamp as only a few client projects require me to switch platforms.

A recurring job that needs to be updated with Windows apps landed on my desk today.

So I started Bootcamp/Wiindows and everything seemed normal.

My Apple Wireless Mouse mouse works but found, when I got to the Windows account login screen, that my Apple Wireless keyboard does not work with Windows more.

I have read several threads on this discussion forum and tried the suggestions made by different people: the VMRAM reset, turn off the iMac and unplug the power supply, the keyboard in Mac OS X Bluetooth pairing. But no joy.

Several responses seem to indicate that there is a software which can be downloaded in Windows that allow the keyboard is working again.

However I can't sent the newspaper on the screen to reach the Windows desktop, because I need to enter my password or security number using my wireless keyboard.

If I seem to be stuck between the hammer and the anvil :-(

Are there bright and sensible ideas I can try to fix this?

You have a wired keyboard and mouse that can be connected to the iMac?

  • Wireless adapter no longer works

The other night, I left for work and my wireless connection worked.  When I arrived home my computer had completed and updated auto and rebooted, and my wireless connection disappeared.  I disabled the card and back on... nothing.  I took the card and replaced it... nothing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled... nothing.  At this point, I thought that my card had gone bad, so I bought a new.  I uninstalled the old then installed a new... nothing.

In Device Manager, everything appears and windows says it all works.  When I remove the card and replace windows it recognizes each time as it should.  I know that the wireless signal works because my laptop and other computer are wireless and they never missed a beat, but despite everything I rebooted my modem and router, still nothing.

It acts like the wireless on my computer is off, but I can't understand why or how that would have occurred.  Help, please.

    Hi BriLittrell,

    Method1

Check out who are the updates which has been installed on the computer before that the problem began, later, uninstall it and check if that helps.

    1. Open installed updates by clicking on theStart button, clickingControl Panel, clickingPrograms and then underPrograms and features, clickingView updates installed. Note the number KB for the updates have been installed before this problem started.
    2. Select the update that has been installed and uninstall updates.
    3. Restart the computer and check if that helps you connect to the internet

Access the link below for more information about uninstalling updates.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/remove-an-update

If the steps above fail, follow method 2.

    Method 2

You can perform a restore of the system to date to before the updates were installed and check if it helps you to solve the problem.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose another restore point and then click Next.

    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

    4. click on finish.

The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

Access the link below for more information on restoring the system.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

  • On WRT54G2 v1 wireless function no longer works

Only the wired PC works.  Two other laptops cannot take up any signal from the router.

I tried flashing the new FW, reset, reboot, electric bicycle.  The router does not even appear on any PC.

I put this router with WPA 3 months ago and worked perfectly... now deceased.

    What more to do?

Finally managed to do work this way:

    1. On a preliminary step, has updated the firmware downloaded from this site
    2. Connected to the router via a wired LAN cable
    3. Connected to the configuration @ 192.168.1.1 page
    4. Went to one of the tabs to reset to factory settings
    5. Changed the password by default SSID and administration, WPA security and password adding value
    6. Starting my PC with the wireless turned off
    7. Opened at the request of wireless connection of PC and delete the old router connection profile
    8. Turned on the application of wireless connection on the PC
    9. Immediately saw the router THAT SSID is listed again in networks 'Beach '.
    10. A through the configuration screens to specify the security type, and password
    11. Bingo!  I'm back on.

Better I can understand, something happened that has corrupted the configuration of the router and prevented him from associating with the PC wireless or assignment of IP addresses.  The reset settings this clears up and me got home.  Both my laptop connect now perfectly once again, quickly and @ 18Mbps!

    Hello

For most Wlan issues are related to problems of compatibility between the wireless network card and the Wlan router.
Sometimes the Wlan driver allows to obtain the best performance.
So, try to update the WLan driver first. Maybe it helps.

  • my wireless card no longer works...

randomly using my computer my card wireless NETWORK has stopped working. I checked, and for some reason any the pilot only are there no more. tried to reinstall that driver for my realtek wireless card, still did not work. site HP Web to find what drivers I might miss even tried, and it came with nothing. I cannot turn it on anyway, can't find it anywhere except my device manager and, even then, it gives me no details on this at all. I don't know what else to try, or why she would randomly doing this. I scanned for virus, nothing came. and I made sure the NETWORK card has been activated in all ways I might be able to turn it on.

Electrical components sometimes must have all the food sources removed and reintroduced to work properly.  Try to perform a hard reset first, if this does not work then we will move on to the next step.

    To perform a hard reset

    • Shut down the computer by going to the menu start and select shut down. (If you have no display, hold the button for 5 seconds); (if the computer don't market, go to the next step)
    • Unplug the adapter from the laptop.
    • Remove the battery from the bottom of the laptop.  There will be a switch/battery eject button.
    • Wait at least 1 minute with all sources of power disconnected.
    • Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power adapter, and then try to turn on the laptop.
  • Internet connection no longer works unless I have disconnect and reconnect the wifi regularly

I find that after a time random, maybe twenty minutes a half an hour or so, my internet connection breaks down and it can only be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting to my wifi network.

It is a problem on my iMac of retina 2014 running El Capitan and 2011 MacBook Air my wife running Mountain Lion (but not on my MacBook Air of 2011 which takes place in Yosemite).

It does not seem to be triggered by almost anything, but it's maddening to have to do all the time. It's a router NetGear btw, less than a year.

If anyone has a solution I'd love to hear it!

    Greetings, peederjigson!

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! It seems you have some problems to stay connected to the Wi - Fi on some of your devices. This is not how it is supposed to work so I'll be happy to help you.

Use the Diagnostics wireless for you help to solve the problems of Wi-Fi on your Mac - even with a new router, the firmware may need to be updated. But this article can go a long way to point out where it is.

The potential of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference sources - because this is not the case with all your devices, it could be other things blocking the signal. Here are a few potential sources.

Recommended settings for the WiFi routers and access points - because your router is "-ish" make sure that the settings are correct.

  • For Satellite A70-S259 wireless connection does not work

I started my laptop that worked just great for a long time and all of a sudden my wireless network card is not recognized. I have an Atheros Super G 802.11 wireless network adapter internal, to say my computer doesn't have a driver for! I check support.toshiba.com and re-installed all the drivers on the Wi - Fi or LAN. EVEN IF my internet connection works when I have an ethernet cable plugged into the laptop, I reinstalled both local network drivers.

What is going on? How can I fix it? Anyone? In addition, I don't know if it will let know me when you have posted a reply, but my email is [email protected]. You can answer here as well, but please make the subject, "Toshiba", so I'm deleting it by mistake.

    Thank you

    Frustrated user

So when you install the wireless LAN driver, it gives you an error Code?

Have you installed the Wifi drivers other Toshiba? Perhaps another driver is in conflict.

If the Wifi Toshiba driver does not install, there could be a registry problem or there is a problem in the WINDOWS\INF folder. You can try to move the INFs containing "OEM" in a temporary folder, then reinstall Wifi card.

If you have not reinstalled windows for a long time, maybe its time to back up your data and start again, starting from your recovery CD. Windows can become bloated and corrupt over time. Personally, I reinstall Windows once a year.
