  Are you saying that you have followed the instructions provided by Brad, I downloaded my 10 free images and they all have the Adobe watermark on them, so I can't use them. Why do they have a watermark on them?  and you are unable to download images without the watermark? Please provide the steps that you use to better we can help you with your problem.

  You can try to download the Mac version and using the serial number of the drive.  LR serial numbers are normally good for both platforms.

  You can have too many restore points, a HD that is too small or too many things installed.  What you can do, and it must be safe is to run the Disk Cleanup Wizard.  This will clean the temporary files and a lot of things
