Mysterious process

I was given a computer media center m8200n (AMD 64 / 3 gig of ram) running Vista that has 'problems '. I used the program of recovery to re install and updated to SP 2, etc. Works well. Have installed only yesterday, MSE and Malwarebytes.

The 'problem' is that 'something' is running at startup, causing a considerable amount of hard drive activity. I can hear it crunch around similar to a defragmentation process and it extends about 1/2 hour.

He has done since the sweet install, even before any additional software has been added.

I disabled Windows Defrag in the Task Manager, and there are not enough files causes indexing to run as long.

I have reviewed msconfig and sees nothing exceptional. I would like to know the best way to identify anything?

Thank you very much

Hello:

There is a better average of probability it's the Superfetch process.  I put it to manual in mine. The HARD disk after initial start-up activity went faster.

How to disable Superfetch or manual value:

Here is a link to tweak Vista little more to make it work better.

How can I stop the background of all the Internet and Windows process while I play a game. It always happens that my games freeze because of some mysterious process that is running Windows Vista. In the old days, you can load files from ms - dos command set and that solved the problem

There are software utilities that can do this, but the name of them escapes me at the moment. I would not say that in any case on current systems. The performance gain will be not sufficiently notable to make it useful and then having to manually restart the services and/or process could be a pain.

You can launch the task (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) Manager and put an end to "Explorer.exe". This will give you some of your physical memory and the processor power, but not much.

Looking for an online software that allows you to automate the process. I think that something in the sense of 'Game Optimizer' would give you something to go off of, be very careful scams.

You can always kill the startup items in MSCONFIG. This way you won't have 1 million launching applications in the background when Windows starts.

    Try this:

    1. click on START

(If you are using Windows XP...)

    2. click on run, type "msconfig" and press on enter

(If you are running Windows Vista...)

2 type "msconfig" and press enter
    3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries that you see are not necessary. Some examples would be qtask, pcfmon, Skype, msnmsgr, etc.

    * It won't hurt to disable them, you can easily repeat the steps and re-enable them if necessary

    Hope this helps,

  • Why Acrobat technical support seems to know anything about shared reviews?

Led evacuation, but also honestly ask why Adobe has to suck so badly in their support for Acrobat...

I was on the phone with technical support Acrobat today (outsourced team maybe?) to ask questions on another issue, I'll have with comments that disappears. I can't see the comments, but can another evaluator. I can see on the webDAV server comments are here, sitting in the XML file under the name of the reveiwer, but when I open the PDF file, it will not catch these observations.

Technology support not one, but TWO guys at Adobe seemed stunned by these XML files they think that I created. I had to explain that I have created nothing; That's what Acrobat when you create a shared review. It's an XML file for each reviewer and it sticks in a folder of your choice, which the URL name is cooked in the PDF. I had to walk each other through the process of creating a shared review, and they have both acted as if it was a mysterious process of weird that I'm jerryrigging.

They said it was 'unusual' I use a webDAV server, but I told them that webDAV is one of the three options provided by Assistant Adobe when you set up a shared review. (The other options are network and Sharepoint folder.) I told them that it is not unusual at all; in fact, I received all the instructions FROM ADOBE original installation.

They kept me waiting for three to five minutes to apparently try looking things up, or maybe just to avoid my growing anger.

I had another hunch that the problem might be that my synced folder may have to be emptied (obtained from this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3596773) and asked them if they could tell me where to find the sync on Mac folder, because this thread refers only to Windows. He had no idea. I asked him that, probably, somewhere at Adobe, where he works, anyone knows where that is installed on the Mac.

He put me on hold for three to five minutes and he said he didn't know, but he's going to "degenerate" it and get back to me in 24 to 48 hours, which is the execution time-out faster, they can gather, apparently.

The only soultions I ever find my misfortunes of Acrobat are users desperate themselves. I suspect also that only users (not Adobe technical support, who do not seem to care what anyone) he will never even read.

On my system with Acrobat 9 Pro, they file Synchronizer user is under:

    / Users/georgejohnson/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/9.0_x86/Synchronizer/resources

Could be a problem with the server for the user permissions?

I'm infected w / which seems to be the most mysterious infection known for Windows right now.  One wonders if it's a Trojan horse, worm, malware, etc., or just a natural process for C: Windows\system32.  It's almost like 'shadow people '.  For most, there quite harmless, fantasy of the mind.  But, from time to time, there is actually something that happens on the corner of your cornea, so to speak.  This is very sneaky and difficult to diagnose a problem b/c he hides with the Service host.  I'm here b/c I have a question, but also to help others to understand that, unlike the 'shadow people', the shadow of an infection is very REAL.  This infected process is, for the most part, quite harmless unless something malicious attaches to it and could things get a bit risky.  Anyway, I'm sorry for this rambling diatribe, but I have a question for someone who is very smart b/c so far it seems not yet to be a definitive repair because some people still think it's a natural function or process in the Windows operating system.  So here it is: How can I solve this problem?  And I can fix it with or without a full restore of my records?  I'd really appreciate any input on this very discouraging, boring, mind and body draining, faulty computer "BUG".  BTW, I have a dv9500 HP Pavilion x 64 Ultimate for Vista that was bought there are 3 1/2 years.  I've dealt with this infection since the end of February and have spent more than $400 on this terrible nuisance.  But Club (all jokes aside), I really enjoyed, grateful and very thankful for someone with an answer to this complicated issue.  Thanks for the time!

  • Safari of mysterious inscriptions - telephone,

My iPhone 6 Plus (64 GB, iOS 9...?) acted strangely several times in the past week.  Once while waiting on a phone call, the phone started beeping quickly, enter a string in itself.  Once, while performing a boarding 'Check In' process (Safari), my web page Archive airline suddenly disappeared, replaced by a quick succession of mysterious web pages.  Needless to say that the timing of my boarding pass check in went completely wrong.

I'd be happy to hear from anyone with ideas on how to correct this dysfunction.  Thank you.

Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the multitasking window by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. You may need to search the Safari part covering scribbles to the left. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it rises. You won't lose anything.

Another possibility is a corrupt system. You will need to do a system restore, if that's the case.

  • Photo screensaver visiting mysteriously stopped working and I can not even do a system restore

The screen saver picture in Vista has worked flawlessly since last two or three years. Last month, he simply stops working after 5-10 minutes. I tried all the fixes I've seen on the forum. None of them have worked. Also, I tried two restores system to an earlier time when it worked well, and both times the system restore has not been completed due to a mysterious error in the process. Anyone has any ideas on either of these problems? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Salvation History Buff.

    Step 1

Delete the video files in the folder that you use for the photo screen saver. Check if all files are empty.

    Step 2

Ditch your computer in a clean boot to verify if there is software conflicts.

  • Deleted files mysteriously return

Old files that I deleted months ago continue to mysteriously return. I have them deleted at least 5 times now, and I can't understand what holds back them. I am part of a team that uses the creative Cloud, and this phenomenon has affected our cloud of the entire team.

We use a root folder that has been shared among the whole team, so we all have access to the files we create.

Please send me a private Message with the following information:

    • The name of the root folder worked.
    • The email addresses of the people involved in the collaboration.
    • The Adobe ID which is the owner of the root folder worked.

Deleting is a two-step process. If you remove files from the Creative Cloud Files folder on your desktop, then go in the Archive ( https://assets.adobe.com/files?filter=archive). Think Trash on Mac OS X or the Recycle Bin on Windows. You can then empty the archives by a Permanent delete web application. The Archive is not visible from the creative Cloud Files folder on your desktop. That all said that files should not be a restoration of the Archive unless someone involved in the collaboration made.

    Hello
It is not a mystery, but it's something of undocumented.

There is a moment ago, I got the same curiosity when I saw an unknown PMON process on my host.
I noticed that initializing DBCA, or the Oracle DBUA always creates a temporary instance named DBUA in a short period, for internal reasons, it also saves a service on the port to listen temporarily.

This dummy instance is started to determine what options are available for DBCA use it. This instance is created and deleted in a few seconds, to run two select "select the option setting of $ v where the value = 'TRUE'" and "select version of v$ timezone_file.

Start dbca and check the pmon process.

You will see something like this:

    $ ps -ef |grep pmon
    oracle 2485 1 4 23:14 ? 00:00:00 ora_pmon_DBUA0

For more information, see the trace log that is played during the DBCA runs.

    $ORALCE_BASE/cfgtoollogs/dbca/trace.log_

    See this example:

    cat trace.log_OraDb11g_home1

  • Request contact form case management process

    Users of gDay BC

I have a client who wishes to use BC e-mail that way BC intends it to be used. However, I don't have a good explanation of how this is done.

For example, when a client sends a request for contact form, my customer receives a notification of workflow, which then opens the secured link that takes him directly in the case.

It then uses the response of BC from inside this case area. Then the original customer receives the email responded with a chance to "answer above this line" and start a thread of emails. After that the customer does not respond, the following e-mails occur only in e-mail and without CB customers. Is this normal? I thought all emails would be kept in the database, and a wire will be held which is officially in British Colombia.

Can someone point me to a page that explains the process that intends to make of the BC system to the customer?

    see you soon

    GDay Mario and Liam

I read on the TSA in the knowledgbase BC now, and I see that it has to be configured. I've been wrongly feel that emails from data collected have been setup by default, then he thought mysterious that they were not the fact.

Thanks for that I see that he needs to be put in place, so I'm going to jump in, I'm eager to get this permit.

    see you soon

  • Panini - mysterious errors causing the release to fail

So me and another student use catalyst (initially, CS5, now Panini) to build and maintain a Web site for our design studio, which we have worked since the fall. We just recently 'upgraded' to Panini (IE rebuilt the file in the new program to take advantage of the new features) and it was works perfectly until a few days ago. (You can see what we have until the www.kcrightofway.com) We now have the issue that, after a few hours on a file, when we try to publish for the deployment on the server it will give an error at the end of the process that indicates it can publish the project due to an error in the code. So move us on to the workspace Code as he said, but generally there is no error displayed with only the first line of code highlighted, which States:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >

A few times, he showed problems labeled as "Unknown error" or "Error Flex", which would usually be point to the next section of code:

    " < = xmlns:fx s:Application ' http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009 "

    xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark".

    ' xmlns:d = ' http://ns.Adobe.com/FXG/2008/DT"" "

    ' xmlns:fc = ' http://ns.Adobe.com/flashcatalyst/2009"" "

    ' xmlns:ATE = ' http://ns.Adobe.com/ate/2009"" "

    " xmlns: = ' http://ns.Adobe.com/AI/2009"" "

    ' xmlns:flm = ' http://ns.Adobe.com/flame/2008"" "

    xmlns:lib = "" assets.graphics.HOME_TEMPLATE. * ""

    xmlns:components = "components.*".

    width = "100%" height = "100%" backgroundColor = "#FFFFFF" preloaderChromeColor = "#FFFFFF".

    FC:previewHeight = "700" = '1050' fc:previewWidth >

Now, I know almost nothing about the code, but it seems that the pieces of code that highlight its setting are out of our control, parts defined by the program itself. And as we were able to solve this problem, we have resorted to the creation of the iterative backup files every hour, while to redo all the work, its quite small. This became necessary because these mysterious errors tends to work on a file seems a bit pointless. But the worst thing is that when we get an error like this and then try to return to a previous save file, it will now have the same mistake, as if the problem became contagious. It seems almost like something in the publishing process changes a setting in the program itself, or how it would affect all of a sudden the old files. It is incredibly frustrating for us, because we cannot even begin to understand why this would never happen, and then it pushes our progress even further.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as we are completely clueless about any way to solve this problem.

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

The reason why you are having problems, it's that the project takes too much memory to compile. This is probably due to the large number of images in your project, and they are all integrated. You can do some settings to allow the compiler to use more memory, but I strongly recommend that you compress your images and convert all large images to be linked rather than embedded.

To allow the compiler to use more memory

    1. Go to the folder of installation of Flash Catalyst (on my Mac, disk/Applications/Adobe Flash Catalyst Panini)
    2. Open the SDK folder, then the folder it contains, then the bin folder
    3. You should now be a place like disk/Applications/Adobe Flash Catalyst Panini / SDK / [sdk version] / bin
    4. Open ShadoMX/util/Flex/SDK/bin/jvm.config in a text editor and replace the line
      Java.args =-Xmx384m - Dsun.io.useCanonCaches = false
      with

    Java.args =-Xmx1024m - Dsun.io.useCanonCaches = false
  • Save the file, restart the catalyst and reopen your case
  • How did you create this project? You import a model I or PS and then convert it to components? You import all your work in the form of image files and then create while catalyst?

  • shorten .fla development process

    Hi all

I'll try to do a small site with flash.  I'll try to make it look like what the cosmos (solar system, or maybe the moon landscape).  a planet will be a button, which will take me to another page who plays another film, etc...    and in the end, I'm hoping to get a few items on the page to query some mysql dbs, I already put in place.

I don't know flash very well at all.  in fact, just today I was looking at some film top of lynda.com tutorials.  I'm not surprised at all with what I've seen, and it's what I expected.  It seems that flash is really a process more complex and time consuming to create a html simple, even a dynamic Web site.

I watch the tutorials and trying to think of ways to shorten the process of development, learning the ropes, etc.  One of them showed how to use a movie, even with a current picture clip, looping and this gave me the idea that there must be other ways too, to shorten it, or use a few tricks to get what you want more quickly.

I'm using CS5, which I've had for a while now, but my question is: if flash is made up of many components and process as adding photos, adding images, sound, keyframes, etc., what kind of things can I do to get what I want, or close to what I want faster?

The things I already know how to do, of course, are things like browsing the web for images of the solar system, audio files, etc., so I can't create those things myself.  Does anyone else here have more suggestions on this?

I know that I'm stuck with the apprenticeship program myself and obviously it must be done.   Any suggestions on how to speed the process of learning and other, or even suggestions on what is most relevant and irrelevant in the flash program would be extremely helpful!   For example, many flash templates I see out there do not look complicated at all, to know that I took a few tutorials on the program and how it works a little (and how complicated things can get!).

    Thank you guys.

There is no shortcut in learning.  Before you can do something faster, he must be able to do it at all.  Flash may seem complicated to you because you are not familiar with it, but as a web design tool, it's not more complicated or a lot of time that working with html/css/javascript... it might even be less intensive than them these days.  Which can take a long time usually develops elements of animation, with or without code, but it's an aspect of Flash that you can't achieve with other technologies (like a less easily).   But like anything new, it's a mystery that requires time, effort and patience to be able to use it.  So your best bet is to strap and get to work.

  • All my messages on my iPhone were mysteriously deleted after I restarted - is it possible to sync my old backup iPhone with my iMessages on my Mac?

    Hello!

This past weekend, I noticed that my Messages app acted strangely on my iPhone 6. Accordingly, I turned and turn it on again and noticed that all of my posts have disappeared. I then did a hard reset and turned on - still no messages.

I have my settings to keep my messages forever, what really saddened me to see all of my messages disappeared. In any case, I'm about to restore my backup iPhone on a new phone (6 s). Luckily, I backed up my phone the week last before my messages disappearing.

I understand that when I restore a backup, everything that happened on my phone since will not appear. However, I have also the Messages on my MacBook Air app, when kept all my messages before and after the mysterious disappearance on my phone. Once I have perform this restore, I was wondering if it is possible to synchronize in any post-restore on my laptop to my phone messages.

    Thank you!

    Hi masizh,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6 s! I understand that you want to synchronize the restoration of post messages on your Mac Messages app to your iPhone 6 s. If these are the iMessages, your new device needs to load the entire conversation once you send or receive an iMessage from the recipient. SMS messages may not work in the same way, however, you can contact your operator for support with text messages.

To continue to have your Mac with your iPhone SMS sync, don't forget to implement continuity with your new device.

If you have an iPhone, the SMS that you send and receive on your iPhone may appear on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch as well. You can then continue the conversation from any device is closer to you.

Set up SMS and MMS messaging

Use this feature with any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that satisfies the requirements of continuity system. Make sure that your devices are configured as follows:

    • Each device is connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Make sure the Apple ID at the top of the screen is the same Apple ID you use for iMessage on other devices. Add a check to your address, phone number, so that you can be reached by both iMessage. Do the same on your iPad or iPod touch.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > transfer, text messages, then choose which devices to send and receive text messages from the iPhone. A verification code and then on each device. Enter this code on your iPhone.
    • On Mac, open Messages, and then choose message > Preferences. Click accounts, and then select your account from iMessage. Make sure the Apple ID shown here is the same Apple ID you use on other devices. Add a control to your phone number and email address.

Use the SMS and MMS messaging

To use this feature, simply start conversations as usual in the Messages application on any of your devices. Alternatively, you can start a conversation by clicking a phone number in Safari, Contacts, calendar, or other applications detecting phone numbers. All your incoming and outgoing messages on all your devices.

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Enjoy your new iPhone!

  • App, networking, process cloud runaways; Very slow to connect to servers, high fan

I have the same problem on two different computers. A new installation (of Sierra of MacOS) (with costs users, no restored settings, preferences, etc.) fixed, but not the other. (Past the wire: all Web apps suddenly slow; fan high speed).

On the computer that still does not, have the following processes often rampant and prevents the computer access to the servers to load pages, apps, etc..

    • trustd
    • Mail
    • messaging networks
    • Safari
    • Networking of Safari
    • storeaccountd
    • AKD
    • accountsd
    • nsurlstoraged
    • nsurlsessiond
    • syncdefsultsd
    • cloudd
    • com.apple.CommerceKit.transactionservice

Obviously the issue transcends the user the user and settings (because it affects the settings and new users).

So I guess that it is a problem with iCloud? A question of trousseau (iCloud)? How to fix this?

I am VERY interested in any orientation.

I just tried these steps recommended for new users of macOS with wifi problems: http://osxdaily.com/2016/09/22/fix-wi-fi-problems-macos-sierra/

    The problem persists.
