Mystery of BB email blackBerry Smartphones all non-existent problem

Hi, I received an e-mail asking me to validate the password to the email address that I use on my BB, of [email protected]. It is said e-mails from my e-mail address are not delivered to my BB.

But they are, or were a few minutes ago.

Email tells me to go to the service Intenet BB site, then go to page email accounts. And I can't find one at http://uk.blackberry.com/support/software/internet.jsp

So I can't find what's wrong and does not know why this email was sent to me. Can anyone suggest anything?

Thank you

Dave

  • BlackBerry Smartphones e-mail synchronization - problems sending/reception of the BB and Hotmail emails

Emails sent from the computer using Hotmail do not appear in the BlackBerry smartphone. However, e-mails sent using BlackBerry device appears in the device as well as in Hotmail and the same is true for all incoming mail. The only question is sent with mail from Hotmail, which items do not appear in the device. I tried options email reconciliation, but the problem persists.

  • Problem of partial arrival email blackBerry Smartphones

Only some 20% or more, of my emails arrive at the BB.  Clicking on reconcile does nothing.  It is too random and not related to the sender as a sender can send me ten emails which two will arrive quickly and others never, come not even days later.  My Outlook Inbox is categorized in a main reception, but with 12 subfolders box to run my email into categories of e-mail from specific senders.  That this has something to do with it?  I could configure subfolders in the BB too?

    Thanks for your help.

I have the resolution of the RIM.

The solution does not mean one must have an Inbox and any subfolder beneath him.  It can keep the subfolders under Inbox in Outlook.  I have many subfolders who run the mail coming to me; a real sort timesaver - under "create rules.

The answer is to address the issue of BB Mail Exchange server checking every 15 minutes for the mail from the Inbox, while most of the Pop3 servers check every minute or two.  I receive mails it at the same time.  Others would be gliding through the invisible.  This is really random and frustrating.  I had received about 10% of my mail.  The gap is resolved by going to 'Tools' to Outlook.

In Outlook, click Tools, click e-mail accounts, click view or change existing e-mail accounts and click Next, click on change when the pop-server@youraccount is highlighted, click additional settings from the context menu, called Internet e-mail settings, click the Advanced tab and under the delivery section, select a check box to "leave a copy of messages on the server. , select a check box "remove from server after _ days".  I chose the least time available - 1 day.

I now get all emails on the BB, and the problem is solved.

Age of your device is not relevant. If your usage patterns consume a lot of resources, it's the situation. But I have no way of knowing what your habits are, so I can't guide you. Basically, however, you will need to find out what is 'normal' for your usage patterns and then only worry when things diverge significantly from that. If it means charge 3 times a day due to a very intense use, that's what it means.

Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is this a problem with my Bold 9700 flash memory?

A few annoying problems recently with my Bold 9700.

First, my Blackberry has suddenly started to massively delete recent appointments in my calendar, which will attempt to remove them from my Outlook calendar when I synchronize the device to my laptop.  This has not happened before, and I checked to make sure that the schedule is set to never delete nominations, and it is set correctly.

Second, my Blackberry App World application (both on the device and online) does not display one of my installed applications, except one, but they are all still on the device and working properly.  I'm 18 apps installed from BB App World, beyond the pre-installed applications on the device, which are less than 10 MB in total size.

The reason I think that the problem could be linked to the internal flash memory is that whenever I want to install an application, I usually get a message indicating there is enough memory and I have to uninstall some other applications to free up space.  When I checked my memory earlier, he said that had less than 1 MB.  I restarted the machine and now it tells me there is 12.2 MB of available space, which always seems incredibly low for me since I installed only about 10 MB of my own applications.  So, I delete the file all attachments of the device and do not keep e-mail on the device beyond 30 days, and all media is stored on flash cards, not in the device memory.

The most important question I have to solve is how to prevent the device to delete data from calendar (it keeps recurring appointments, but has been deleted and everything before about two weeks ago).

    Hello

It's an automatic protection mechanism with BBs. During the AppMemory (not the device, no media memory card memory) get low, the BB must start deleting things to preserve its ability to operate. Unfortunately, he really can't go after data... it can't really go after installed applications. Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
      • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB10183 E-mail messages are removed from the BlackBerry device until the messages expire

In addition, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

Now, AppMemory is not just for the apps... the real BB operating system is here as well. Depending on the options you have included, which might be things bloating as well.

    Good luck!

Scroll down to BlackBerry AppWorld > delete.

or KB10040 : how to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone

Perform a restart on the BlackBerry this way: with the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, remove the battery for a min. and then reinsert the battery of waiting until it reboot.

Now, since your browser BB go to thewww.blackberry.com/appworld and install again.

After installation go to app world and see if you are able to download on a PC, you can also try to scan the barcode of this application, it will request a download link on your device. Please try it and let us know. But like I said try to download Over the Air.

  • Setting up Comcast email blackBerry Smartphones

I have set up my client of instant messaging to work successfully my access to company for installation work email.  I have 2 questions I'm looking for help. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

1 when I signed to my e-mail account to Microsoft Outlook with work, whenever I have send a message from my desktop e-mail client, an email appears on my Blackberry with a green check mark. All of these emails says something like XXXX bytes available.  Is it possible to stop the messages sent to my device, or is it a problem of the company's server?

    2. I am trying to configure my blackberry so I can check my account staff comcast.  When I enter my e-mail settings icon... Select create NEW account, answer legal questions... Then I get this... AN account already exists for this PIN... Please try again... • Address Email blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry lost/deleted

    Hello

I recently went to the store I bought my Blackberry because that some features of the application were not working. The problem has been fixed, but at the same time as my email address has been accidentally deleted by the employee, I contacted my carriers technical support to get the e-mail retrieved, but they had informed me that the email has been deleted.

is the address and I would like it to be retrieved.

    Thank you.

    Juliana.

This really isn't the best place to come for advice iCrap. This is a forum of BlackBerry.

    Peep says:

Wonderful that MTS 'lied' to me!  Makes feel me a lot better in this...

Yes, they lied to you. It must empower the MTS for this.

You can think what you want, I'M helping you. Otherwise I would not ask the questions that I have, or giving you'll "Councils" acting kind around here. If you make comments of the iPhone, I can answer. Just, right?

    Peep says:

To answer your questions: I don't know what they mean by deleted.  That's what told me the MTS agent that they "accidentally deleted/erased my email account & that a Director of RIM will provide me the steps to retrieve.   (He was the person who wrote the original post on this site...)  I guess that means my camera - but I only got this phone (only) for a year, then unlke, I'm not an expert & do not know. My account was never closed for some reason any.  He was "upgraded" as far as I know, but I don't know anything more then that.   I would just get my BB email... that's all.

Ok. Back to the real issue.  I understand now. Here's what you need to do.

Get on the MTS agent's phone, or another and explain to them that THEY have to 'COMMUNICATE' this problem until the RIM level tech support, RIM technical support level two. Use these words... Ask., so require, make them do. They need to "intensify" their problem they have caused RIM to determine if RIM can UN-make their mistake.

You pay MTS technical support with your monthly contract. Require it. Don't let them push you here where they know we cannot fix their mistake.

    Good luck.

  • 9300 user - set up email - blackBerry Smartphones baffled - incorrect password error

I hope someone here can shed some light ofn this because I spent 3 weeks trying to solve and I'm still stuck after literally hours on the phone to the network provider and explore every possible potential cause.

About three weeks ago, I upgraded my Curve 9300 BB at 9380.  I copied settings using desktop software preconfigured and transferred to my new camera.  Applications reinstalled fine and I put five e-mail accounts, including 3 (business email) offered in a hosting account with Media Temple.  These all work very well and still do.

My old phone had to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and set all settings at default and follow the procedure for a new SIM card.  When we tried to put in place the enamel on the old device (9300) wouldn't giving the error message Impossible to verify the account contact email provider.  I am the administrator of the e-mail accounts so I know that the settings are correct., network provider resets all settings for email etc and account details BIS etc are all correct.  The e-mail account works through outlook and is accessible via webmail, and we tried changing password and even deleted and created a new e-mail account, but always the same problem - error message telling the user or incorrect password.

I hope that it was a problem with the settings of the old appliance (9300) we could identify and address but it seems not to be that now when I try to put in place a new e-mail account on my new camera (9380) I get the same problem!  User password error - when data are 100% correct and on a device that I have successfully implemented the same type of email account!

I'm completely puzzled and if anyone has or knows a similar problem and has information about this, or has managed to solve, I would like to hear that I've explored everything I can think of network hosts and email.

You must call your provider to find out if the 9300 is properly registered on their network and on behalf of SIM card in the device. They need to confirm the good BlackBerry data Plan on this account, it is not unusual for them wrongly not do or provide incorrect data plan.

Model BB Curve 8520, Smartphone (Edge Wi - Fi) V5.0.0.681 (Platform 5.2.0.67)

    Hi, hope someone can help!

My BB is a little more than 1 year and worked perfectly. All of a sudden there's a week my email and messenger has stopped working. I am connected to my wifi at home and use data of O2 in the case plan.

I did a battery without effect pull.

I rang O2 helplne twice and they talked me through various operations, but could not solve the problem. Finally, they said that as it was purchased in London (it was a gift, but I have received), I needed to return to the store as it was a problem of BB. Not so easy that I live in the western part of the Ireland.

If I go to the e-mail settings , it says "your device had a problem connecting to the server.

In Status of the Service - it is said BB Internet Service connection: not connected

Connection to the BB Enterprise Server: not connected

Text messaging works very well. Browser works well too and of course I can access my email from here but it is the major concern.

    Thanks for listen/read my post
