  This led to four '+' for the queue and only a single point where 'buffer' is equal to the queue.

  I think that in this case the complex variable preconfigured virtual_free might work for you.

  Presentation of jobs like this is just programmed to be host providing 30G of virtual memory, or also the mem_free, which shows just the physical memory.
