    Help me please!

The window does not say that it is does not activate. In fact, it indicates that your computer is already configured.

It is the window that you would see if she were not enabled:

Assuming that you have an appropriate version of Win7, you can install Windows Virtual PC.

  • How to turn on hardware virtualization on my computer?

    Hello community VMware,

I have a question quite simple and intuitive. At the moment the computer I use is an Acer Aspire 7736-6080 running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I'm using VMware Workstation 7.0

I get an error in VMware saying that I need to enable hardware virtualization, but I have no idea on how to do it eventually. I discovered on the internet that I need to do it via the BIOS and it must be called virtualization technology (VT).  I have a BIOS from Phoenix Technologies and I went through the BIOS configuration utility and there it says nothing on VT or hardware virtualization. So I don't know how to solve the problem. I need someone to show me how to turn on VT or hardware for virtualization. If it's any help the CPU I used is Intel (r) Core 2 Duo T6600 CPU 2.20 GHz and Intel Centrino inside.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

In addition, for what it's worth sytem does not support you the VT anyway, then you will not be able to run 64-bit guests.

  • Need help to turn on hardware virtualization on my Lenovo Ideapad y330

    Hello

I have ideapad Lenovo Ideapad 330 with Config like below:

Processor: Intel (r) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU [email protected] ghz 2.00 ghz

    RAM: 2GB

    HD: 320 GB

    OS: Windows 7(32bit)

I want to know is hardware virtualization supported by my laptop, if yes, then how can I activate it because the Intel VT Settings feature is coming in the Bios disabled and I'm not able to activate.

Please provide a solution for it.

    ---

    Thank you

updating the BIOS will not help you because your chipset does not support vt. Thus, there is nothing you can do about it.

  • Best-practice for hardware virtualization?

Hardware virtualization is disabled by default when I create new virtual machines in my VMware clusters. But what are the best practices for this what settings are recommended? Are there reasons NOT to activate the hardware virtualization?

IMO there is no advantage in allowing virtualization of hardware if you have no need for the virtual machine (for example, a virtual host of the ESXi).

  • Enable hardware virtualization in the BIOS

I'm trying to run a virtual machine on virtualbox, but it needs hardware virtualization enabled in my bios (it says).

I have a HP Pavillion a6347.it with Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q6600, where hardware virtualization should be possible (read this: http://ark.intel.com/products/29765/Intel-Core2-Quad-Processor-Q6600-(8M-Cache-2_40-GHz-1066-MHz-FSB... ).)

How can I enable hardware virtualization in my bios?

Thanks for all your support, I'm Italian sorry my bad English please

If you have the option of hardware virtualization, virtualization or virtualization technology material that it should be located under the tab power options. "Other options which can be found under power options include"after current AC power', ' NX not execute ", S5 max energy saving" and "WOL in S5. If you don't see the option of virtualization on power, look through all the tabs options. If you don't see the option of virtualization anywhere in your BIOS, it is likely that it is not supported by your computer.

  • Qosmio G50-136 - how to turn on hardware virtualization

    Hello

I have a Qosmio G50-136 with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600, which is supposed to be YES to virtualization technology (intel VT - x) by intel itself ([intel | http://ark.intel.com/products/35568/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-P8600-3M-Cache-2_40-GHz-1066-MHz-FSB]).

My problem is that no available through HWSetup bios settings refer to the hardware virtualization.
So is it possible to activate it? I run mac os x 64 bit in vmware workstation.

    > My problem is that no available through HWSetup bios settings refer to the hardware virtualization.

.and did you check the BIOS settings?
To my knowledge, the VT can be enabled and disabled only in the BIOS.
If these parameters is missing or not supported, you will not be able to turn the VT

  • Satellite Pro L500 - how to turn on hardware virtualization?

    Hello

Please can someone tell me how to activate it? I have updated the BIOS to 1.9 and still can not see as an option? Secureable tells me that this cell phone it will work, but it's off!

    Thank you very much

    Hi nickcrush,

Hardware virtualization isn't according to the version of the BIOS, the question is if your CPU support this feature.

Satellite Pro L500 are equipped with different s CPU, so I recommend the Intel page. Check the details of your CPU if it takes support this feature or not.

  • 23 - d030 looking for hardware virtualization assisted in the bios configurations envy

Office all-in - One HP Envy TouchSmart 23-d030

    WIN8 Pro 64 bit (improved win8)
    BIOS: LA3_810.ROM 8.10

I need to enable "hardware assisted virtualization" in the bios, but there is no parameters (that I can find) to do. Yes, I went through the security settings in the bios. I ran MS CoreInfo.exe and the computer is good for the VHA and LATTE. DEP is good as well (checked via Control Panel............ System properties). Hyper-V is enabled in the operating system. Is there some 'hidden' attributes that I don't see in the bios?

FYI the point of this is that I'm trying to get phone win8 emulator to run.

    Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the reply and the problem lies, I only have the setting for Vtx/Vtd, who is disabled because it must be determined in accordance with the documentation of MS (in my case). I don't have the DEP setting. Now just for S & G I activated the setting and guess what... the phone emulator worked! Maybe in the bios I have they rolled up a number of things in a setting, I can only guess. But it does not work so I'll close this. Thanks for the help.

  • Enable hardware virtualization?

I have a TouchSmart IQ507 I believe, model type dual-core Core 2 Duo.  So, how can I enable hardware virtualization in the bios, because there is no option for this?  Running virtual machines is like a dog on this machine because I can't enabled hardware feature.

    You are right;

    http://www.Intel.com/products/processor/Core2Duo/Mobile/specifications.htm

All models of T5x50 lack virtualization.

    I have the T5850

    http://processorfinder.Intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLA4C

OK, time for a new issue, then, well technically 2.

Will be the support of iq507 intel chips T7xx running at 667 mhz?  T7400, T7200 and T7600 I know the bios must support them of course, but the 2 main issues that could stop them being usable is the thermal specification is 100 c instead of 85 C and voltage range is 1.0375 - 1.30V instead of 1.075V - 1.175V for the motherboard must provide a higher voltage, the cooling system must be able to handle the higher dissipation , and the needs of the total power supply.

Question 2, if I go to one of them, then I will have enabled virtualization?

  • How do I activate hardware acceleration for playing solitaire?

Before playing Solitaire, a screen to make sure that hardware acceleration is turned on. How can I do this?

Well, I have just explained how you enable hardware acceleration.  If there is no such setting in display properties and then it is not available (or is already at full throttle, and didn't need adjustment).  If you have questions about how the game can give you this message when you cannot set hardware acceleration on your system, I recommend that you contact Support technique Dell for an explanation.  Maybe there is another way on their system to activate hardware acceleration or maybe this message appear on all systems with the game installled if is possible to adjust the hardware acceleration.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    1. If the computer can be started in a safe mode command prompt, do.

    2. at the command prompt, type this command exactly (space, caps and comma are required):

    Rundll32.exe syssetup, SetupOobeBnk

    3. restart.

If you did it, your activation grace period will have been reset, giving you more time to work on the problem.

You should then post a MGADiag report, so that we can see what is the problem.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.

  • I moved my hard drive to another computer and once connected to windows told me that I need to activate windows?

Once logged into windows, it tells me that I need to activate windows. I click Yes to activate and it tells me that windows is already activated, click OK and it returns me to my log in page over and over. Why? and what to do about it?

Because you are allowed to install and activate Windows on ONE computer and product activation has now determined that you try to use the installation on another computer.  If it is a retail version of Windows XP and if you move the installation to new hardware call Microsoft and explain the problem.  If it is an OEM version, like a Dell or HP installation and if you move it to another computer that you are to the top of the Creek with this, you are not allowed to move an installation OEM on another computer, it is linked to the computer on which it was sold with and he will die with this computer.

  • Hardware virtualization n H8-1230

I recently bought a h8-1230 desktop PC.  Everything on it works pretty darn good, and I am satisfied with everything except for one thing.  That one thing is proving to be a big problem though.  I do almost all my work inside virtual machines (because the OS needs to be in a controlled environment), and I can't seem to find a way allow the AMD - V updates to go hardware virtualization.  I searched the internet high and low, but I can't seem to find anything useful.

Without it, the computer is super slow and unusable.  The processor is an AMD FX FX-6120 and supposedly supports it, according to the specifications.  My guess is that the feature is not enabled in the BIOS, but I'm not 100% sure.

Is it possible to obtain a permit?  If I can't get that, then I may return the computer and get a new one.  I'm sorry to be a maniac on this subject, because it is also a good product, but it's a product that I can't really use at all.

    If this can help:

    Model No.: H8-1230
OS: Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition

Virtualization software: Oracle VM VirtualBox (4.1.18) - latest version

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion HPE h8-1230 , and is the card mother M3970AM-HP (Angelica2). Based on this document to the BIOS settings for HP Angelica/Angelica2 motherboards, BIOS VT (virtualization technology) option setting is under the security > security of the system as shown below.
