Need to clean the OS installation but with no disc

I have a gateway desktop that I have to do a new installation of Windows XP Professional. I have misplaced my disc but the product key of the sticker that was placed on the computer. Can I download a trial version of XP Pro and then sign up for the product key I have? Suggestions other that find the disc?

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s XP set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

What can I do?

Do not. He didn't need it and even if you deleted 1000 things from him (doubtful) it would make little or no impact on performance.

If you don't understand the registry enough to know what to erase manually or how to add things yourself, etc. - using a tool that almost arbitrarily find the things that are supposed to be orphaned or not necessary and confidence (for some reason any) can lead to a system of death.

If you just * have to * ("it's a moral imperative") and then use that integrated with CCleaner. I generally recommend not even consider using its registry "cleaning" component - but in the many times I used to analyze and find things and go through them manually before I remove them (at least - I've seen ~ 250 entries, he suggested to get rid of and even in this case, my manual check led me to delete all and there was no adverse) I didn't it go wrong. If you * MUST * do it, use it and save your changes, so you might be able to roll back. Before do you all - make sure your backups are in order.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
2. click on the System Restore tab.
3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
-Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

I need to format the hard drive but don't have the windows vista disc to reinstall, but have had the key code that vista was preinstalled do I have to buy a new drive for vista

Hello

How to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

• Copy a few lines in the same table, but with different IDS

Hi all
I had this problem... I have a table with its pk (which is a sequence). With a statement select, I extract a few lines, and then I would record in the same table, but with IDS different (obviously eheheh).

I don't know how to do...

Thks for all help ;)

p.s. I want to change some fields in lines before saving as well... don't know how do it more...

example:

ID NAME TYPE
1 ferrari car
2 cars lamborghini

I'm trying to copy the second and changing its type in "BMW".

I could result:

1 ferrari car
2 cars lamborghini
3 bmw cars

Thank you

Assuming that your table is named cars_tb and the cars_seq of the sequence.

insert into cars_tb
select cars_seq.nextval, name, type
from cars_tb

This would overlap with any existing lines, but with a new id.

If you want to duplicate a specific line and change a value, you could do something like:

insert into cars_tb
select cars_seq.nextval, name, 'BMW'
from cars_tb
where type = 'lamborghini'

or better, use the PK

insert into cars_tb
select cars_seq.nextval, name, 'BMW'
from cars_tb
where id = 2

Hello

Recovery files are normally hidden in the Windows Explorer, so it wouldn't be a problem - the only way you can be sure that it works or not is to try it.

If you find that it does not work, you can order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below and use them to reinstall the OS.

• Need to maintain the icon in line with end of line to write on behavior

Need to keep an icon that is aligned with the end of the line of movement 5 write on behavior

I used speed custom behavior to write on to keep the time between specific waypoints proportionally compared to the times of real satellite data. However, I can't understand a simple way to get the icons to move at the same speed as the write on behavior.

This video shows how they sometimes go ahead and sometimes behind.

https://youtu.be/jVz9aGIwnEE

For D24, I used the behavior of trajectory, with the selected geometry and the Bézier path that I used to write it on the behavior in the well. I used markers for the correct waypoint times. Then I used the customized calendar for the end of the line for the behavior of writing to hit points of interest at the right times.

For D25 I just use keyframes to the waypoints. Can I add image key intermediary to make things line up OK but it is very tedious to do.

Is there an easier way to get the icons and write them on the behavior to align correctly, or another behavior or any other method I should use to do this? I have some valuable experience with video editing so I might well do something very basic the wrong way.

may I suggest a different approach?

Start with your icon (somehow remembers me a bird of Pray Klingon, sorry)

Animate: Press REC, playhead set at time index, move the position icon...

Thus, icon bird moves exactly at each x / y and precise at the time...

Now, create a new group "Trail", paint a small circle, make a particle

now, Magic 1st part:

Set rate of high birth, 300, 500, 1000... determines the "softness" of the line trail

the life value max

set the speed to zero - we do not want a cloud of points...

Finally, Magic pt 2:

Link group (behavior) the Position of the track to your bird...

In doing so, the transmitter following the bird - and leaves a trail behind it:

• What should I do if I need to disable the block add but I need it desperately for Youtube?

I got a warning on my Tumblr, saying I have to disable an extension for all of the Add-ons on Xensemble to work properly. The problem is that I really want to disable the block add that it is so helpful and I really need. Is there another way to get xensemble to work, but with block adds still in use?

You can create a filter to not enable Adblock Plus on tumblr, which should avoid this.

• Satellite T130-11 t - need to clean the D partition and increase partition C

Hi all
This is my first post and Im not a grumpy so apologies in advance. Ive tried searching the Internet for help with this but cant get long, it is therefore proposed that post.

I have a Satellite T130-11 t which has 232 GB HDD. Setting it up as 2 drives, C and D with 116 GB on each. The C drive is complete, but its probably just photos / movies so I can solve that by copying the external hard disk, but the D drive is roughly the same.

Ive looked at the directory and under HDD recovery it is a subfolder called swing and inside are 8 x .srm extensions and 2 x crc files, are all of 2009.

Files take about 8Gb and I can't delete them as it says I should do so under SYSTEM - the operating system is in German so Im a little hesitant exaclty, what the problem is - and systemfile nervous deletion.

Drive D but has more than 90 GB of info - when I click on drive D in Windows Explorer, it does not at all look like, there are all large files it. Could there be some hidden files not seen Im?

Performance is very slow and I want to save or delete/reformat the drive D to drain - any ideas how to clean my D drive please and ideally reduce its size and move some of the allocation of memory on the C drive without losing my data already on C?

I understand forums that the HARD drive is a recovery file, but should take only about 10 GB cannot so I a C of say 200 GB and 30 GB on D drive?

Yet once I don't want to corrupt or lose all data already C

Also when I start it, a message informs you that there are missing files in the directorym LOCAL smply disappeared.

Thanks in advance

MArk

My first question is: did you create a recovery (DVD or USB) media? If Yes, you can use this media for any new OS install when you want. With other words, you can delete all the partition recovery D if you want, but in my opinion you should not do this. If these recovery files are still there you will also be able to use the HARD drive recovery facility.

> Drive C is full, but its probably a few photos / movies so I can solve that by copying on the external hard drive...
Fix.
>.. but the D drive is substantially the same. Ive looked at the directory and under HDD recovery it is a subfolder called swing and inside are 8 x .srm extensions and 2 x crc files, are all of 2009.
This file belongs to the original recovery image. More or less 10GB isn't a big deal. Leave it as it is.
> Could it be Im not see hidden files?
It is not easy to say, because we do not know how your laptop is configured and what files should be saved on the D partition. What you can try is to open the control panel > folder options > view > and check for hidden files and folders. Choose the option Show hidden... files and check again the D partition.
> Also when I start it, a message informs you that there are missing files in the directorym LOCAL smply disappeared.
In my opinion, nothing can simply disappeared.
I think you should check them all, back up all of your important and after data makes this OS install using original recovery image. After that do you have own OS preinstalled, portable will have better performance and also, I think that you will be happy again.

• I have a power shot sx HS 40 & need information about the use of filters with this camera? Thank you ~.

I have a power shot sx 40 & would like information on the use of filters with this device?

Thank you ~.

Hi Rainlily,

You will need the # model Canon adapter filter f-DC67A to use filters on this camera, which costs about $25.00. Bower makes one for about $9.00 available in B & H and Bower products work well with the Canon. This adapter uses 67 mm filters. If you have not yet all filters, I would recommend Hoya or Tiffen filters as they are of high quality at reasonable prices. Do not get the expensive filters because in general they can cause color casts that may be difficult to view the process on. Have fun!
