Need to flv video to stop once loaded

Hi, I created a document that has 3 buttons. When everyone is pressed action happens... loads a movie, jumps to the next section, plays the video. The problem I have is when I click on the button image, my video playback and stays. The film should play only when the movie button is selected, and then deleted when you press another.

It may be possible to indicate to the video controller to stop once loaded, but I do not know the command. The way the movie is imported, the controllers are integrated in the wrapper, but I don't know how to stop playback of the movie.

Any ideas? As much detail as poss please! My film is called movie.flv, but the instance is called vid.

You must explicitly stop your video stream when you navigate away from portfolio.

If you are using a component flvplayback, you can use the removedfromstage event to trigger this action.

Disconnect all external devices from the computer and try to restart the computer and check what is happening.

Step 1:

Try to boot to the desktop in safe mode and check what is happening. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. Insertion of FLV videos which allow students to start and stop any where

I am inserting the flv videos that students must be able to start and stop anywhere, and when the video gets to the end, the student click on the button NEXT to go to the next slide.
As long as the student allows playback of the video without interruption, the button NEXT appears at the end.
The problem I have is that everything works except the button FOLLOWING does not appear at the end of the video, unless the button NEXT is visible for the duration of the video is.
If the button IS visible all the while that the display of the video, the student is able to skip the video without looking.
I need the students access to the entire video as part of the course.
Is this possible?

Here is what happened.

I did what you suggested. I also had to insert another Widget playback bar to allow the student to stop the video and restart in a different position. The problem is that the student can stll drag the cursor in the horizontal position at the end of the video, and spend the rest of the video if they want to.

What I had to do was to show only the playback bar near the end of the tail of the video to allow the student to maniplulate the position of the video if they want to replay one somewhere else. If they don't do anything, the video will automatically switch to the next slide.

photos. I tried the fix as tools of Microsoft without success. Also, I ran the troubleshooting

program and it detected that my library was corrupted, I tried to solve this problem by following the instructions of

I m create scorm packages in captivate. The source, I got to the MP4 format that I convert FLV files. I loaded these FLV files on slides in captivate. In this way, I create the scorm package using parameters of scorm 1.2.
Problem: I've loaded the scorm LMS package and tested. It takes more time to load the files at the usual time. I can reduce this time somehow? I know video needs a buffering time, but if there is no way to reduce this time - it would be a great help.

Hi Vikas,

The time it takes is due to the size of the project and the load on bandwidth on your side.

Basically, you need to reduce the size of your package. So do what encoding your FLV videos to a smaller size using Adobe Media Encoder. And then add to the slide and re - publish the SCORM package.

Tip: While encoding, maintain the level as basic or low and target bit rate as being less as possible, it would appear you are the expected file size to the below, when you use the custom encoding settings.

Problem adding FLV video to an actionscript 3.0 file

Hi I'm new to Flash, and I try to add a second 20 long FLV video to a script file 3.0 of action in order to place an animation during this video import. The video is my dog run and I want to animate a sprite in a layer on top of that to make it look as if the sprite is on the heels of my dog. Is this really possible? I tried to import the video into the file, but the video does not play it just shows screenshot one of the video during preview for all the time he plays and when I try to preview the video in an own window, it cannot load it, it freezes just then loading (the program not crushed by the loading bar crashes).
Any thoughts on where I'm wrong or what I could try or if this idea is feasible using flash professional CS5.5 and my laptop has more capabilities proposed by Adobe for the software?

If you want to have a type of interaction or layer on the video, you must import the .flv in the main scenario where he will play frame by frame... do not use the FLVPlayback component.

iOS 10 video playback stops working until you restart

I have an iPad Mini retina, and since the upgrade to iOS 10.0.01, a short period of use causes videos to stop working.

Videos in Safari, Chrome, YouTube etc. appear in the cache (saturated with progress on the top bar), but no response to play. The first image of a video appears, but only in the form of static image. I am able to change the static image displayed by rubbing them at any point in the video, but playback will not occur.

The only thing that allows video playback is again restart the device (apps force closing, locking and unlocking etc. doesn't help).

I understand from your post that you're having trouble playing videos on your iPad mini; the video will start but will be stuck as a single image, as if the buffering and never take back (at least until you restart). I mainly use my iPad for watching videos, so I know it's important that they play in fact; I'm happy to help you!

I have some troubleshooting I can offer to you. Before you begin, create a backup of your iPad using iCloud or iTunes, following the instructions here: How to back up your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

Once you have your backup, try the following steps, in order. A video test after each step and will stop when the problem is resolved.

If it's the windows index service you can turn it off via the admin tools Control Panel.

If it's a third party indexing service, you may need to disable the program by clicking on the Start button > run > msconfig > Startup tab

How can I control a FLV video using exhibit main bar (not FLV skin)?

I need to have the ability to play/pause a FLV video on a slide with the bar of main games. Research showed me that in previous versions, there is a checkbox "synchronize with project" which allowed this. I don't find this in version 8. Is there another way to do this?

GAL/jumping images when executing 3 flv videos Netstream.

Why do I not Lagie jump video images during the use of Flash CS5 and 3 flv videos Netstream. If I play only 2 videos they work well. It is not a CPU or memory reaches max. Videos are for download locally (cached anyway).
