Network cable unplugged, the Panel grey adapter after removal of Fusion to a new mac

I can't "solve this problem.

A couple of months, I moved to a new iMac (end 2013) and the network in Fusion stopped working.

Windows (XP) says: "network cable unplugged".

Merge network adapter control says it has allowed (part that my mac is turned on), but the Panel is disabled, grayed out.

I tried to change to full NAT, but mothing changed.

Since then I upgraded Fusion 6 an update of version minor and improved Fusion 7, but the problem is still there.

In the knowledge base, I found something similar, called other products VMWare, who suggested that the problem might be in the configuration of the network of Mac, but I am not sure where; and, in any case, S.O. and configuration and even got on the older iMac, where everything worked fine.

I'm quite often connected to a VNC using Tunnelblick, but I tried to turn it off and the problem is still there. (And even once, on the old Mac it worked great even through VNC).

Any suggestion?

After asking the VMWare Support they suggested merge to uninstall and reinstall from scratch. It worked.

  • Startup gets "Network cable unplugged" on (new) wireless mini-PCI card

    Repost in the previous topic was locked, but has not been resolved. Original post below, please see previous post for more details

    I recently installed a Netgear DG834GT wireless router and now have intermittent problems connecting my Tecra 9100. If the 9100 has been off for awhile (like overnight), when I restart I get always "Network cable unplugged" for the wireless connection. Reboot several times (anything from 3 upwards) I finally get connected to the router and everything then works fine for hours. Even a quick restart at this point (that is, once that the wireless adapter is connected) does not cause a problem, but as soon as I leave the stop of the machine during a time he fails again on restart.

    There are no errors in the event log.

    I am using wireless mini-PCI cards and have already updated to the latest version of the driver.

    Any ideas gratefully received, for now every morning is a 20 to 30 minutes of rebooting frustration trying to get my connection work.

    Hello

    I have the same problem if I stand for laptop and access point at the same time. If the access point is already in use, the connection is established shortly after. First the access point must establish a connection to the modem. Now the wireless connection is not available.

    I guess after the second reboot, the connection between the AP and the modem is already finished and you can use the network wireless successfully.

    Good bye

    Hello

    As far as I know, the unplugged network cable message just for LAN (Local Area connection-LAN) and not wireless.

    If you want to check this map to disable LAN in Device Manager. After starting the laptop turn on the wireless card, check the status using the FN + F8 key combination. Wi - Fi is activated after a short time, you should be able to use your wireless network.

    You can enable the option Show icon in notification area when connected. You can find it in the properties of wireless under the general tab.

  • Laserjetpro m252dw: printer says network cable unplugged when plugged into a wall outlet

    My printer worked fine and all of a sudden, he is no longer prints and the display shows: "network cable unplugged".

    I turned off the printer, it is plugged. Does the same thing for the modem and the router. The problem is not resolved. Help, please

    Hi @Kajosil,

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

    I understand that you are unable to print because of this "unplugged network cable" error message on your HP LaserJet Pro M252dw Color printer. I will definitely do my best to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and mark "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

    It seems that the printer does not have enough power to work properly, or there is a problem with the cable/port.

    • Please click here to update the firmware of the printer.

    Make sure that the ethernet cable is connected to the appropriate port on the back of the printer.
    See the section: 'Return product view' in the user manual for more information.

    • Have you tried another port on the router?
    • Have you tried another ethernet cable?
    • Check if the cable is damaged or deformed.

    If the problem persists, I would like to do a hard reset and electric drain to see if this will solve the problem.

    • To eliminate other causes, unplug the USB cable or telephone (fax) for the test so attached.
    1. Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    2. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual electric load and then release the power button.
    3. Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
    4. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a bar or a surge protector).
    5. Try another outlet to power/room.
    6. Try a different compatible power cable.

    If the problem persists, I would try resetting the NVRAM. This will outline the printer back to the default settings. The network must be configured again. I can send you this information in a private message. In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

    I hope this information is useful. Please reply to this message with the results. Good luck!

  • How to check defective R50e caused by the Panel or the cable of the Panel?

    It's been long that I couldn't see my windows on the screen. I have to hook it up to an external monitor to display the content in my windows. Everything works well except the Panel screen does not display anything, but only dull black screen. It is more under warranty and I do not extend the warranty at all because it is old enough. In addition, I already have more recent laptop Y410. I just want to know if I can fix it by myself, rather than putting this side into dust lol

    How to check if this is the faulty Panel or it is caused by the cable of the Panel? I have to keep count when perform you a health check?

    your backlight on the screen has failed, you need to replace the LCD itself.

  • Network cable unplugged, but I promise you that's not!

    I connect my computer to my Linksys router (this computer will not connect wirelessly).  Unfortunately, my computer thinks that the network cable is unplugged.  Let me give a few details before you continue!

    Router: Linksys WRT54GL v1.1, with the firmware update

    Ethernet card: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (with up-to-date drivers)

    Computer OS: Windows 7 64-bit

    And now for the fun part.  First of all, I thought it was a bad ethernet cable, so I tried another and another still.  The cable doesn't seem to be the problem.

    Secondly, I thought it might well be my ethernet card.  I plugged the ethernet cable from my modem cable directly on my ethernet card and was instantly rewarded with a connection.  With this, I noticed that my ethernet card is not the problem.

    Third, I thought, well, it must be the router.  I tried all four ports on the back of the router to see if it was bad.  None of them worked.  The router shows not all lights for ports 1, 2, 3 or 4, regardless of where I plug. Progress!  Of course, it is the router, no?  In order to ensure, I ran a cable ethernet to the router to a laptop and has been awarded once more with a connection.  If the router is not the problem.

    After doing some reading here and abroad, I have reduced my 'speed and Duplex"to 10 Mbps half Duplex.  Who has not solved the problem.

    Any help would be immensely appreciated, because I'm quite frustrated.  Please let me know if I can provide more information for you.  Thank you in advance for your help!

    My friend is a very nice person and so is his first wife. I get along with two of them very well, but they have been quarreling all the time while they were married. They are now divorced and married to new partners and the two relations are developing.

    What this has to do with your problem? Well, your systematic troubleshooting effort eliminated all the simple causes of failure but it has not examined the issues of compatibility. I suspect that NETWORK card in your PC is just out of tolerance or is your router. Other devices can be a little more tolerant (as new friends partners), but together they won't work. How to test this? Here are a few options:

    (a) borrow a switch/router of different brand of a friend.

    (b) connect the two PCs on a switch that is not the same brand as your router, and then plug the switch on the router.

  • Wrong message "Network cable unplugged"

    I bought a LAN cable to return to a cable after a while using wifi network. Windows argues that cable is not plugged in when it is.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
    nForce 630 a/7025

    Things that did not work I tried:

    * The relocation of all necessary cables.
    * Deactivation/activation of the adapter of "network connections."
    * ipconfig/release and / renew.
    * Power cycling the PC.
    * Power cycling PC, get out the power cable for a minute.
    * Power cycling the router.
    * Turn off all sleep on the adapter and power saving options.
    * Check the BIOS settings.
    * Check for IRQ conflicts.
    * Uninstall and then reinstall the drivers from the motherboard to the latest version of the seller (15.49)
    * Disable DHCP and asking a fixed IP address.
    * Setting the speed to 10/100 half/full duplex instead of auto-negotiation.
    * Safe mode with network.

    Things that work:
    * Same cable, same router, different PC port.
    * Same cable, even router port, same PC, but running Ubuntu.

    I can ping localhost, but not the router. The property page says "this device is functioning correctly. All this suggests it's a problem of driver somewhere, but I'm at a loss on what remains to be seen.

    An update - uninstalling the driver, removing the nVidia driver and using the default driver provided by Microsoft seem to work. It is really a work-around, however, as there may be problems further down the line with the help of a former pilot. I just hope the that Windows Update does not automatically install new version behind my back at one point.
