GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING "DELL WIRELESS WLAN CARD WIRELESS NETWORK CONTROLLER STOPPED WORKING AND WAS CLOSED" AND NEED TO FIX. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Hello

Actually try updating your driver and check with Dell Support and Forums if necessary.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Unable to connect to the network and wireless interface does not appear in ipconfig/all on Vista32

My niece has a laptop of HP under vista32 who cannot access the network wirelessly or wired.  She is in College and needs the laptop on the network as soon as possible for his class work.  I tried to reload the driver wireless driver (Atheros AR5007 b/g) and reset the tcp/ip stack using the command netsh addressed in the microsoft article, but nothing works.

I brought the laptop to work where we have an unsecured wireless lan (called comments) for visitors and the laptop can go out and find all points of access wireless including comments.  When I select the comments and try to connect it times out and tells me to watch driver and tcp/ip connections.

Another clue may be that the wireless card does not appear when I type ' ipconfig/all', or the adapter wireless and wired adapters are not displayed:

In the case where somone has this same question, I wanted to post my final resolution of the problem. I backed up its data and restored the laptop to factory default using HP restore and now everything works fine.  Better I would say loading Zone Alarm on Vista was a bad thing for my niece to do.  Would have been nice to find a magical solution to avoid restoring but never found one.  Even after the alarm zone using their instructions by removing completely, there was apparently a problem with the registry who wouldn't let networks are working properly.  One thing I noticed after that the restoration was the HP Wireless Assistant poped up and told me about available networks, etc.  Assistant wireless didn't pop-up at all whne the cell was dismantled so maybe assistant was broken?  Well, I'm out...

  • Where can I download the network drivers / wireless for my Satellite Pro L300?

    Hello.

I reformatted my laptop from Windows Vista to Windows XP Professional SP3 and it never came with the network drivers / wireless to connect to the Internet.

I tried to go on the Web from Toshiba site, which is the manufacturer of the laptop, but when you type in my model that is pslb9e-02v003en (L300-1FJ) it basically says that there is no such thing.

I also tried to Google it but had a real hard time to his research... Where can I find my network/Wireless drivers so my laptop can detect my internet! Help, please!

I ve checked the download page of Toshiba and support for Windows XP Home edition.
I found the driver LAN here.
WLAN driver can be downloaded from the Toshiba WLAN portal - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

Your laptop has Realtek WLAN card so please download Realtek WLAN driver Toshiba WLAN on download page.

I hope this will help you.

  • Network with wireless bridge and Repeater cable

    Hello

I'm about to set up a network composed of 3 routers. The first router R1 is in the basement of my house, the second router R2 is on the first floor and the third router R3 is on the second floor. My goal is to have a single network in the House full (no subnetting) and wifi available at the 1. and 2. floor - so that I can spend on these two floors with no disturbance.

R1 connects to the ISP. R1 is a DHCP server for the local network. It has the IP 192.168.0.1 and creates the 192.168.0.0 network. All devices on the network should have an IP address in the range of 192.168.0.1 - 254. WiFi is turned off. It should be possible to connect a wired switch, then the computers to the switch.

R2 has a wired to R1. R2 should work as a wireless access point. DHCP on the router must be switched off. Units to connect to this access point should get their IP address from the DHCP server on R1 (or they have a static IP address).

R3 is a Repeater that extends the network R2 wireless.

My question - what type of routers must choose which supported this configuration (R1, R2, R3))? In particular, I don't know how to configure R2 and R3.

The routers are DHCP server that manages the network IP address. If you connect two routers, you disable the DHCP server on the 2nd router and set up as a simple access point whose IP address is within the range of the main router (cascaded via LAN to LAN), or you can change the IP address of the router 2nd at a different range and keep its active DHCP server (cascading through the LAN to WAN).

Here is an article that would explain it better:

  • question of M175nw network connection wireless home

I can't configure my printer using the Setup Wizard to connect wirlessly to my home network. I tried on a Windows PC and a MACBook without success.

Printing and scanning works very well when it is connected via a USB cable.  When you run the Setup Wizard, I chose the auto connect wireless HP.  While the printer is connected via USB, it can not find a printer set up.  The wheel of the State keeps just spinning.

    Hi njphil,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I understand that you are unable to set up the printer on the wireless network.

I'll be happy to help you.

Make sure that the two computers are on the same network.

I have provided a lot of steps to set up the wireless thanks to direct wireless configuration that will allow then to print wireless on both computers. This is the simplest method.

On the printer, press the setup button, the Setup menu (key) and select network, select wireless menu, select direct wireless and turn it on.

On a Mac, go to the airport in the upper part of the screen and select the name of the network printer in the list. Wait for about 1 minute.
Then, open Safari and type the IP address (192.168.223.1) of the printer in the address bar.
This will load the web server integrated for the printer.
Select the networking, Wi - Fi on the left side.
Fill in all your information network, select infrastructure, select the name of your network, set password and encryption type.
    Apply the settings.

    Wait a few minutes.
Should have a flashing light sound wireless to the printer.

Return to the airport, and then select the name of your network.

If the software is already installed on the Mac, then go to the Apple system, print and scan preferences.
Click on the + to select the printer.
Make sure that shows the name of the printer and not the driver Airprint.
    Click on Add.

    Now test the printer.

On the computer Windows you can now restart the cd or you can go to start, devices and printers, across the top of the page, select Add a printer, and then run the wizard to complete the installation of the printer on the computer.

    Test the printer now.

I think that this will provide a solution to your problem. Thank you.

  • VM XP not connect wirelessly with the home network or wireless printers

I'll start with the problem and ask anyone and I'll fill in what information (drivers, programs, etc.) are required to complete the problem and I hope that we will find a solution together!

I have Windows 7 64-bit (professional course) and it was installed with the Office of the virtual XP computer 2 years ago. It runs in a SONY laptop VAIO VPCS111FM, with core i5 model. Seagate 500 GB HARD drive. 2.5 GHz, 4.0 GB of RAM.

The problem is that all the other computers I have (running XP, Mac, iPad, etc.) are all able to connect wireless internet and printing using the home router (Mac Airport Express) (yes I know right way was the other way around, but too late, too much money and time spent in the wrong direction). Windows 7 of course works in the laptop for two HP printers wireless, but not the XP Virtual Machine. Nothing can be printed off the coast of the XP to every CV (6500 has more (too advanced in any case) or the printer HP Officejet 8500 wireless.

Of course, you know why I'm here. Help SONY expired, Best Buy, which has installed the purchase and we admit, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and also installed the Office XP (it's their very very first download this system, because I know they spent over an hour on the phone with Microsoft (I had to prove that I was, the owner, before they would talk to Best Buy)) , installation and there is 2 years back and they always say nothing is wrong and we will charge for the search under the name of all the guarantees and free assistance have expired. Of course the last wrinkle is that Microsoft is now in charge me $100 just to answer the question of why his doesn't like his "XP" and even if its share of Windows 7! its still "XP" and gets load!

HP was great and discovered that the IP Code starts by (if all goes well to say don't compromise the first three digits protection WEP ISP we have 192 for the XP VM, while everything (including MAC and iPad) everything starts with...) 10.! and have done all these years, we have had the system wireless installed (since 2004).

Can someone help me get my XP connected wireless? What's wrong? What is missing?

Furthermore, the Ethernet card is this green icon and no question mark or anything in the XP VM except 5 weird listed as "other devices." In Device Manager is NICs: Intel 21140 - based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (generic). In the section "Other devices" are: 5 copies of 'Virtual PC intégration Device' air conditioned and have question marks still under "Properies" and "Device status" all say "this device is working properly" no clue as to why mark her quesiton showing! Sequel to "Troubleshooting" only me ends with "contact the manufacturer or installer etc., which means significant costs because there is no more free ride or ensure the installation after 2 years!

    I hope this helps everyone!

If I install a program that requires the Internet it can NOT find the internet on its own! (i.e. put HP program or other small program that I tried to install my XP needs the 'internet' else to register before using it!).

BUT THANKS to YOU all! While searching for information complete this application I hit the tab of "USB" top XP VM and unknown device (my DVD?) and HP 8500 printer could be installed via "USB" so at least for the FIRST TIME in 2 years they are printing and working on the USB cable! This isn't a separate DVD, but the one inside the laptop. Sometimes, it works on the XP desktop, most of the time I navigate the DVD disk and force the autorun from running by using "RUN" in the start menu. I still don't know what happens if I spell (or close safely) the peripheral attached USB (printer) or if it will tie next time without putting in place (he has created four more settings of printer/fax machine (series 2!) on my list of printers.) I don't know what is happening, but its nice to see a page out of the "Notepad"or "wordpad" for the first time in two years! ".

Now, all I need is to happen wireless!

Thanks to all who read this far! Great thanks to all those who wish to help!

  • HP Pavilion g7-2004sd suitable for implementing SSD caching and upgrade ethernet card

I intend to buy the laptop mentioned above, which comes with a 750 GB (5400 RPM) HDD, Windows 7 64-bit operating system.

To make programs run faster, I want to do an upgrade of SSD with the Intel SSD 313 caching.

The store where I buy the laptop does not support this, but I was told that the standard HP warranty is not null when done elsewhere. My question what is the best choice for caching, for example 20 GB (by the Intel SSD 313) or by implementing caching of Corsair SSD 60 GB, assuming that, on the motherboard, there is a space for installation of the caching.

Is it also possible to upgrade the ethernet card and replace the default map with this one:

    Intel WiFi 300Mbps (6235 N) + Bluetooth 2.1, 2, 1 + EDR, 3.0, 3.0 + HS, 4.0 (WHEAT) (dual 2.4 Ghz & 5.0 Ghz band)

to make the WiFi works best when more than one user.

To be honest, I'm not sure that this system will support the caching of the WSSD.  Pagedownload of systems that caching of the WSSD to support have usually a driver Intel RST available under chipset on the software and drivers.  This feature is generally reserved for the final product lines more high as ultrabooks and some Envy laptops.

Page 41 of this guide lists the available wlan modules that will work in this book.  If it is not in this list and was not ordered to HP, then the wlan card will not work.

To be honest, looks like a Ultrabook as is this a more of what you are looking for because it comes with a cache of WSSD drive.  It does not list the technical details, but it appears when the customization of the laptop and it is not removable during the configuration of the laptop.
