    Hello

What kind of Webcam do you use? It's active USB or WI - FI enabled?

If you are using active USB webcam, then you can share the webcam just like other USB devices. However if you try to take pictures or make the video of yours in a remote with Webcam sharing enabled so that used is possible. The focus of the webcam cannot be shared. Objects must also be in front of the goal of webcams.

Follow the same steps with the Webcam and see if you can share the webcam.

  • Disconnecting from the network home

Win 7 I have a stand-alone computer (not other computers) with a USB - connected printer and a connection to a modem (without router) via a network (?) (not USB) cable.  I have no other computers or printers.  Win 7 connected me to a network home, maybe because my printer is compatible with wireless (but I have no WiFi - or interest in functionality).  If I disconnect the home network I lose the internet connections or printer?

My apologies but I found your statement at the opening a bit confusing.

Your home network is connected to the modem, a local area network, and is a type of HOME that helps your computer share with a reliable source, connected to your modem/router.

A HOME network is essentially the default setting...

A PUBLIC network limited with any computer that can be attached to your router/modem to share files.

If your printer is connected via a USB cable, disconnect from the network will NOT affect the communications between your computer and the printer and the printer will do what you expect it to do.

However, you will lose Internet you disable the network connection.

  • Don't go DVD player on desktop Pc windows 7 network home for computer laptop windows 8

Desktop PC to Windows 7 with DVD player, I want to share on my network home wifi with my new windows laptop 8 who doesn't have a DVD player. I went to control panel to set the sharing but sharing was gray.

    Hi Susan,.

The sharing option is grayed out, it is because it is not possible to share a DVD player on your system through a wireless network.

You can buy an external DVD drive that connects via a USB port to use on the laptop Windows 8.

  • My printers they are in offline mode. How to reconnect to them on our network home?

My printers they are in offline mode. How to reconnect to them on our network home?

    Hello

What is the brand and model of the printer?

    Method 1:

First of all I suggest you run the troubleshooter and check if that helps.

    For more information visit http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter

    Method 2:

You can also try the troubleshooting steps in the link below.

The new status of the printer is "offline" after you remove a print queue and then restart a Windows computer

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2027593

To do: Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

How to back up and restore the registry in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322756

    Method 3:

I suggest you to follow the steps and check.

    (a) open the start menu and click on the "devices and printers". This will open a window with a list of the printers currently installed on your computer.

    (b) double-click the icon of the printer that you want to change online. The status of the printer appears in the form "printer: Ready" or "printer: offline.".

    (c) click on "printer: offline" and the menu of the printer. Click on "Printer" in the menu bar and uncheck "Use printer offline." This action will change the printer from offline to online mode.

  • Setting up a network home

Have Express.would Airporat 2011 as some advice concerning the establishment of a new home network, updated in a new home.

Unfortunately, not much information to go here, so we ask a few questions before we can begin to formulate a response.

This modem you will use with the AirPort Express?

Where will the Express located in your House?

The wireless devices you normally use will be located close to the AirPort Express Terminal?

If this isn't the case, you plan to use more of an AirPort Express base station or other AirPort routers?

You want coverage wireless anywhere in the House?

If so, what is home?  How many floors?  What type of construction?

Will you use the Air iPad you list in your profile to set up the Express?

If no, what device did you intend to use to put in place the Express?

Perhaps another thing to consider is that the average lifetime of an AirPort Express is approximately 3-4 years and that your model is 5 +. Things may be OK and maybe not with the model you have, but it is reason, so a new Express isn't far away.

Bearing in mind that we do not know as much about the layout and the construction of your House that you can tell us, can you think of any other information that you could provide to help us provide the best advice for you?  For example, a user who has recently published neglected to mention at the beginning that the walls in her new home were make cement, and when it installed its new wireless router, there was virtually no signal coverage outside the room where the router.

I get the message "Cannot connect to AP" Please check your setting & try again.

I noticed that the Mac address on the back of the router (a Technicolor TG582n) and one identified by the TV are different by 1 digit at the end of the address - this could be the problem?

Thanks in advance for any help.
