  Try this if you do not have

  Windows Explorer to create the folders and shortcuts in your document folder, drag and drop them on your desktop.

  If you have completed the steps and was not even useful,

  Follow these steps:

  Try to create a shortcut and sending it on the desktop.

  (1) open: Start Menu ,.
  (2) right-click: Internet Explorer icon .
  (3) select: send to > desktop (create shortcut).

  There should be a shortcut on the desktop .

  Make sure that the "show desktop icon" has a check against it

  OR

  Just click on the empty part of the desktop, choose new > then select the folder to create. Right click on this folder , select Rename it.

  If the steps above do not work then:

  You can scan your computer for malware.

  You can download, install and update anti-malware free of your favorite search engine and find malware.

  If the scan comes back clean, so I recommend doing a System File Checker too l to analyze your OS system files.

  To help resolve this problem, use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

  You can set a static IP address on the Xbox 360 by going to network settings and then manually enter an IP address.
   
  (1) type cmd in the start search field.

  (2) type ipconfig/all in this window, and then press the Enter key. This will display a lot of information.

  3) take down of the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and name servers. Be sure to note which is which.

  (4) type exit in this window, and then press the Enter key to close.

  (5) once more, open the start menu. This time, click on Control Panel.

  6) click view the status of network and tasks.

  (7) select the settings of map on the left side of your screen.

  (8) make a right click on your network adapter and choose Properties to open the properties of this internet connection window.

  9) click Protocol Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then the properties button.

  Until you make changes, write down the settings you see on this page. If something is wrong you can always change the settings back to what they were! You should see a point in the obtain an IP address automatically box.

  (10) choose an IP address and type in the IP address box. The ip address that you choose should be very similar to the ip address of the router. Only the last number of the ip address must be different.

  (11) put the previously found in section mask subnet mask subnet. The default gateway should enter in the default gateway box. Enter the dns servers we prevoiusly found in the two zones on the DNS server. Completely out of this menu, click OK.

  That's all you should be done.

  Once done, you must assign a static ip address for your xbox as well.
  When you're done, between the two, the only parameter that must be different is the actual IP address. The gateway and subnet mask must be the same on your XBOX and PC LAN connection.

  Buy or borrow a USB keyboard and connect you with that. Once logged in go to your bluetooth preferences and pair it with the keyboard.

  Hello! :) I think that if you try to go to the Web page that you saved to the original account and save this page on the desktop on that account, it should work. I think they are two separate, accounts and so maybe that's why we couldn't see the shortcut on the other account. I really hope this helps. :)

  I have a folder on my desktop that I can't remove. It's big (8.6 GB), but I've waited several times so he can remove several minutes to give it enough time.   I have a Windows 7 laptop and a Vista laptop. They are connected to a secure wireless network. Both work very well as standalones. When I try to connect via Remote Desktop or connect with each other. My 7 is in a homegroup with a single name. My Vista is in a WORKING group with the same name. I can't connect either using remote desktop. Computer for both names are names of a single word, 'XXXXXX', not the format xxx.xxxxx.xxxx and I can't figure another way to their name. I spent 2 days serching various tech forums and tried what they suggested.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

  WINDOWS MAIL WILL NOT ACCESS MAIL SERVER - ERROR INVLID USERNAME OR PASSWORD.  CAN ACCESS WEBMAIL - NO PROBLEM.  CHECKED THE ACCOUNT ALL PARAMETERS WTH IS.  A VIST HOME BASIC SYSTEM.  WORKED OK UNTIL THE SYSTEM CRASH AND RAN DELL RECOVER DISK.

  The Dell recovery disk restores the system to the original factory conditions and you have lost all the settings Windows mail completely.  You must reconfigure Windows Mail entirely (as if for the first time which is essentially what you're doing) to re-establish the link with the email provider.  You may need to contact them for the right information enter on the different screens (user name and password, server names, if authorization is required for the reception or sending, port numbers, etc.).  Once this is done, you should have access again.  If your ISP is also your email provider, then I'm sure that a call to their technical support number, you will have someone who can help you step by step with this whole process (because they have people who do this throughout the day and documented procedures so that they don't miss anything and to provide accurate and up-to-date information).  Don't let them not the phone is turned off until you have confirmed this works by you sending a few emails and confirming you received them.

  Newly acquired Nook Color would not recognize connection WEP. So I spent the Bureau for the WPA. Now laptop said little or no connectivity. Can the corners as well and portable live in this environment? If so, how?

  It's a good thing.  WEP is near useless for what is security is these days.

  Connect to a router, or using ad hoc wireless to share the Internet connection belonging to the office?

  Most wireless routers require that all devices use the same encryption level.  Some newer routers can allow a mixture of WPA and WPA2, but as far as I know, none allow the WEP and WPA at the same time.  If you use a wireless adapter in the Office for an ad hoc wireless network, I'm sure that without these adapters allow the WEP and WPA.

  Change your laptop in WPA too.

  You may need to remove the connection recorded first in order to make this change. Assuming you use Windows to configure the adapter to the laptop wireless (and more far assuming that the laptop is running XP sp2 or greater), the procedure is as follows:

  • Open network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
  • Right click on the wireless adapter icon and select Properties
  • Click the "Wireless Networks" tab
  • Select your network wireless from the list of "Preferred networks", then click on the button Delete
  • OK your way out

  Now find your wireless network in the list of available wireless networks, click connection and enter the WPA password when you are prompted.

  Looks like the scan drivers may not have been installed correctly. Please, try the steps in this document to see if it helps. Skip step 3, because it is the different software for your model. Let me know the results of step 5.

  HP printers - a Communication or connection error is displayed when scanning.

  In the workarounds section scan, try these applications to see what results you have.

  If the driver is installed correctly, you should be able to use the Capture and scanning HP.
