• HP Pavilion AIO: Camera stopped working for windows welcome

  The new AIO Pavilion came back with Windows 10 months and I used facial recognition to open a session.  All fine until 1 week ago, when the home screen says now "preparing...". "and"can't turn to the camera. Use the PIn to connect.

  That the Forums are with you!  I understand that your web camera does not work properly for connection purposes.  I'm happy to help you with this.

  Assuming that it could be a recent update of Windows 10 which is the culprit, you can try using a computers HP - use Microsoft System Restore (Windows, 10, 8) to return to the level of before the problem appeared and see if it works now.  If so, then it is likely a change in software to your system.  Once you have determined that, then you can check: How to prevent Windows 10 to automatically download updated -howtogeek.com, prevent this set of updates.

• Desktop Pavilion AIO: make the initial recovery disc/usb key

  Greetings... Have a new AIO is coming soon.  Of course the first thing I want to do is to make a backup of recovery.  Is it possible to do the recovery media allotted one without having to start in win10 (a virgin)

  ?  Can a key be pressed to start upward to enter the recovery for this Manager?  We need to start in uefi and disable secure first drive?  If anyone has any experience in doing this, I'd appreciate a 'how '.  What key/s to start etc.

  So just got a new AIO 9010 to assess and that he would build a driver package SCCM for it but I noticed that according to wmi the name of the model this as just "Optiplex 9010' cabin of the IOA and the model of ordinary office are different.  So, how can I differentiate the two different models of material?  All in one model in WMI should really be "Optiplex" 9010 AIO

  It is a big problem for us in the way we manage driver packages in SCCM, we use the terms with a WMI query in the TS to ensure that the specific driver package applies to the specific model.

  You'll want to do an additional control and watch the chassis Type.  The IOA has a Type of chassis '13' (all-in-One) so you can use this additional control to differentiate systems.

• Loads of boot UEFI PXE not available on OptiPlex 9020 AIO A09 for Win7?

  We prefer to use UEFI instead of legacy for our new systems mode. Previously, we were able to use the active UEFI PXE with SecureBoot disabled and ROMA Legacy boot. The service seems to come and go with each version of BIOS for the AIO 9010, and now on the 9020 AIO with A09, he went as well.

  On a 9020 AIO with A09, if I enable Secure Boot and disable Legacy ROM PXE is available. If I disable SecureBoot (required for the loading of Windows 7) and allow ROMA to the legacy, it has no option to start on the network when you press F12.

  Our new AIOs with BIOS A02 9030 allow us to perform a boot PXE in this way without problem, so I guess that the problem in A09 is a bug and not intentional.

  I am pleased to announce that the Optiplex 9020 AIO BIOS A11 is now available to the public. The update of the BIOS A11 has resolved a problem where in A09, the UEFI network box battery inside the BIOS would itself be clear after the release of the BIOS. This prevented the UEFI network protocols appear in the one-time boot menu.

  In short: with AIO BIOS A11 9020, you can now have the legacy option ROM both the UEFI network stack activated at the same time.

  For those who are not familiar with the specific screens in question, I have them listed below.

  After the upgrade to El Capitan, I get the error message "Application Power PC is no longer supported" with my Epson Perfection 4490 scanner. Y at - it a patch/fix so that El Capitan accepts drivers?  Or I'll be stuck with buying a new scanner?  (And 'no' new AIO printer/scanner/fax machines don't analyze remotely as well as of the original perfection of epson 4490.)

  Can I use a stylus (i.e., a stylus with a point, although plastic, rather than a rounded end rubber) on an envy Touchsmart all-in-one running Windows 8?

  frrw - cordially, the OP mentioned in a similar thread that it has key 10 points on his new AiO ENVY. So I guess it's actually a capacitive touchscreen, not one with IR sensors as on older models of TouchSmart. I don't think there is a way to use a capacitive touchscreen without coming into physical contact with the screen, either with a stylus, fingers, etc.

  27% and stayed there so they got out of it.

• C4795 Scanner error, impossible to copy or scan.

  After replacing the color cartridge, tried the alignment process, received the message "print the alignment page...". "and that's how it goes.   Please keep in mind that the older laptop has a 32 bit OS while the new AIO will need a 64 bit OS.

  No matter, product key works with either 32 or 64 bits.

  I recently installed a new AIO.  The HP Officejet 6500 E709n series. I was using IE6 in time. After I installed successfullyy software, HP SMART WEB PRINTING worked fine. I then installed IE7 and although the HP SMART SELECT button on my command bar, it does so WITHOUT the menu drop down. I can only clip & print 1 point at a time. All other options are missing, since there is no drop-down list. Help?

  It's to do with other toolbars - I read on another forum - and it worked for me - I got rid of the yahoo toolbar - which I never use anyway - via the Control Panel - Add or remove programs - then close IE 7 and restart and voila - there is the drop down arrow and now I have the options of Clipboard and it works a treat.

  Hello, I will be getting a new 21 t AIO TouchSmart, HP Pavilion and to completely remove McAfee before I install another antivirus - program (have always had problems with McAfee and have had good success with another big brand).

  In the past with other PCs, it seems that even after I thought I had completely deleted McAfee, ("uninstall program") somehow at one time or another something associated with McAfee would jump to the top (can't remember what happened exactly - that was some time ago) and I could never completely remove!

  Any suggestions on completely removing? Will command the unit soon HP-

  is is possible that upon request they wouldn't install it before shipping?

  By chance is perhaps somehow part integral of the operating system/software so that it can never be removed completely?

  You cannot claim that the software not installed McAfee antivirus. You can and should be able to completely remove your computer McAfee antivirus trial software after the installation. Please, see How to uninstall or reinstall products supported McAfee using the tool of Consumer Products Removal (Development) for instructions on uninstalling the McAfee software and using the Development to remove completely all traces of it.

  Please note that many third-party software installers party be asked to download and install the McAfee software... maybe it's the source of your problem.

  My new Inspiron 3459 AIO 64-bit Win10

  I'm having a problem with the touch screen.

  About 7 or 8 small rounds of bullets immediately show on the screen. The touch screen does weird things zoom is to clean it, put the above date and time window in the lower right corner. It will not correctly work or respond to my touch. I stopped and cleaned the screen twice but nothing is different.

  Is this a driver problem?

  I disabled the touch screen in Device Manager and the balls disappear.

• New Deskjet 3054 AIO will not print

  Hello! I just got my new printer yesterday, and I for the life of me can't seem to print correctly.

  Is the printer with that I have a problem my Deskjet 3054 AIO and I am working on a PC running Windows 7.

  It printed the page alignment without problem and the fine prints when using Mircosoft Word 2003, but the problem comes when I try to print in other programs.

  In Photoshop CS3, when I try to print something, it overwrites the preview image before printing and when I print it out it comes out tiny and confined to a corner of the page.

  Also, when I try to print something from Mircosoft Office Picture Manager, the printer immediately gives me the message "error - printing".
