New hard drive Equium A100, need drivers wireless

Hello
I just updated the hard drive to ny and xp instead of vista has added to my laptop.
I cannot now connect to the internet (wireless option is not even showing as available in network connections) and next to the ethernet in devices, there is a yellow question mark and a mark of exclamtion beside him.

I checked the drivers download page, but there is so much to choose from for download.

Can someone tell me who I need?
In addition, a link to the drivers for my sound card would be extremely useful as those who seem too gone too!

I hope you can help!

You certainly have the WLan driver.

You will find all Wlan drivers:

Sorry but there are a number of models of Equium A100 and therefore it s not possible to tell which driver WLan you have without knowing the model number.

  • New hard drive gets the INVALID disc Windows 7 64 bit upgrade product key!

I installed Windows 7 Home Premium and within 24 hours, my hard drive is dead. I replaced the hard drive and reinstalling Windows 7 Home Premium with 64-bit disc. Everything went well until the time of the entry of the product key. When I typed in the key of this program returned an INVALID KEY message and instructed me to check and retype the key, I did. Product key message invalid was repeated. I have not installed a previous version of windows before you reinstall 7, and the installation program never asked me to check my right to use the upgraded version (Yes, I used the CUSTOM install method).

The INVALID PRODUCT KEY message due to the absence of an earlier version of windows is detected on the new hard drive? I need to install my OLD version of windows before proceeding with Windows 7, can I? Please help me understand what is happening with this PC. I convinced my sister to be upgraded because Windows 7 is SO much in my PC, so that she bought the upgrade disc and tried for a week to get its system works as well as mine has inlaw for several months. I have not heard of someone having this much trouble with the upgrade to Windows 7.

Product keys don't care equipment. They only care about the version of Windows that you are trying to install. (However, you cannot validate a facility later but this is another topic).

If your product key is rejected, then you are two typing errors or you are using a key that does not match the DVD that you are using. This could happen if you use a MS Office key for a Windows installation to a key of Windows 7 OEM for a DVD retail of Windows 7.

  • Equium A100 - will be the responsibility of recovery on a new HARD drive disk

    Hello

Don t know if anyone can help, I am just out of warranty by a month and I think that my hard drive has failed, or I had a virus that has hit loads of files and the PC is always eager to run the disc scan and still get errors on commissioning, sometimes start even goes just right to start mode then crash again and again the same thing.

I have the recovery disk, but this is not sort on the question, so if I get a new hard drive the recovery disc will actually load on a new HARD drive? Why don t Toshiba just give us the full operating system to start with?

Someone has answers or similar questions that could help please let me know.

    Concerning
    Dean

Of course, you can use a recovery with new HARD drive media. No problem at all! Swap the HARD drive and install the operating system using recovery DVDs. All that s!

  • Satellite A100 - how to install "Windows XP MCE" on a new HARD drive?

I have a laptop Satellite A100-495. the cd/dvd does not work and I have a new hard drive. Now, I want to install the original os (windows xp professional, mce).
I'm trying to put the files of my original restore on a USB cd but never works and I did not find useful clues in any part of the forum.

Is there anyone out there who can help me?

    Hi, marawe

It would never work if you just copy the files from recovery Cd on a usb key. You need to make a BOOTABLE FLASH DISK, to do you need an application like Flashbot... Google.
Download and install it, after that you can make a bootable usb key.
You should know that your Bios must support boot with a Usb key, I don't know about your knees. Otherwise, you cannot do so. Hope it works

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hey there!

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I understand that you can not restore your PC by using the restore disks.

It seems that you did not follow the process of creating media recovery or data backup process.

If you are unable to restore the image by using the discs.

Please use this link to find out how to create a recovery media: http://hp.care/2byIEKi

However, you can contact HP and get a set of system recovery disks.

  • DV6 - 6167cl: need to win 7 recovery disc for a new hard drive

I do not know what operating system Windows 7, my laptop had, but I need to put Windows 7 on my laptop HP dv6 - 6167cl recovery disks.

My original question was that my laptop could not restore or anything on its own.  After calling HP support and carry out a guided diagnostic test, it was determined that my hard drive was bad.  I bought a new hard drive and replaced it, but need to get Windows 7 return on that.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Unfortunately, there is no option to download the recovery media - discs, or a usb flash drive must be ordered from HP by following the link in my previous post.

For the version, the possibility of order recovery media is only listed under Windows 7 64 bit and that's what I would have expected your laptop to ship with - it is your machine comes with 6 GB of Ram and would require a 64-bit OS to be able to access what anyone more than 4 GB

Another option that you might consider is to create your own Windows 7 installation disc.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the entire key 25 character product activation on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the Disk Image correct ( this must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - it is listed as Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings) to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is here.  The source of the Windows Image is Digital River.

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1.

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

You may need, additional drivers and software are here.

  • where are my drivers? new installation on the new hard drive

I have a dimension e510, I put in a new hard drive. I got the windows xp disk, I added when I bought the computer. In general, the hard drive is partitioned or something with the operating system on the hard disk of windows xp.

In any case after I installed widows xp, everything works except that I have the yellow question mark by 'other devices', I noticed that when I tried this computer with my main computer of the network. All of the devices under the heading other have no driver video Ethernet, PCi, for example - video works as I have a video card.

So I tried to install the drivers and windows is unable to find them. I still have the installation disc into the computer. Being one of the drivers for the Ethernet - i cannot access the internet to get drivers. Help

OK, I found the drivers on the dell site. I was able to install or update several drivers that I didn't need. the pilot opne I need comes in a cab file inpenuxp.cab.  Where do I put this? I've tried several things that work. When I low laoded the other driver of dell updtates, they all seemed different and they are all installed without problem

    Hello

You will need to download "Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection " of Dell on a USB key and install the driver for your Netbook have access to the internet.

A CAB file is a ZIP , CAB file is just the Microsoft format for a compressed folder save bandwidth on their server they save as aCAB , you can open and then select all and extract here where the files need. For the most part, these files will file dell cascading, images and Html pages.

Try to download the network card in your computer to get the correct driver installed for your problem.

  • If I replace my hard drive, what I need to do to install my OS (Vista) on the new hard drive? I don't have an OS disc (factyory installed).

MS Vista was preinstalled on my computer. (I bought it new.) It did not come with a MS Vista program disc.) My hard drive has crashed and I need to replace it. What should I do to get the Vista OS on my new hard drive.

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

I intend to install a new hard drive on my Compaq C500
All hard drives are the same physical size or do I need a specifically for this laptop?
I do not have the windows install disks, but I have the sticker on the laptop with the product key to this topic, is it possible to download and install it?
And what I have to install the drivers manually or it will install when I install the OS?
    Thank you
    Tom.

I don't know of anyone who has a copy of it,
Is there a way I can download and install with the product key that I have?

Yes, but if it is not an official partner, I can't give you the link.  And currently I don't know any for Windows Vista.
For Windows 7 (Digital River is an official partner of Microsoft): [link]
