New hardware found of notification for a non-existent printer...

I have XP on my machine.  I never had a printer HP color laserjet 8500 PS on my system, but Windows keeps telling me that he found this printer.  I can't disable this notification, and it appears at all times during my computer sessions.  Even allowing it to run and 'install' the printer does not solve the problem; It will go through the complete installation process every time if I let him.  This leads me into the wall! I need help to do that, go away!

Every two weeks or so my computer stops recogizing my printer.  I liquidate uninstall and reinstall everything and the pilot with hit or miss the chance.  Today, I am unable to uninstall the drivers due to "one or more print jobs pending."  There is certainly nothing pending.  I even stopped and restarted the print spooler.  How to remove non-existent print jobs or force uninstall of the printer driver so that I can restart and re-upload?

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

  • Force evaluation of the rules for the non-existent entities and unknown attributes...

    Hi all

I have another issue potentially easy for the gurus of the OPA in this forum - there must be a simple explanation to this question but I'm just not see it.

The problem that I am having with several of my rules, it's that the conclusion is not evaluated due to the non-existent entity instances or unknown entity attributes. As an example of the first scenario, I have a rule that checks for the existence of an instance of an entity with a type and status. The conclusion is evaluated as if there is at least an instance of this entity, otherwise, the conclusion remains unknown.

Similarly, I wrote an equation to annualize all its (financial) obligations in a case, where the frequency of the obligation can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.. I created an attribute for each type of frequency, which are then added to the equation. The issue in this example, is that the equation does not conclude if there is not a value for each attribute in the equation. For example, if:

    assign 1 = A + B + C

where A = 1, B = 2 and C is unknown, does not examine the attribute from 1 to 3, but will remain unknown. Logically, I expect that the lack of a digital defaults to 0, and rather unknown attribute value, but this is not the case.

I looked at the 'Certain and known operator rule examples' help topic to try to understand how assign a value to an unknown attribute, but the example at the bottom of the topic page does not provide a sufficient explanation as to how the logic:

point of the total team = team 1 round points + points of the round 2 team + team of turn 3 points

the team of the round 1 points = 0 if
Round 1 team points (such as recorded by the team) is unknown

the team from round 2 points = 0 if
    etc.

It seems from the example that there are 2 attributes used to the same variable: [team of the Tower, 1 points] and [team of the round 1 points (such as recorded by the team)]. It is not clear to me how the original equation can be concluded if the values are stored in the alternate attribute [points of the round 1 team (such as recorded by the team)] etc.

I have also considered using fragments of rule by the help topic "Prove an attribute using multiple rules", while I could use two equations separated to set the value of an attribute according to the circumstances, that is to say:

    assign 1 = A + B + C

    1 = 0 if attribute
    attribute 1 is unknown

This attempt results in a logic loop error, probably because I am trying to set the value of an attribute based on the same attribute value.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
    Philippe

    Hi Philippe,.

I suggest the following way to solve this problem, although there are other ways too.
You can use a table of rules for it.

Open a Working Document, and then press 'Alt + Z' created a rules table.

    Use the following rule: -.
Keep the text in bold in the left-hand column and the text in italics as a condition for the title in the right column. Use a correct indentation during the compilation of the rules.

    -------------------------------------------
    Attribute 1
    -------------------------------------------
    *0*     any
    A is unknown or

    Uncertain East
    and
    any
    B is unknown or
    B is uncertain
    and
    any
    C is unknown or
    C is uncertain
    ----------------------------------------------
    Has any
    B is unknown or
    B is uncertain
    and
    any
    C is unknown or
    C is uncertain
    ----------------------------------------------
    A + B C is unknown or
    C is uncertain
    -----------------------------------------------
    A+B+C in the opposite case

  • Windows XP (SP3): Assistant of new equipment can detect non-existent "printer" at startup * AND * chronic blockages mouse

In recent weeks, my copy of Windows XP (Service Pack 3) maintains 'detect' a 'printer' at startup, but can never find drivers for it, even through the Internet.  The new device Wizard never identifies the element as anything else as "Printer", or I don't see an unconfigured device listed in material anywhere, Manager even if the wizard repeat myself that the installation of the driver is not.

I have a printer connected to the computer: an HP DeskJet 932 C printer.  However, the old driver worked very well, and I get this message regardless of whether if the printer is physically connected to the PC.  The printer was initially connected via a parallel cable, and I've been using a USB cable, with no improvement.  I also downloaded and installed the latest driver from the HP support site; still, there is no improvement.  I also followed the instructions on the linked page, and the problem persists:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;298370

Finally, around the same time the "printer" problem has started, the PC started suffering from sporadic blockages mouse: at irregular intervals after the start (anywhere from a few seconds to hours), the mouse stops responding completely.  I tried using two different computer mouse (the two USB), and the problem has occurred at the same time.  I can't prove it, but given that these two problems seem to start at the same time, I tend to think that they are related.

The PC itself is a Dell Optiplex GX260, with a 3.06 GHz P4 and 1.5 GB of RAM and plenty of space (20 + GB) of free space on the C: drive

Please, please, * help to please!

    Hi Ellakite,

Glad to hear the problem is solved.

Check if there are any drivers listed in the printer server properties and delete the same.

You can use the command to remove drivers below. Follow these steps:

    a. click on start

    b. click command prompt

    c. right-click on the option of cmd.exe and select run as administrator

    d. type: printui/s/T2

    e. opens the printer server properties page

    f. click on the port tab and remove port

  • apply the new item model not stored for elements of existing stocks

    Hello
I have a requirement where an element which currently exists as a stock item (IE a stock model has been applied to him)
Change to a supplier managed inventory item (stock)

The seller has agreed to buy the entire onhand back and the company now wants to apply the model of stock not to the element.

    Is this possible?

The company returned to the vendor transaction and then tried to apply the model not stock the item. After that, they tried to update manually
the storable and transactable flag as they were not "cancelled" when the model no stock has been applied.

There was an error saying "this field cannot be updated as it in the form of open sales order lines"

IM under the impression that if an element has transactions in this topic... .the transactable and storable flags cannot be disabled?

If so any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Thank you
    Rigel

IM under the impression that if an element has transactions in this topic... .the transactable and storable flags cannot be disabled?

This is not true. Once you have deleted the offending data (for example open sales order, pending transactions), you should be able to change the indicators. In your case, cancel (or ship) sales order lines first and then do not stock the item.

    Hope this helps,

  • Found New Hardware "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio".

Hello, here is the whole of it.  I recently bought a card XFX ATi Radeon HD 4650 1 GB DDR2 video AGP8x.  I uninstalled my old graphics card driver and took out my old nvidia card.  I threw in the radeon and started my computer.  Now it starts windows and the bubble 'new hardware found' in the bar tasks appear, 1 saying he concluded a 'video something.' Then a 2nd bubble appears who says: "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio" Word for Word. As this bubble appears, my computer slows down as if the RAM has been withdrawn, and after about 30 seconds, it is a gel closely.  I can't install my drivers for the radeon and I have to turn off manually my computer is not responding.

    Now, I have tried

    • Install the drivers before I put in the graphics card
    • Research on the XFX site for possible solutions
    • Turn off the "found new hardware found" I don't not succsesfully.
I also tried many other things, but none worked.  If anyone has a solution to this answer please problem.  All I want is my graphics card to work.  Thank you
