Newel auto Re old certificates

I am CCNA but due to some problems personal I've not been able to get my CCNP, but I want to do it now... All I want to ask is I heard cisco renews old certifications if we get a new one to the top of the scale, but in fact this applies if I review CCNP Route for example before my CCNA expire or he will also apply if I take the examination after the expiration of my CCNA... which means that will be my CCNA renewed after it has expired due to the CCNP Route exam. Thank you

Hi @[email protected] / * /;

It does that if you take any exam CCNP BEFORE the expiry of your CCNA. If your CCNA expires you will need to re - take and then continue with the road map.

When I took the CCNP ROUTE exam, my CCNA was re-validated automatically. (See attached photo)

Also, here is a link that validates the information I give you.

  • updated Android app - problem with the new/old P12 certificate

    Hello

We have updated our android App, one was built in October 2013, and now, we have used the new web tool for building application - since I'm on a new Mac I can't access the old certificate of P12, I created a new certificate P12 and signed then new app "apk" with her... And now when I try to download this new APK on google game I got a message:

    Failed to download

You have downloaded an APK that is signed with a different certificate to your previous APKs. You must use the same certificate. Your existing APKs are signed with the certificates with fingerprint (s)...

It is true, but is there a way to get around this if I don't have the old P12 files?

It's something you'll have to ask questions about Google. Their mistake is pretty clear that they want you to use the previous certificate, and that is beyond our control.

  • After the upgrade to 36.0.1 I miss my certificates

I've updated to 36.0.1 and now all my certificates are missing. Where can I import coming from?

Well, you'll want to open your old profile folder and your.

Old profile folder: Inside the old data of Firefox, you should find at least one folder named randomly semi. In general, there is a dot in the Middle, followed by the default value of word, but it could be something else. Double-click on in this folder and look for cert8.db. (If there is more than one profile folder, find the most recently updated cert8.db.)

Current profile folder: The best way to get at this is in Firefox. Either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This will launch your current profile folder in a new Windows Explorer window.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox ends its cleaning and then rename the current cert8.db as cert8.old.

Copy to: You can now copy the old cert8.db in current profile folder, either by dragging them from one window to another, or right-click > copy on the old file and right click > paste into an empty space in the current folder.

When you start Firefox back up again, it must use your old certificates.

    Success?

  • How I have Firefox check the certificates revoked/expired?

The heartbeat vulnerability fix requires servers to update openssl, get a new certificate and revoke the old certificate. To make sure a spoofed site does not use the revoked certificate, I need Firefox to check for revoked certificates. How can I activate this certificate revoked archive on Firefox?

  • The "MyNewServerHostname" server did not accept the certificate.

    Hello

I have a server on a Mac mini with OS X 10.11 and a MacBook pro with OS X 10.11 customer who worked very well in the lab. But to put the server on another network necessary to change the name and the IP with the changeip command-line. Now the customer can not get the schooling profile.

On the client, I have install the trusted certificate, and then when I install the profile of education get the following failure message:

The "MyNewServerHostname" server did not accept the certificate.

I already tell a customer to make clean installation, deleted all the old certificate server, stopped the open directory and destroy the OD with the slapconfig command-line - destroyldapserver. And then create a new OD with new certificates, but always the same message failed. Any idea to fix it?

After you rename the server, you must create a new profile of certificate and trust. Did you do that?

  • Impossible to update SSL certificate for Mail account

My SSl certificate has expired. I bought a new one installed and all other mail client works fine... except this junk called Mac Mail. Now, I can't check my email at all.

I have 14 accounts on the same server. One account was asked to accept the new certificate (hostname mismatch). All other accounts are now with one! and "taking into accounts online" does nothing. Remove the SSL account does nothing. Remove the old certificate to keychain does nothing.

It is a valid, rather than a self-signed certificate.

So while I'm reconfigure everything on a real email client, anyone happen to know how to solve this problem? Every solution proposed elsewhere (other discussions, forums) do not work. Short to delete all accounts and recreate them will work hoping, this seems to be a lost cause...

  • "Invalid certificate" error when you try to access the internet.

Original title: invalid certificate XP 2001

New computer shop, so using old XP 2001.  Can get internet, but sign CERTIFICATE INVALID keeps popping up.  What should I do?

Two conditions that can cause this.  One is that your computer is on the wrong date or duration.  Verify that your correct time zone is set on your computer and the date / time is within 5 minutes of the correct time.

Second, you need to maybe old certificates that need to be updated.  Go to the following site:

  • Is there a way to recover the EFS encrypted files stored on an external drive without the origianl certificate?

Is there a way to recover the EFS encrypted files stored on an external drive without the original of the certificate?

I had photos/files stored on an external drive and have been encrypted with EFS in XP. The main drive crashed, all keys have been lost. Got a new main drive, installed the new OS and now can't access encrypted files.

Unless you can retrieve parts of your old drive or have a backup of your encryption certificate, you have probably lost all of your encrypted data.  Recovery agents work only if they are in place when the file/folder is initially encrypted.  A program like AEFSDR might be able to resurrect your old certificate from your old drive if it is readable at all.  If you plan to use EFS in the future, make sure you read the following article the court - particularly paragraph entitled "why you should back up your certificates.

  • How to upgrade the already encrypted files on the USB HDD with new XP Recovery certificate

I backed up the files encrypted in My Documents on a USB drive on which these files are also encrypted state. My computer crashed so I reinstalled the operating system. I wanted to send records encrypted USB HD to my computer or tried to copy projecteurDu and paste them into My Documents. I could not do this because I got "an error occurred in the application...". access privilegesDo i., access is denied. "I created a new recovery certificate and put in place a recovery agent. From there how I update the previously encrypted files on th USB HDD with the new recovery certificate? I'd appreciate a step by step procedure. Can I select the USB drive in the command line and run cipher/u on this drive or make the command/u of encryption on the computer without connecting to the USB HDD

Sorry to say that my bet is that you never gain access to these files again.

When you created the files encrypted, Windows creates a key for decryption to access these files and stored, encrypted in your certificate store.  When your system crashed, the decryption key has crashed with it.  Without this key, you will never have access to your encrypted files.  If you have recovered from a backup image-style, you should be able to access these files.  If you've recovered by installing Windows from the installation disc, then you have created a new and different installation with different Secure ID (SID) and a certificate store empty.  A recovery agent will only retrieve encrypted files that were created after that recovery agent was in place - as a new certificate.  What you really need to do, it's your old certificate to restore the backup that you created when you started using EFS.  The following article is mandatory for anyone using the EFS file system.  Special attention to the paragraph entitled "why you should back up your certificates.

"Best Practices for encrypting file system"

If you do not have a return to the top of your certificate, then things look dark.  There is a program called "AEFSDR' whose 'professional' version comes through what has not been overwritten on your hard drive in search of remains of certificates that could be delivered together to recover.

    Good luck

    Some things you can try:

You can have old certificates root on your computer.  Try to update your root certificates from the link provided in the paragraph "Root Update Package (intended for Windows XP only)" in the following article:

"Members of the certificate program root Windows.

It is also possible that indeed, you will be redirected to a false site.  Check your file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts ensure that there is not a bogus entry for your hotmail login.  Generally, the only line that is required in this file does not begin with a character ' # ' is ' 127.0.0.1 localhost '.

  • DMA 2200, certificate expired, that is the problem?

As requested in another post I have problem to connect my DMA 2200 on my Win 7 pc.

Now, I discovered that the certificate that is created during installation is ancient, as in a year.

Win7 treats the old certificate diffrently then Vista.

I am sure that I have the traffic between the extension and the PC, the PC detects the Extender, but for some reason any installation get a time out.

So the question is all the old DMA 2200 certificates, if you check your what you have?

    Beginning

MMC, 2200 certificate is located in the PC folder.

I guess I'm wrong, but I don't know how to work certificates and that the effect of dear old, but they must be there for a reason any or?

He wasn't certificate problem, but still the certificate is old... but now I got it to work and it works very very well.

  • Renewal of certificates Cisco ISE Admin and EAP

    Hi on board,

Maybe I'm asking a rather stupid question here, but anyway :)

Currently, I think about how renew a certificate admin/EAP on a node of the ISE and the effect on the endpoint authentication.

Here's the thing that I do when I install initially an ISE node

1.) creation of CSR on ISE (PAN) - CN = $FQDN$ and SAN = 'name of FQDN as well. "

2.) sign CSR and certificate of bind on the ISE node - done

Now, after 10 months or two (if the certificate is valid for one year) I want to renew the certificate of admin/EAP ISE.

Creation of CSR: I can't use the $FQDN$ like CN, because there is still the current certificate (CN must be unique in the store, right?)

So what to do now? I really need to create a temporary SSC and make the admin/EAP certificate, remove the current certificate, and then create a new CSR? There must be a way better and more important to do nondisruptive.

How you guys do this in your deployments?

Thanks again in advance, and sorry if this is a silly question.

    Johannes

You can install a new certificate on the ISE until he's active, Cisco recommends to install the new certificate before the expiry of the old certificate. This period of overlap between the former certificate expiration date and the new certificate start date gives you time to renew certificates and to plan their installation with little or no downtime. Once the new certificate enters its valid date range, select the EAP or HTTPS protocol. Remember, if you turn on HTTPS, there will be a restart of the service

  • 4.2 of the ACS and auth with certificate 802.1 x

    Hi all

I have geerated new certificate and installed on my ACS 4.2, it's only auto generated the certificate by the Association. Now, the end user cannot authenticate automatically.

If I mnually install this certificate on the computer of the end user, then the end user is able to authenticate.

Is it possible to authenticate the end user automatically?

    Oh, I'm sorry...

    Here are the comments;

1.] you must uncheck "Validate server certificate" on the client side, this way, you don't need to install the certificate on the computers of end users.

    2. uncheck the option 'Automatically use my windows password and domain name user name' by these users windows credentials will be saved and the client will be connected whenever you log on to the windows machine.
