  With ethernet base IO FieldPoint that we used previously, you can run MAX to examine the State of all e/s while it was accessed by a running application.  This has been very useful for troubleshooting.

  With the CompactDAQ system, it seems that you are prevented from doing.  Or at least the method is not as obvious and easy to find as it is with the FieldPoint.

  If you use the e/s DAQmx Server to perform i/o FieldPoint-style with your modules cDAQ and variable network-released LabVIEW, you can monitor your variables by using the Distributed System Manager OR. However, note that the IO Server DAQmx does not work with the modules that do not sync on demand (single-point) support.

  Otherwise, there is no direct equivalent, but NEITHER IO Trace is useful to monitor functions DAQmx API are called.

  The executable runs on the same PC that you have developed it, or on another PC when it is running slowly?  (Thinking that if it's on another PC, it hangs on errors for things that cannot be installed on the 2nd PC.)

  Where is the current slowdown?  Is it possible to have errors that happen that you do not see (as in the communication of the database) and which is at the origin of things run slowly because of time-out errors occur?

  I recommend you build your VI with a code debugging in it.  As indicators to show which are the son of the error.  Maybe create a simple Subvi who will save a timestamp and a description to a file and that scatter around your code, then you can connect at run time.
