  There are major differences between the nonexistent files on the server/domain valid and not valid domains - non-existent servers.

  In both cases, IO_ERROR will return error #2032 error of flow. However, if monitor you HTTP_STATUS - you will notice the difference in status. Most likely, if the server is down (or not valid server) - status will be 0. In the case of the invalid url on the valid server - it will be 404.

  Simply select the account under Tools | Accounts | Mail, then click on remove.  You will need to know the parameters to set it up again.  McAfee is known to cause problems with Windows Mail.  You will not be able to correct them if you continue to use McAfee.  Alternatively, you can try to compact and repair the database of WinMail to see if that helps (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

  I think your first statement to answer my question. We are able to open e-mail messages on an iPad, two iPhones, a PC with Outlook and this PC with Thunderbird. Just like you said, Tbird is indeed leave messages on the server. Only the PC with Outlook (POP) is the removal of messages. Thanks a lot for your help. I have another question about how to transfer my address book Outlook to Thunderbird on this computer. But I should probably set up as a new question. Thanks again.

  Windows Live Mail is an e-mail client just what E-mail in and out pipes. It is Qwest that control your email and it's them you should ask.

  Have you tried to close and restart Aurora?
