  I support 100%, power OFF (no sleep, full power off) the thing and then after one day when I turn on it back, battery is located at 95% and the computer starts to load it.

  I thought that Li - ion cells have a self-discharge of 5% per month rate, steps per day!

  Why is this happening? Is there something wrong with the laptop?

  PS: I have the option disabled in the BIOS to USB charge. And nothing is connected to the computer laptop while it is happening. The laptop is off, no accesorries logged and stored in the backpack I got from HP. But still, the next day, I have 95% of battery and the computer begins to charge the battery again.

  You could try the HP troubleshooting documentation called test and calibrate the battery (Windows 8). Sometimes the battery just needs to be tested and calibrated with Notepad.

  I changed the workgroup from my XP machine the same as my Windows 7 computer so that I could have access to a printer, restarted, and now I can't access the internet.

  I changed it back and still no access.

  I use McAfee firewall and have checked all the settings, turned off the firewall and no change. (It is back on again)

  I have connected to another network wifi locally and not always no connection.

  You can use an ethernet cable between the modem (= the internet connector) and the iMac.

  WiFi is like an invisible computer thread worms (among others) the modem. When you switch WiFi off, your computer cannot reach the modem and so there is no internet on your computer.

  I removed NM v5.1.9055 three computers and re-installed to v 5.5.9118. inserted my key and re started to each of them. When the laptop wireless started it off the other two for about 3 minutes until the phone was fully charged while we were back on the line.   I've updated my laptop to windows 7 (new installation).  I have a cable modem which is connected by ethernet to a wireless modem/router which I have configured to be a wireless access point (dhcp is the cable modem).  The laptop can connect wireless access point when the cable modem is not connected to the internet (so the ip address of the access point is 192.168.100.50 & the laptop takes an automatic ip address within the range). The problem is when I connect the modem cable to the internet, & so the ip address of the access point is derived the cable modem, the laptop can't connect to the access point. When I renew the ip address of the wireless card, it says it is connected to the selected network but the ip address is not correct, nor do I have access to the internet.

  The laptop connects fine to pick up the new ip address when it is ethernet connected the access point when the cable modem is both on or off, so I can access the local access point configuration when the modem cable is off, & can access the internet when the cable modem is enabled. When it is connected with the cable modem access point wireless at sea, both my wireless & ethernet connection say that they are connected to the selected network, but as soon as I turn on the cable modem, wireless connection says it is connected to an unidentified network, but my ethernet connection is connected to the selected network.

  I tried the broadcasting/no broadcast of the SSID, different levels of security, modification of the power saving options on the card wireless without success. I don't think it's a problem with the real network that the wireless card can capture the network & settings when the cable modem is disabled.

  This Setup has worked well when I had win xp.  My mobile phone can capture the network without wire end also & is able to access the internet.  The driver for the wireless card is current as well as the firmware on the access point.

  You led me in the right direction with the MAC addresses on the cable modem.  It's a simple solution... turn off the cable modem so it would refresh the MAC addresses of connecting devices, & hey presto, I wireless & ethernet access internet on my laptop with wireless internet on my laptop.

  The Dell laptop I bought is little used, not refurbished a downsizing Corporation.  I bought a refurbished by Cisco, Cisco Linksys router.  I can't stay on the internet for any period of time.  At the time that I open the browser, after the wireless connection, it goes your 'connected' to 'no internet access.  If I go through the diagnosis and fix it, it says I'm connected, but 'no Internet' returns quickly.  It shows a diagram of the connectivity of the laptop to the router but not to the internet router.  I had a second router refurb sent, and it does the same thing.

  This is all new to me (wireless and mobile), so my words my being turned off, but I wonder if it might be the wireless card, or network card (or is it just a different name for the router).  I mean, it's something in the laptop.  If I plug the DSL directly into the laptop, I have a perfect internet connection, so I did not thing is my provider.

  Any help/suggestions appreciated!

  My issue was with the ATT modem not set to fill mode.  modem was not accept what he said was the router.

  Recently, I knew that my laptop of girlfriends who is a Dell XPS streched to the office and the max resolution is 1280 x 1024, what happened during the night. The resolution used to go up to 1680 x 1050.

  The stretching occurs only when its acer monitor is connected to the laptop. When disconnect us the laptop resolution is up to 1900 x 1200 (finally something like that).

  Operating system is windows 7 x 64.  I have the exact same monitor works fine on a windows Vista on a Dell XPS.

  Well, I have the same problem with my lcd... and I discovered that this is due to the ability of the tv... or the screen, your laptop have a high native resolution but perhaps the native resolution of your screen is less than I say 1360 x 768... by that your pc or laptop detects the monitor and adapt to... but this will give you a No 4 k true HD display.

  I'm the kind of person who tends to use my laptop on the side while lying on my side. Have a 2-in-1 laptop makes things difficult when I stay in portable mode, but I put the laptop on the side. He starts from the principle I want to use it as a Tablet while it is still in laptop mode. The screen starts automatic rotation and the touchpad deactivates accordingly.

  I looked into the different ways that you can use your laptop to see if the function to the HP ENVY x 360 on its side in laptop Mode was possible. I found a paper called HP ENVY x 360 Convertible PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide.

  If you look under external component identification on page 7, , you will see that it gives you three modes that allows this particular model.

  I also found that the tilt sensors and the dock will not to allow you to use that phone in particular in the service that you want to because it's a model that allows you to have capabilities of the tablet.
