No route to host the torch device (WIFI)

I'm testing my application Widget loading a remote web page.  I am only on the torch device itself.  It works fine on the simulator of 9800.

Private LAN

WIFI

The address using IP field with item appropriate in the config.xml file

Using the browser on the device, I can hit my internal site: http://192.168.1.100/index.html.  This works.  However, when I run my application Widget to the device, which points to the same site, I get:

ERROR

The requested URL could not be found

The following error was encountered:

  • Failed to connect to 192.168.1.100

The system gave:

(113) no route to host

Why can I hit the site from the browser, but not from my application, which has this in the config.xml file?

  http://192.168.1.100">                                                http://192.168.1.100/index.html"/>

Boy, all the guys from RIM should play on their rules.  It would have been easy for them.

In the Widget/WebWorks config file, you can specify which transport to use application and enforcement.

The default order seems to be:

      MDS    BIS-B    TCP_WIFI    TCP_CELLULAR    WAP2    WAP

The problem is, the BIS server can't find my private server (nor should it).  I still think it's a bug, it should go to transport after the failure of BIS - B.

In any case, I changed my order for testing purposes.  (Not sure I recommend for production, but who knows do).  I moved WIFI upward and now I can load my application my private server remotely.

    TCP_WIFI
    MDS
    BIS-B
    TCP_CELLULAR
    WAP2
    WAP

  • Laptop suddenly can't find any available (Wifi) network, but the router is not the problem.

    My laptop was working fine, until what I packed it inside my bag I always do and got chased home my MOM to my father's House; which is a few miles. I opened it upward, and he could not find any networks (wifi) available. I know that the problem could not be the router because everyone elses laptop in my work from home and because my laptop usually shows at least 4 or 5 other connections wifi available, and mine shows nothing at all. The problem is not the wifi switch is on. Help, please!

    Hi Dubist,
    You have a reason to think it might be spyware?

    It sounds more like material if it has just stopped working and there is no other issue.

    Here's what I would do to try to understand the issue.

    Type cmd into the search bar and press to enter. On the command line, type ping 127.0.0.1 and close to enter. You should get a response back as a result time. Something like that.
    Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes = 32 time<1ms ttl="">

    If you do not, close the window Device Manager and type in the search bar and look under network adapters. See if you have a wireless device it and make sure that there is no exclamation beside him points.

    If you have exclamation points or of any error, reinstall the driver. If there is no device listed, it could just be dead and you can watch that need to buy a new external wireless card.

    Tell us what you find and we can go from there. Matt

  • Deploy the debugging token: no route to host

    I'm using Linux, deploying a token of debugging on a BlackBerry Z10.

    The mode of development, the dev what IP posted on the parameters is 169.254.1.1

    I use the following command: blackberry - deploy - installDebugToken debugtoken.bar - device 169.254.1.1 - password

    And I have the following output:

    Error: Unable to connect: no route to host. Check the settings of IP address for the target. Try to ping the target.

    I can't ping the device from the device using a 169.254.x.x network, unfortunately I am using a 192.168.1.x network.

    I have no firewall, no VPN and the unit is plugged in USB.

    169.254 network cannot be changed on the unit.

    I tried to force my Linux network config, so that I have the following text:

    # ifconfig

    eth1 Link encap HWaddr 00:10:18:31:68:60
    INET addr:169.254.1.2 Bcast:169.254.255.255 mask: 255.255.0.0

    RX bytes: 190168290 (190.1 MB) TX bytes: 21806096 (21.8 MB)
    Interruption: 18

    But still, I can't ping the device...

    What did I miss?

    It seems that the device is properly connected to your computer, and networking has been correctly configured. However, the messages that you have found, and the lack of support of ping suggests there is still a network problem prevents you from reaching the unit.

    Did you set it to 'Storage and access' mode 'Windows '? "Windows" mode is RNDIS, which works perfectly and 'Mac' mode (and perhaps her detected) are ECM and has some problems with some linux configurations.

    You can reach the exit of "route ip get 169.254.1.1"? For my part, I see

    169.254.1.1 dev usb0 CBC 169.254.1.2
    cache

    Your network (192.168. *) should not affect your debug configuration, unless your network is a 169.254. * network.

  • Routing problem between the VPN Client and the router's Ethernet device

    Hello

    I have a Cisco 1721 in a test environment.

    A net 172.16.0.0/19 simulates the Internet and a net 192.168.1.0/24 simulates the net, the VPN tunnel must go to (intranet).

    The net 172.16.0.0 depends on the router 0 FastEthernet, Intranet (VPN) hangs on Ethernet 0.

    The configuration was inspired form the sample Configuration

    "Configuring the Client VPN Cisco 3.x for Windows to IOS using Local extended authentication"

    and the output of the ConfigMaker configuration.

    Authentication and logon works. Client receives an IP address from the pool. But there's a routing problem

    side of routers. Ping client-side - do not work (the VPN client statistics that count encrypt them packets, but not to decrypt).

    Ping the router works too, but decrypt and encrypt customer statistics in VPN packets count progressive

    (customer has a correct route and return ICMP packets to the router).

    The question now is:

    How to route packets between the Tunnel and an Ethernet device (Ethernet 0)?

    conf of the router is attached - hope that's not too...

    Thanks & cordially

    Thomas,

    Can't wait to show something that might be there, but I don't see here. You do not have the card encryption applied to one of the interfaces, perhaps it was not copied. Assuming your description you do it, or should it be, applied to the fa0 and you are connected. Try how you ping? Since the router or a device located on E0? If you ping the router, you will need to do an extended ping of E0 to the ip address of the client has been assigned. If your just ping the router without the extension, you will get sales and decrypts that you declare on the client. Have you tried to ping from the client to interface E0? Your default route on the router is pointing to fa0? You have a next hop to affect? You have several NIC on the client pc? Turn off your other network cards to check that you don't have a problem with routing on the client if you have more than one.

    Hello

    This error is usually done to firewall or selinux - but since you have already disabled, I recommend you just do a restart of your two virtual machines as I have explained these mistakes here http://salmandba.blogspot.sg/2015/04/using-cluster-verification-utility.htm

    I also believe that you have also disabled Firewall (not only stopped) by using the command «chkconfig iptables» off
    My installation guide 12 c RAC excavation on Linux 6 Treaty of all the prerequisites that are almost the same for the 11 g RAC installation, please check if you have met all the requirements.

  • How to configure the network home wiFi with dlink router

    I need to create a home network using the dlink WiFi router
    a computer with Vista and the second with XP
    can someone tell me what havo to do to configure the router etc etc o give me same informamation on where I can learn to do
    I want just the old pc with xp for the server and the vista one customer but more importantly I need the file on XP to migrate under vista.
    Thank you very muche for your end of the patient cooperation
    in return, I give free cooking classes
    see you soon

    I'm not sure if you are asking how to set up a secure wireless network, if you ask how to share files between your two computers (and there is no "customer" or "server" in a working group, in a field - which is not), or both.

    So I will give you information on doing both.

    Router - configure manually

    Setting up a router is simple enough. Normally, you run the CD that came with the router and follow the instructions. If you're running Vista, maybe the CD that came with the router does not work; I do not know this. But you can set up the router without the CD. Note that if you have Internet cable for the connection you have just set up the router to DHCP (or there may even be a choice of cable to choose). If you have DSL Internet, you select TRP usually and enter the username and password you selected when you initially set the DSL connection. So:

    1. turn off the power to your cable modem.
    2. attach a class (usually supplied with the router) ethernet cable cat5e port Internet/WAN from the router to the ethernet port on the cable modem.
    3. connect the ethernet cable cat5e from the network card in your computer to one of the ports on the router. If you do not have an ethernet cable (because you were using USB), you will need to go to the store and buy a.
    4. turn on the cable modem. After that all the lights are on, turn on the router.

    To configure the router:

    Have a computer connected to the router with an ethernet cable. Examples given are for a Linksys router. See the manual of your router or the router mftr's Web site. for the parameters by default if you don't have a Linksys. Open a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox and in the address bar type:

    http://192.168.1.1 [Enter] (it is default IP address of the router, which varies from router to router then check your manual)

    This will bring you to the login screen of the router. The default username is blank and the Linksys default password is "admin" without the quotes. Enter this information. You are now in the configuration of the router utility. Your configuration utility may be slightly different from mine. The first thing to do is to change the default password because * all * known default passwords for different routers.

    Click the Administration link at the top of the page. Enter your new password. MAKE A NOTE SOMEWHERE THAT YOU WILL NOT LOSE. Re-enter the password to confirm it, and then click Save settings at the bottom of the page. The router will reboot and show you the box of connection again. Do not fill in the user name and put it in your new password to enter the configuration utility.

    Now, click on the link wireless at the top of the page. Change the network name (SSID) wireless by default to something, you'll recognize. I suggest that my clients not use their surname as the SSID. For example, you might want to name your network wireless network "CastleAnthrax" or similar. ;-)

    Click on save settings and when you get the prompt that your changes were successful, click the wireless security link which is just beside the Basic Wireless Settings link (where you changed your SSID). Most computers purchased during the last 4 years have the wireless hardware that will support WPA2-Personal (also known as WPA2-PSK). This is the desired encryption level. If your wireless hardware is older, use WPA. Don't use WEP, because who is easily broken within minutes. So go ahead and set the Security Mode WPA2-Personal. Do this and enter a password. For example, you could use the password ' here be dragons, beware you scurvy dogs! The password is what you enter on all computers that are allowed to connect to the wireless network. MAKE A NOTE SOMEWHERE THAT YOU WILL NOT LOSE.

    At this point, your router is set up and if the computer that you use to configure the router will normally connect wireless, disconnect the ethernet cable and wireless of the computer should see your new network. Enter the password that you have created (exactly as you wrote it with all capital letters and punctuation) to join the network and start surfing.

    Networking

    Here are the steps of general network troubleshooting. Just cannot apply to your situation, so just take the bits that are. It may seem daunting, but if you follow the steps in the links and suggestions below calmly and consistently, you will have no difficulty to implement your sharing.

    Excellent, comprehensive, but easy to understand article on sharing files/printer under Vista. Contains information about sharing printers and files, and the folders:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx

    For XP, start by running the Network Setup Wizard the on all machines (see warning in section A below).

    Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, it means which allows file sharing / print on the Exceptions tab normally run the XP Network Setup Wizard will take care of this for these machines. The only "witch hunt", it will turn on the XPSP2 Windows Firewall. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

    XP - configure Windows to login automatically (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

    Vista - Start ORB > Search > type: netplwiz [Enter]
    Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

    Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

    D. Si one or more of the computers is XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. XP Home does not share the users directory or the Program Files, but you can share folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the Shared Documents folder. See the first link above for more information on Vista sharing.

    F. you have the job of file sharing (and tested by exchanging a file between machines), if you want to share a printer connected locally to one of your computers, share of this machine. Then go to the printer mftr Web site. and download the latest drivers for the correct system. Install them on the target machines. The printer must be collected during the installation procedure. If this isn't the case, install the drivers and then use the Add Printer Wizard. In some cases, printers must be installed as local printers, but it is outside this response.

  • "Détarer" problem with the Torch 9800/Device Simulator

    Hello everyone,

    Im a very strange problem with the Torch 9800 (OS 6).

    I have an application developed with 5.0 SDK. Throughout the process of synchronization of this app, there is a point he gets a. tar.gz file that is unziped. For this purporse (in fact, the tar part / "détarer"), we use a tar / "détarer" 'library' we found here in the forum (http://code.google.com/p/j2metar/). This library works fine in all phones with OS 5.0 that we try and even on the simulators of somo 6.0.

    But there seems to be a problem with the torch. During the uncompress, there are an exception, because what is the reading of the structure of the tar (from the industry), load the bytes that are invalid, corrupt, dirty, memory, and it fails.

    The strange thing of all is that if I have only the routine détarer to the file (in the torch), it works! But when I run all my sinchronization, which open and close httpconnections and process the file on some points (sometimes the same point, others of different) fails.

    My question is... are at - it a known bug, issue, etc. with the BONE of the torch (touch device)? Of course, the first thing that jump to mind is "my code is incorrect, memory leaks (in Java, but perhaps odd that a stream was not getting close properly)" and so on, but I can't seam to find the problem. And like I said before, this application works fine with the same file tar.gz in other devices like the 8520 OS 5, 9780 OS 6, 8900 (OS 5).

    IM completely stuck with this problem and any help/test will be greatly appreciated.

    Here some code, the method that makes him détarer and calls the détarer/tar library:

    public static boolean "détarer" (String tarFileUrl, String destUrl) bird Exception {}

    FileConnection fconn = null;
    FileConnection tarFileConn = null;
    TarInputStream tis = null;
    Boolean bRet = false;

    try {}
    fconn = (FileConnection) Connector.open (destUrl, Connector.READ_WRITE);
    If (! fconn.exists ())
    fconn.mkdir ();   Create the folder if it does not exist
    fconn. Close();
    fconn = null;

    Create a TarInputStream
    tarFileConn = (FileConnection) Connector.open (tarFileUrl);
    TIS = new TarInputStream (tarFileConn.openInputStream ());
    tarFileConn.close ();

    Entry TarEntry;
    int count;
    data Byte = null;

    While ((input = tis.getNextEntry ())! = null) {}
    Count = 0;
    data = new ubyte [2048];

    fconn = (FileConnection) Connector.open (destUrl + entry.getName (), Connector.READ_WRITE);
    If (! fconn.exists ())
    fconn. Create();   create the file if it doesn't exist
    else {}
    fconn. Delete();    Create a new
    fconn. Create();
    }

    OutputStream os = fconn.openDataOutputStream ();

    While ((count = tis.read (data))! = - 1) {}
    OS. Write (data, 0, count);

    }

    OS. Flush();
    OS. Close();

    fconn. Close();
    fconn = null;

    }

    TIS. Close();
    TIS = null;

    bRet = true;

    } catch (Exception e) {}
    e.printStackTrace ();
    throw e;
    } {Finally
    try {}
    If (tis! = null)
    TIS. Close();
    If (tarFileConn! = null)
    tarFileConn.close ();
    If (fconn! = null)
    fconn. Close();
    } catch (Exception e) {}
    }

    Return bRet;
    }

    Thank you!

    Santiago.

    Hello

    It is a problem with the OS 6.  I've posted about this before here:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/reading-and-writing-file-on-torch-9800/TD-p/...

    Basically, corruption may occur if you write to the stream simultaneously in different threads.  The solution is to ensure that a single file operation is occurring at a given time.  Some people have had the chance to control the size of the buffer to something as a multiple of (64 * 1024)-1. e.g. 65535.  In addition, you can rinse after each write to the buffer.  I have had no luck with this, but others.  If you look at the bug in JIRA, there is also no activity on this:

    https://www.BlackBerry.com/jira/browse/JAVAAPI-1513

    Good luck!

  • Windows cannot create the network map. Responses of the other devices on the network are delayed or on the network, there is a router incapatible

    Original title: no network card
    I installed a NETGEAR N300 Wireless USB Adapter on my computer which is a desk top Dell 64-bit running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. There are five computers on my network. Two of the others use the same model of NETGEAR wireless USB adapt. I removed the Ethernet cable after the installation of the wireless adapter. I can say that the new wireless adapter works fine. When I tried to map the network I got the same message that appears in some of these problems: "Windows cannot create the network map. Responses of the other devices on the network are delayed or there is a router on the network incapatible". I have restarted this computer in SafeMode as suggested in the above problems. I tried other things like disabling the wired connection has always existed for the cable. No effect. Then I tried mapping the network on the other computers. All failed with the same message. All the other four computers are 32-bit. Three of these computers are also running Windows 7 Home Premium. They are the best desktop computers. The other computer is a Windows 7 Starter netbook running. It is the 32-bit computer, always using a cable. That will be replaced with the same wireless adapter model NETGEAR. Anyone know how to fix this or is this a bug? It would be nice of the network software of Windows 7 has worked as it is supposed to. TO.

    I went the last wired wireless computer and the problem disappeared. The five computers can view the map now without any problems.

  • Comments operations manager / file manager returns an error "no route to host" when you try to copy comments RHEL to vCO device

    While trying to use the package manager script comments, I discovered to RHEL6 invited, we have a problem copying the file back from the guest to the vCO. Systematically all fail in the 'Copy of the file of comments to the vCO' workflow and in testing, the error is reproducible.

    Specifically, the final stage of this workflow - result = fileManager.downloadFile (vcoPath, ftInfo) - generates the error "no route to host (workflow: copy of the file of comments to the vCO / Scriptable task (item1) #10).

    Anyone know what could be causing this?

    Make sure your vCO has network connection of the ESX host, the virtual machine is running.

    Comments operations connect directly to the ESX host from the client (here: the plugin from vcenter in vCO) after the opening of the procedure on vCenter.

    See you soon,.

  • How to set up the AppleTV on WiFi dual band network

    Hello

    At home, I have a modem/router double band in a Hitron CGN3 installed, providing 2.4 G and 5G wifi access. However, the dual band seems not suitable for airplay, because they cannot communicate with each other via the double frequencies.

    Devices in the House:

    AppleTV (3rd generation): 5 g

    iPhone 5 s #1 (version 9.3.4): 5 g

    iPhone 5 s #2 (version 9.3.4): 2.4 g

    Audio/video receiver: Wired Ethernet

    #1 laptop (windows 7, latest iTune): 2.4 G

    #2 laptop (windows 7, latest iTune): 2.4 G

    Questions and facts of communication:

    • iPhone 5 s #1 (on 5 G) can reach AppleTV (on 5 G) - very well, but the iPhone 5 s #2 (in 2. 4 g) cannot see the AppleTV (on 5 G)
    • All iPhones and iTunes on laptops can see the AV receiver (on Ethernet cable)
    • All iTunes on laptop computers (about 2. 4 g) cannot see the AppleTV (on 5 G)

    In my view, that airplay should work in the same network. All my devices to connect to the same router/modem, just using WiFi dual bands. Could you please tell how to configure to activate devices on 2.4 G to see on 5G AppleTV using airplay? Except the resolution that I have to put all devices on 2. 4 g. My laptop does not support the network of 5G, BTW.

    Thank you very much.

    Po

    Had a similar problem with my router Netgear of Virgin in Britain. My router has a network of comments rather than the two strips running on the same network, then the router has isolate traffic from 5 G to 2. 4 g. I connected to the interface of the router and changed the settings for everything, and it works.

    A way to check see if you have different IP addresses on devices ranges. 5g is 192.168.0 and 2.4 g is 10.10.0

  • Cannot delete the odd device in network prefs: GT-I9305

    Hello world

    I just noticed this 'GT-I9305 device' in the pane of the preferences of my network, I can't remove it with the "-" and I can't make it inactive, someone has had this before, it is sign of a malware?

    When I googled GT-I9305, it appears results on a smartphone from Samsung. Maybe it's because that someone connected a phone Samsung once? But then why can't remove it? I have admin rights and I entered my password when prompted ^^.

    Thank you!

    Hello!

    Well, well, there are some documents are circulating. I had to get enough ice with my Google search term. Here are some links on the topic. I have Windows 10 Boot camped on my Mac. Networking, I've seen many phones from Samsung pop up and I have a RaLink Linux server somewhere in the neighborhood. Good for you that spot on the network of Mac! In one of the links (which seem more plausible), they're talking about blocking the MAC address of the device in the settings. I guess that lock it in your router. They talk about WPS (Wifi Protected Setup), but if use you it, like me, for the connection of printer and such, disabling WPS is perhaps not a good idea or will it one must set MAC address in the router - No. list!
