• Fallout 3 stops working after the computer wakes from sleep

  Since the games for Windows Live 3 is out, Fallout 3 has never been the same. He used to work at best my GfWL and now her nightmare.   I use a (empty) delivered screensaver.  When he wakes up I can open the Control Panel, but I can't open anything else.  If I try to open a Web browser first browser does not open and I can't open the Panel configuration or any other application.  I can't even restart the computer without hitting the power button.

  In the event logs, I see errors repeated for SideBySide and volmgr.

  Read your manuals and find a way to use your laptop computer based on the instructions from Sony to connect external (including projectors) monitors for the laptop.  Usually a connection (as you said Windows XP where you have published, probably VGA) for the monitor and a few buttons to tell the laptop to mirror or extend the display to the second monitor.

  With this part, '... just bought a Sony Vaio laptop... "I'm going to point out what is obvious and suggest that contact Sony as soon as POSSIBLE.  Supported hardware (webcam is material) and all the software that allows the hardware to communicate with the operating system you choose is the manufacturer of the equipment.  :-)

  Memory modules all trials and are not defective. They have also been tested on my laptop Dell friends without any problems even in mode 'sleep'.
  I installed my friends 2Gig Dell memory modules in my P200D and they produce exactly the same results with sleep after accidents.

  My thoughts are that it must be another problem of BIOS unless anyone can shed some light on the question from another angle.
