  • distortion sound when using the media player but not any other media suite e.g., be able to go

I have a new samsung 305th and sound playback for the media player is distorted on the helmet and built in speaker, but all the others like suite of media and power go her crystal clear. makes all kinds of settings and checked sound card, what is the problem? Fix, it has found a problem but says to contact the manufacturer.

    Hello

    1. what fixit did you run?
2 were there any hardware or software changes made on the computer before this problem?

Carry out the methods to solve the problem.

    Method 1
Run the troubleshooting windows media player setting and check if the problem persists. Follow the steps described in the following link:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-settings-Troubleshooter

    Method 2

Try disabling audio enhancements and check if that helps.

    (a) open her by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type sound, and then click sound.

    (b) on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    (c) click the enhancements tab, and then select the checkbox disable all improvements .

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated.

Also remove the audio codec in Windows Media Player.

    (a) open windows media player, and then press Alt key.

    (b) click on Tools, select plug-in and click on the option.

    (c) select plug-ins tab, and then under category, click Audio DSP.

(d), select all the files in the DSP Audio box and click Remove.

Method 3: Check if the problem persists in the boot.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7 stops working after recovery from sleep mode

I have problems to make Windows Media Player 12 to run correctly after a system sleep (standby). It works very well after the maximum boot and for as long that the machine is not going mode sleep. It is only a problem with Windows 7 and Media player 12. All other Win 7 applications seem to work correctly. The system also works very well for Vista/Media player 11.

I installed my upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 as a new installation on a separate hard drive. This problem exists right after installation - no other software not added. I then installed all the updates MS available and the problem has not disappeared. I installed the OS a couple of times (including a copy of Windows 7 Professional x 64) on another hard drive too and the problem remains.

Media Player 12 works perfectly until the system goes into sleep mode - either by itself, or manually. When it resumes, Media player launches, but when you try to play something, he will only play the first couple notes of music and then freeze. Same thing with videos - it will get the first couple of frames played, and then hang. If you continue to stop and restart Media Player, eventually it will be totally suspended and after a few minutes the error "Server execution failed" message. At that point in the Task Manager, wmplayer.exe will consume is a complete base my Quad CPU (25%), do nothing. Sometimes, you can kill the process and take control of the back of the PC. Other times it crashes completely and the only thing you can do is to shut down the PC.

Media Player 11 under Vista Home Premium x 64 on the same PC works fine. I was never able to get Media Player 12 in Windows 7 to work properly after a standby/on standby. If I reboot, everything works fine so it seems to be that something related to a problem of sleep/recovery.

HP supports suggested restarting the service WMP network sharing.  That has not helped, but if I stopped and set to manual start, Media Player would play the sound/music but not video of several tests.  But if I stopped and began to WMP 12 a few times more the problem returns.

Well after working with the help of HP for several days, it seems to be something between the video card and card mother / BIOS between them.  At start-up, everything works well, but after the exit mode ensures, hardware diagnostics show a failure of local video memory.  Media Player is finally touched by it.  Doesn't a lot of sense to me that this does not happen under Vista, Win 7.  You have to return the PC to HP for diagnosis/repair.

  • Lack of playlists in Windows Media Player 12 for Windows 7

I installed Windows 7 and now with the help of Windows Media Player 12 to organize my music collection.  I created several playlists within WMP that are saved to libraries/music/my music/playlists.  However, when I open WMP, none of these playlists appear.  How can I fix it so I can access the playlists in WMP?

Also, there are three playlists in WMP I want.  I tried right click and delete, but they are still there.  Any ideas on how to get rid of these playlists?

    Hello

You can follow these steps and check whether the problem is resolved:

The Windows Media Player library database may be damaged.

Step 1: delete the database of Windows Media Player. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.
    b. Click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
    c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
Note: you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
    d. restart Windows Media Player.
Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files.

    Step 2:
    a. exit Windows Media Player.
    b. Click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft and then click OK.
    c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
    d. restart Windows Media Player.

Step 3: Disable and re-enable Windows Media Player.

Disable the media player by following these steps:

    a. go to start and in the search type 'Turn Windows has or not'.
    b. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    c. find multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
    d. restart the computer

Steps to reactivate Windows Media Player:

    a. go to start and in the search type 'Turn Windows has or not'.
    b. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    c. find the multimedia functions and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.

  • I can't play DVDs in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7 Pro and get this error msg: Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD drive decoder and video card protection.

Hello, thanks for reading and helping me.

I try to play a legitimate, belonging to DVD, but Windows Media Player 12 will not play on my computer Windows 7 Professional.  The DVD worked a few days ago, but all of a sudden, I get the following error message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD player and the video card protection decoder. Try to install a driver available for your video card.

I did a lot of research of these forums and on the ' net.  Here are the suggested steps I tried without success:

    • I tried VLC player.  This works.  However, rather than use this workaround, I wish to find a solution to my problem WMP/WMC.
    • I tried several DVD for years over the last decade.  These DVD works on my laptop, also running Windows 7 Professional and the shark 007 codec.
    • I uninstalled my Shark 007 codec
    • I tried other codecs (K-Lite)
    • I assured that the latest drivers are installed on my video card, XFX ATI Radeon 5850
    • I tried to uninstall Nero 9
    • I tried to use the Windows 7 troubleshooting options:
    • > Reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu - ray (no problem)
    • > Windows Media Player DVD (no problem)
    • > Windows Media Player Settings (detects a problem, wants to restore factory settings, every time, no matter what happens)
    • A system restore to a time when the DVD was working did not resolve the issue
    • The different links in Microsoft, I found in this forum about this problem do not seem to be useful.  There is a link that points to the set-top boxes, but this page just says: "Windows 7 comes with a decoder.
    • I assured the latest driver is available by going to "Device Manager", right click on the drive, then click on "update driver software".
    • I assured that the latest firmware is installed directly from the manufacturer's website.
    • I tried to reset my DRM by renaming the DRM under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows folder and by going to this Web site to upgrade:http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1
    • I've uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Media Player 12 and Windows Media Center via the function "functionality in Windows.

When I want to burn a CD in Windows Media Player, it shows "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when burning the file to disk".    What's wrong? How to fix?

I tried several times to remove the selection to burn and create a new a new but it keep "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when burning the file to delivery" appears what should I do?   What problem is it?

    Hello

    1. what file format you are trying to burn?

    2. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    3. What is the security software installed on the computer?

If it's something you downloaded, it may be copy protected by DRM, in which case you may not burn it to a CD or DVD.

Here are a few things to try:

    1. make sure that the disc is clean.

    2. try a different brand of blank discs.

    3. stop all other programs that are running.

    4. make sure that the hard drive does not use disk compression.

I suggest that you follow these steps and check if they help to solve the problem.

    Method 1:

Try to use the Troubleshoot utility to see if that solves the problem.

    a. open the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.

    (b) in the search box, type "convenience store" and then click Troubleshooting.

    c. click on show all and then click the Windows Media Player settings.

    Method 3:

If you have any third-party burning software, I suggest you temporarily Uninstall it and then try to burn the disc using Windows Media Player.

Note: Reinstall the software after the trial.

    Method 4:
