    Hello

Try the following - this requires that your Windows 7 running.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

IDT Audio Driver - Windows 7.

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver from the link below.

    Chipset Driver - Windows 7 32 bit.

After reinstalling, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

Regarding the problem with Flash Player when you try to view Youtube, first of all, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the laptop.

Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before download.

Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the ActiveX component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

    Hello

When I booted up my HP Pavilion Notebook g6 today he says that there is an update of the BIOS necessary. I upgraded F.34 (at least that is what it is under my profile), it restarted and all is well. Then I noticed that it had no noise at all. I checked everything, fait made sure that my drivers are up to date, ran troubleshooting and still nothing.

Windows detects the sound being played, but nothing comes out of my speakers. I also tried to use headphones and not had much luck.

    My # is LM837AV product.

    Thank you.

    I solved it.

  • I lost all sound on my HP Pavilion dv6 notebook windows7 pro 64-bit

Shows the sound icon on all the settings I can find sound and volume on but I have no sound. I went to sounds and clicked on TEST and no sound. All this happened while I was online chat with Dish network. I restarted but no change.

Click on the link below. Enter your product number as that indicated on the Service tag on the bottom of the laptop (can be under the battery). You can also get the product number by pressing Fn + ESC key. After you enter the PN, click Next, then choose the software & Drivers. On the next page use the menu drop down to select your (probably Windows 7 64-bit) operating system. A list will fill with the drivers. Download & save the last Audio driver.

Go into the Control Panel, programs & features - software uninstall IDT. Reboot the laptop and install using the downloaded file.

  • No sound in Windows 7 32 - bit (Notebook Toshiba)

    Hi all.

First of all, I want to say, it is of a Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 and this is a new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Now, on XP, this laptop was perfectly fine - everything worked correctly. However, after installing Windows 7 seems to have met a problem with the audio does not. The details are being Toshiba V4.70 19/01/2009 - BIOS SMBIOS Version 2.4. The motherboard, from what I can tell, is called a P105-S9337 motherboard (shrug).

Now I have almost tried everything. Before everyone tells me, Yes, I ran the store and check to see if my audio is enabled, the value by default, etc, etc. Windows 7 downloaded and installed its own version of the Conexant SmartAudio HD2 high-definition (4.36.7.60; 2008-04-11). However, has no - no sound.

I was in the Web from Toshiba site and downloaded their Conexant Audio Driver for Windows 7 (v4.8.0.0), 04/09/2009. When defective, I downloaded versions of Windows Vista, they come out to see if they work. Also missed me. Then I fell a P105-S9339 version - to see if its pilots would work. However, nothing was done.

I checked with programs that automatically download the drivers needed, but who has not yet detected that there is a problem. I can even open the playback Menu and it displays "Speakers" and "SPDIF Interface" listed. I'm going to play a song, and it will show the volume on the speakers!

The only time where I hear audio is if I plug in headphones. I can hear sounds through headphones, but no speakers.

Also one thing I've observed. Whenever I update to automatic pilots of Windows 7 to the latest drivers Conexant 4.8, my reading of "Speakers" changes to "internal Audio / headphones." Why would it be?

Please, I've worked on this all day. I can't find a solution!

My husband has had the same problem after I installed Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 which was previously under XP. After a lot of research and frustration, we had to try theDriver Conexant Audio for Windows Vista(v3.18.0.51; 02-02-2007; 2.3M)

I guess that they do not have a stable driver for 7, but the Vista driver worked instantly. I hope this has helped!

  • HP Pavillion TS 15 Notebook PC: HELP! Update HP corrupt Word 2013 is now the notebook

HP updated yesterday. I was working in Word. My document switched to Notepad with program and deleted formatting will not allow me to reset even footer.  I spent 3 hours yesterday to someone at Microsoft and I was told that it is the responsibility of HP.  Today, I'm at HP, but no chat support available.  So, I try to get help.  HP REPAIR MY COMPUTER PLEASE.

Yes I already decided that I will try to reinstall Word of my drive. Also, I've upgraded to Windows 10 and saw many changes which are annoying as all my applications disappeared. I have now set up an alphabet and the deck which is very good if you know what you are looking for and hell for the rest of us who won't know where they blocked the control panel.

  • Pavillion TS 14 Notebook PC: USB Ports not working not

Hello. If there is a moment, 2 / 3 USB ports on my laptop doesn't work anymore. There are 2 USB ports on the left and one on the right. The right one is the only one that still works. I decided to start a diagnostic test HP USB ports that do not work and I got the error Q4XBL1-78J89Q-MFPV6J-8D7KO3 code. I ran the test both of the ports and both came with the same code. Can someone please tell me what this code and what to do about the problem?

    Help would be very appreciated.

Sorry, but this is the only port on the right located on a daughter card.

    Manual

2 ports on the left (which are the only USB 3.0 ports) are part of the motherboard and their fixation would mean replace the motherboard. See the diagram on page 76 that shows the usb ports in the system (mother) board left. The only other explanation is that USB 3.0 driver is not installed right but if that were the case you would not get the error of diagnostic test on the ports.

  • Notebook Compaq CQ50 - 107NR PC-not to sound of the laptop without headphones

No sound from the laptop without headphones... help?

Until today, I was perfectly able to hear the sound in my Compaq CQ50-107NR notebook PC with or without headphones plugged. I have not upgraded or anything and I don't know how to fix it. It shows everything works well, but is not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi rajiv puri,.

Because that did not fix the issue, I suggest delete and then install the sound card and check.

It may also be that the sound card may be disabled in the BIOS, probably only the edge can work.

  • Media Player11 will not play video (DVD disc). The sound is fine and a DVD decoder was installed.

Where to start... After you download the necessary drivers and also I was able to get my sound work. Then, I bought and downloaded the dvd decoder, InterVideo DVD XPack. When I put a DVD in the drive, Media Player appears and I press play and I hear the sound but I do not see any video!

I tried to download and use other video players, but none have worked so far. Everyone give me reasons why they can not read/play the disc or separate errors. Some have suggested that I change my screen resolution or color quality. I have and nothing makes a difference. Only, I can choose between 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (16-bit or 32-bit).

    Hi e..,.

I see that you are getting sound but not your built-in speakers. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding.

I'd love to help you, but it would be better to get the full product number and the version of the OS. Please see the following documents if you need help to find those.
How can I find my model number or product number?
Is the Version of Windows on my computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
