No sound or sound on my computer card

I tried to toroublem my sound problem and I tried to diagnose the problem, but noting is workin I havew cheacked all my computer and it say that I have no sound card I'm not without much about computers and I tried wat should I do but nothings working could help you please

Probably you must go to your computer manufacturer (HP, Dell, toshiba, what you get) Web site to see if there are any drivers for your "sound card" inside your office.

Follow these steps:

Try the following.

Start > Control Panel > Device Manager > sounds > looking for HD Audio.

Write down of the description and the model, double-click on it, go to the tab drivers, note the version.

Make a right click on it and UNINSTALL and restart the computer it will rebuild the driver stack.

Go to the manufacturers website and find the latest driver for your card download. (You must know the name of the sound card, if you wrote down from the above info), when you find it download: SAVE IT DO NOT HIT RUN (save it on your desktop for easy access. Open the file that you have saved and right-click on it and select RUN AS ADMIN(Now install it.). REBOOT after each installation of driver.

Another thing I discovered:

Sound drivers often rollback, so check that the version you just installed is always there. If not, the driver to keep until it sticks, it really shouldn't take more than three times

Don't know what happened, but I have no sound on my computer. I have the microphone in the taskbar and when I click it it is 100% how can I get sound

    HELLO Shirley,
Here are a few steps that I want you to try:
If Windows Media Player seems to work fine, but you cannot hear the audio, you will have a problem with your speakers or sound card. Check all audio connections if you are using external speakers and to ensure that sound levels are defined correctly and not cut. Use Device Manager to make sure that your sound card works correctly and is selected as the audio device by default.

    Verification of the sound settings

Click on Start , then Control Panel
Select the material and audio and noise
Under playback.. What icons you see?
Click Properties and then click headset/speakers
According to the levels... is at 100% and not CUT?
Under Advanced... What is the default format?
Click test... do you get a sound?

    Reinstallation of Windows Media Player

Go to "turn on or off Windows features.
    * Disable features Media: Windows Media Player
    * Reset
    * Provide characteristic Media: Windows Media Player

    hope this helps,
    Eddie

  • Desktop PC: cannot hear any sound from my computer

My sound does not work in Windows 10. No sound at all from YouTube videos, music and media players, Windows system sounds, etc.

Have you tried a few different devices (headphones/speakers)? There could be a problem with the hardware with one of these devices. Also, keep in mind that most of the computers do not have built-in speakers, you don't need to have a connected device to hear anything.

If you have already tried a few different pairs of headphones and speakers, the first step in troubleshooting I recommend is the easiest: restart your computer. Sometimes a single application can take control of your audio device and do not let all the other apps use, but you can release this control by restarting.

Here are a few others not you can try:

    • Run the audio troubleshooting tool in Windows
    • Make sure that your device is connected to the appropriate port on the computer, and if you use powered make speakers you they are plugged into a working outlet
    • Set the default audio device to make sure that your computer sends the audio output of the device
    • If your computer comes with 10 Windows installed, you can restore the driver of its origin in the HP Recovery Manager, or to update the driver through Device Manager
    • If you upgraded your computer to Windows 10, you can update the audio driver in Device Manager

These solutions and much more are explained in detail in this document: HP-no sound from the computer desktop.

I get a continuous beep from my computer Acer Aspire 7540. How can I stop it except turn off the sound.

    Hi G V Palmer,.

1 did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?

The system beeps are so important that it indicates system errors and warn you against system damage. When the processor system or Random Access Memory (RAM) or hard drive is not working properly, it will give the alert system using the beep.

I recommend you to check if the RAM and hard drive work properly.
