  This may be due to reasons various, such as the files required by Windows update is missing or damaged, connection proxy security, software, etc. Let's try the following methods and check the status.

  Method 1: Run the Windows Update troubleshooting tool

  1. Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool by hitting swipe in the edge right of the screen, tap Search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the mouse down and then clicking Search), entering the Troubleshooting in the search box, by typing or clicking on settings then tapping or clicking on the resolution of the problems.      DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

  5. To close the administrator: command prompt window, type Exitand press ENTER.

  6. Run Windows Update again.

  I did run a daily backup to a computer in a network with windows backup and Restore Center. the hard drive crashed on this computer and we had to install another. When I try and use advanced restore / backup made on a different computer, I can navigate to the backup on the network computer folder but when I select the folder and click Next it gives me an error:
   
  I get: Windows is not able to load the backup game selected for the following reason:

  Just to add additional information; The computer with the replaced hard drive running Vista family premium, the path to the backup file is \\HPDESKTOP\Public\Backup\Bobruncer-pc\.

  There is another folder under Bobruncer-pc called Bobruncer-pc and all the backup files. I restore from the correct location? Also, the backup folder is 226 concerts but the backups were made from a hard drive of 80 GB... should I worry about this too?

  Just to clarify, perform you a complete PC Backup or backup and restore?

  When you do return, and restore, it can be saved as a .zip file in the backup folder. You can decompress the file and retrieve the required files.

• I was not able to download the updates of Windows XP

• Windows 7 sees my second monitor as "generic non - PnP" and will not let me set the correct resolution

  I just installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on a new hard drive on my Dell Studio 540. The PC has a graphics card ATI Radeon HD 3450 and has a Samsung 226bw 22 "monitor on the digital output. This works very well, and has the resolution of 1650 x 4050. When I am running Vista (on the previous hard drive), I got a monitor flat 14 "old on the other out, and it worked fine (although at a lower resolution).

  I added a monitor AOC F22s + on the other output, expecting to be able to put this to the recommended 1920 x 1080 resolution. Unfortunately, Windows has developed the driver for this monitor "Generic non - PnP" and will not let me set the correct resolution. To the maximum it will allow is 1600 x 1200, (as well as all other resolutions it allows) do not use the monitor at maximum capacity, which is the ratio of evil anyway, so the display seems tense.

  I run Windows Update, so have the latest drivers. I tried to install the other drivers, but nothing helped.

  I tried to unplug the Samsung monitor and restart the PC, so that the AOC, one was the only monitor it and he always had as 'Generic non - PnP' with the wrong resolution.

  Someone at - it ideas? I'm at my wits end. AOC support did not understand and could only suggest that the monitor was faulty, but the place where I bought it insist that it works very well and so no Exchange or get a refund (no restocking fee, which is a RIP-OFF).

  I really want to use both screens and would appreciate greatly any help that anyone can give. I hope I gave enough information. If I didn't, please let me know.

  PROBLEM SOLVED!

  It turned out that my VGA cable was wrong and that it was not send the right signal to the computer. The screen worked fine with a VGA monitor, but the PC has not said that the new monitor is a PnP I tried a different cable and it worked fine.

  2. You are the administrator of your computer?

  You can set up a family safety account or you may be referred by the primary user. For the children of family security controlled, if game Restrictions are lit, depending on the setting you have (lower than 10, teen, mature etc), your child will be able to download applications that meet the coast.

  Here's what I suggest, if you wish to:

  1. Go to https://familysafety.microsoft.com and login as parent
  2. Check the setting of the game.

  You can do two things

  • Put out of the game restrictions or
  • Change the restriction of adult game

  Once your child has downloaded the application, parent go back to the family site, turn on the Restriction of game or set the game side to one appropriate for your child.
