not enough privileges to a procedure

Hello world

the following code:

SYNONYM to CREATE or REPLACE oracle_user.table_name FOR table_name

It works when I run it on the editor of TOAD for Oracle, but it doesn't work when I do it by following a procedure.

The oracle_user script is:

CREATE USER oracle_user
IDENTIFIED BY < password >
DEFAULT TABLESPACE USERS
TEMPORARY TEMP TABLESPACE
DEFAULT PROFILE
RELEASE OF ACCOUNT;
-3 system for oracle_user privileges
GRANT CREATE ANY SYNONYM of oracle_user;
BECOME a GRANT TO oracle_user USER;
GRANT CREATE SESSION to oracle_user;
-1 Tablespace quota for oracle_user
ALTER USER oracle_user QUOTA UNLIMITED on USERS;
-1 object of privileges for oracle_user
GRANT SELECT ON dba_user.table_name TO oracle_user;

I always use TOAD. Why it works when I run it on the editor and not in a procedure run with TOAD too?

Thank you very much for your attention and your time

TOAD, you have all your privileges, granted directly or via a role. You can activate the role and have certain privileges or disable a role and do not have temporaily.
In the stored procedure, you have only the privileges granted directly.

Now imagine that Oracle Corp. has decided that starting from version 12 g + your privileges through role will work in the stored procedures. And you disable a role for a user who has a lot of procedures, functions, packages, types. What causes all PL/SQL objects to become invalid and they need to be recompiled. And invalidated all objects in all other schemas that depend on objects. A massive re-compilation may occur after... a simple SET ROLE statement. And before closing, you can issue statements next to ROLE DEFINED. It would not work.

GRANT CREATE SYNONYM privilege directly to the owner of the stored procedure.

  • Not enough privileges to install a program

    I have problems with windows install, when I try to intall a program I tells me it doesn't have privileges to modify some files even when I click on run as administrator.

    I can't install a new hp officejet 4500 and I have even one of the team members of support was trying to install the software remotely and we still receive an error code 1603 (fearful installer of sufficient privileges) to edit the file X:\TR-SCAN.chm. I tried by their instructions to disable the windows update and disable startup programs and who did not. Help, please.

    Temprarily disable your AV software (or security suite software) while you try the procedures shows it is possible that this software may interfere with the installation process.  Don't forget to turn it back on everything when you're done.

    Try to install the monitor from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx process, then try installing the printer.  If it fails again (as I suspect it will be), then open the process monitor and check to see if it provides information about the cause of the installation problem.  It so, according the results here and we'll see if we can find the problem.  BTW, make sure you do all this logged as an administrator - it will not work if you try to do it as a standard user.

    Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 and see if you are able to proceed with the installation of this mode.  If it still does not work, return the system to normal state, in accordance with the procedures and restart - this procedure will not help to solve the problem.

    Try to start in safe mode (repeatedly press F8 during startup until you see the menu) and repeat the installation of safe mode (if it will let you - it will not allow you to do but it's worth a try).  If this does not work, reboot to return to normal mode.

    BTW, the error message mentions X:\ drive.  You have a X drive on your system?  I can't help to wonder about this file is located in fact and if the question has something to do with an error on the disk you referring to a file on the network of the constructor which you have obviously no access or rights.  Maybe you can get their technical support people to direct you to a location to download a new copy of the software or have them email you (if your e-mail service can handle a file of this size).  The sad truth is that it seems much more a problem with the HP software only a problem with Vista.  If you are talking with people from their tech support once again, ask them if there is another way to lift the printer and running outside the standard method, they tell you to use - there may be alternatives that they disclose or normally use because they are too complicated or because they can cause problems if done wrong (but it can work to help you get installed it).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    I need help please! I tried to download Java Version 6 update 29, but at the end of installation it is says something like "insufficient privileges to complete installation"! How can I fix it? I have a windows XP

    I guess that you have administrator privileges on your machine...

    Half the time, this problem can be fixed by going into the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs, uninstall Java, then reinstall Java from the web.

    The other half of the time, the uninstall will fail.  In this case, run the uninstall troubleshooting utility to this page:

  • Not enough disk space to convert the iPhoto photo library

    My wife iPhoto library has about 9 500 photos. She has a MacBook Air, which has limited hard disk space, so we put his iPhoto library on a SD card (which is still in its SD slot). We decided to convert the iPhone photo library. When the process is started, it happens about 4% on the progress bar when a popup said that there is not enough disk space to perform the task (said to 72GO). How can I complete this process? She wants to ensure its iPhone and iPad Air can all share all the photos via iCloud. Can I put the library of Photos on the SD card too? Once the synchronization of library of Photos with iCloud, not all large digital images disappear from MacBook Air and only a miniature remain (like on the iPhone and the iPad)?

    I decided to try the procedure on my original post on my MacBook Pro.

    I copied the Library.photoslibrary Photos of my MBP to an external hard drive connected to my MBP.

    I did an "Option" + then click on 'Photos' selected the "Library.photoslibrary Photos" on my external hard drive. This produces the following pop-up message:

    "This library contains items to download from iCloud photo library".

    "To download the complete library, delete the incomplete elements, then set this library as the library of the system preferences and activate iCloud photo library. This will disable iCloud photo library on other libraries. »

    "Delete the incomplete items" or "quit".

    I clicked on "Quit" and posted above.

  • Error recovery disc on the Satellite A200 - not enough of space

    After reformatting my laptop toshiba recovery disks will not reload windows because it says that I don't have enough space on my hard drive.

    The error message is the following:
    There is not enough space on S3A6134D502. You need extra 2.34 GB to copy these files.
    S3A6134D502
    Free space: 1.42 GB
    Total size: 1.46 GB

    It seems that he has created a new partition which allows to load windows on the partition being too small.

    Problem is that you have modified the standard settings for the recovery procedure.
    First partition on the disk HARD is called WinRE partition and this partition has a capacity of 1.5 GB.
    When you start the recovery procedure and simply click OK or NEXT all went well.

    I guess you have chosen configuration option and click on the second option to install the operating system on an existing partition.

    What you probably want to do is to install the OS on the C partition only in the second hope or all other partitions will not be deleted or formatted. Right?
    I tested several times on P200 and A200.

    It won't work then only option is to erase the whole HARD drive and before recovery installation starts all existing data and partitions will be deleted and formatted.
    So before you begin installation OS Backup all important data and install OS without changing anything.

  • Installer corrupted Windows - not enough memory is available to process this command error prevents me to update.

    My installer of Windows probably corrupted, as it gives the "this installation package cannot be opened.  "Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package" message during the installation of some programs.  I'm now using Windows 7, but the problem has been around for my Vista installation.  I am unable to do a clean install of the operating system that didn't record because I bought 7 through the Win741.com agreement.
    In addition, when I try to update Windows install, I get the message error "not enough memory is available to process this command."

    I tried several things, like the safe mode, the command msiexec \regserver (maybe wrongly?  "He wouldn't take it without space), and nothing works.  I guess I should add that I tried it works as an admin too, given that always gets mentioned - and probably should be.  Help?

    SQL does NOT include PL/SQL types. This is a PL/SQL type:

    type list_employee_type is table of employee_tmp%rowtype;

    You can use in SQL:

    select * into list_employee_rtn from employee_tmp where job_id = jobId

    You must use a SQL type

    And the full exception you was probably one like this:

    create or replace type emp_scalar_type as object
      (EMPNO NUMBER(4) ,
       ENAME VARCHAR2(10),
       JOB VARCHAR2(9),
       MGR NUMBER(4),
       HIREDATE DATE,
       SAL NUMBER(7, 2),
       COMM NUMBER(7, 2),
       DEPTNO NUMBER(2)
      )
      /

    -- table of emp records
    create or replace type emp_table_type as table of emp_scalar_type
      /

    Now you can use "emp_table_type" in a PL/SQL procedure, and in the select statement.

  • iphone 5 c upwards - not enough memory error

    Plugging my iPhone 5 c to synchronize with iTunes on my desktop (you want to create a restore point) but I get an error message of not having enough free space on my computer - try to delete files and remove the trash.
    I did it, but he has not made a difference (trash is empty and iPhone has 11 GB of free space). I tried to reset the phone, turning the computer power switch & always occurs the same message.
    iPhone software 9.3.4 and iTunes is 12.3.2 - I know the new ios 10, which I don't want to download as we have very limited her download limit.
    Any suggestions?

    Hey there BonesKel,

    I understand that you have a problem with your ability to upgrade to iOS 10 because you cannot create a backup on your computer. Looks like you have enough free space on your iPhone, but you have not enough free space on the computer to allow a backup of your iPhone to reside there. I have a story for you that will help you to free disk space on your computer, allowing you to create a backup iOS through iTunes and continue the update process:

    OS X El Capitan: increase the disk space

    Don't forget that you can always use iCloud to keep a backup of your device iOS as well:

    iCloud: back up your device iOS to iCloud

    Thank you for coming to Apple Support communities and have a great day.
