[nQSError: 36015] obieerpdmigrateutil.exe telling me to call obieerpdmigrateutil.exe

I have a few old 10.1.3.4 RPDs to a test system.  I want to open them in my 11.1.1.7.0 OBI Admin Tool.  Directly gets me the error:

---------------------------

Administration Oracle BI tool

---------------------------

[nQSError: 36015] Please run the obieerpdmigrateutil upgrade utility to upgrade the repository C:\tmp\OBI\foo.rpd.

---------------------------

Ok

---------------------------

No surprise.  So I'm going the OBI command prompt and type one of the following:

obieerpdmigrateutil.exe Pei test123$-I C:\tmp\OBI\foo.rpd - O C:\tmp\OBI\upgraded.rpd

obieerpdmigrateutil.exe Pei test123$-I C:\tmp\OBI\foo.rpd - O C:\tmp\OBI\upgraded.rpd-L C:\tmp\OBI\upgraded.ldif

but the error

[nQSError: 36015] Please run the obieerpdmigrateutil upgrade utility to upgrade the repository C:\tmp\OBI\foo.rpd.

Am I missing something here? To be clear, the second [nQSError: 36015] comes from the utility obieerpdmigrateutil itself, the administration tool no.

Thank you, Eric

Thanks Srini.

In fact, I got obieerpdmigrateutil to work, after one of the rpds opening on a machine with 10g client and realize that I had a password empty RPD and a username admin with 10g of "administrator."  In my case, the syntax

> obieerpdmigrateutil.exe - I C:\tmp\OBI\foo.rpd - O C:\tmp\OBI\upgraded.rpd-L C:\tmp\OBI\upgraded.ldif - U administrator

has worked.  I didn't actually try ua.bat to see if it provided a feedback of error better than obieerpdmigrateutil.exe.

  • Question by trying to open the file from the repository P6Analytics (SPR)

    Hi guys,.

I have deployed Oracle P6 Analytics v1.0 on Oracle BI 11.1.1.3. I am interested in the analysis of the provided repository file sample (OraclePrimaveraP6Analytics.rpd). When I try to open it using the tool of Administration of BI me it requires the password of the RPD. DC I found no matter where I put a dummy and following error appers:

nQSError: 36015 please run the utility to upgrade the repository obieerpdmigrateutil...

In agreement with metalink note ([1271250.1 ID]) error when existing SPR conversion using the obieerpdmigrateutil.exe to try to convert an OBIEE DPR using obieerpdmigrateutil.exe results in the following error message "this file"DBFeatures.INI"is required for the migration of the RPD and could not be located. Make sure that ORACLE_INSTANCE is oriented to a valid instance directory.

For this reason, I have decied to upgrade the RPD using Oracle Fusion Midd Assistantant. I ran, but when specifying details of RPD file it asks me to user name and administrator password. I do not know what admin has been defined for this file of SPR and when you try to upgrade message apperas subsequently:

UPGAST-00170: Impossible to validate the 10 g administrator user name and password to nQsError RPD: 13044 user does not exist in the RPD or doesn't have administrator privileges.

Help me to open the RPD file?

    Thank you

  • Someone locked the Mini iPad (literally)

It is a well written description of my question... Please read carefully, thank you.

I got an iPad Mini of my father on 14 March 2014 as a birthday present at the beginning. Towards the end of July 2015, I sent my iPad Mini to my grandmother in the Philippines. I factory reset the iPad Mini for her to set up his own. Basically, we were FaceTiming each other much until my uncle took the iPad Mini outside to show off and brag about it to his friends. My grandmother called me by phone and told me that the iPad is LOCKED under e-mail address of someone... He said in order to activate the iPad Mini, you must type the password that is associated with [email protected] and enamel is not even my grandmother, or uncle. My uncle confessed that that mini iPad was passed around to view/use people and it turned out that someone he activated as long as their own. I am completely stumped and even I, myself know not even how to completely lock my devices like that.

I told my grandmother to go to the Apple Store and see that if they are going to be any help, unfortunately they have misunderstood telling him to call Apple to remember the password of the [email protected] , when my grandmother specifically told them the issue carefully. The iPad Mini will come back to me and I thought, is there a way to activate the iPad Mini is sustained by a person email without the Apple people think I won it or etc... ? It seems a bit impossible or I don't know... Should I personally go to the Apple Store and ask if they can disable e-mail address of the person?

Thank you all for reading, and I sincerely apologize for this mini test.

All you can do is to locate the receipt of your father for the original purchase (maybe on a record of credit card) and then go into an Apple store with the front desk. You can try without proof of purchase and plead your case, but without proof of purchase, you are not likely to succeed.

  • All hacked with Ransomware on Safari?

On March 4, I got a blue screen telling me to call the representative of Microsoft listed immediately to unlock my Mac Mini I was on Safari but all locked except the blue screen.  Then a record came through my speakers explaining that I have a serious problem and that he should not try to do anything about it until I called the number on the blue screen.  I was unable to do anything on Safari, but was able to open another browser through Firefox.  From there on, I was able to delete all backups time machine current and restored in early March 3.  Everything seems to work ok now, but today I saw an article by Palo Alto Networks, there may be a dormant malware that can resurface three days AFTER infection.  PAN also said that this attack tries to enter backups time machine to prevent which, in my view, that I did to restore control.  I'm not an expert by any means, but I have critical information that I can't afford to lose.  I heard that some have paid a ransom for similar problems.  I thought I was safe with Apple and my small business documents.  I doubt that this question was exclusive to me.  Any information on this topic or how to prevent it from repeating would be greatly appreciated.

The recent ransomware was limited to a certain version of the show, a torrent app. The developer has since published a clean version of their application. It would have shut up together on your computer, not just Safari.

You have encountered a website, appearing usually if you're in a shady site that locks Safari. All you had to do was Force Quit Safari and not visiting sites subject to this kind of popup advertising in the future.

The following comes from user stevejobsfan0123. I made minor changes to adapt to this presentation.

Difficulty of pop-ups in browser that support Safari.

Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.
