OEM Windows license is determined as being non-genuine
I have Sony laptop computer which came with Windows Vista OEM. I was uopgrade to Windows & (also from Sony). When the recent reinstallation of the operating system installation of Windows Vista, and then upgrade to Windows 7, I installed Windows 7 directly using an image original Windows 7 and then used the product key I have upgrade DVD, to activate my Windowes. Although the activation is successful, Windows Update does not work, and I started getting messages that my computer is not running genuine windows. How to solve this problem? Thank you.
Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.
When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer
Click on properties
Scroll down to the Windows Activation
Click the link x days before activation.
Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.
Enter the product key
Click next
Select the Activation of the phone
Click Next when you enter your key page
Select your country
Click Next, call the number listed
Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.
Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent
They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it
Click next to complete the activation.
However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.
15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.
So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

With regard to the update of Windows:
You can reset the Windows Update components by running the Fixit on this page. But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:

Suggest you download and save the Fixit. Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.
I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.

Two days ago Windows 7 Pro has suddenly become non-genuine
Two days ago, I started having a window informing me that Windows 7 Pro on my laptop is not valid. I ignored it, thinking it was just a fluke and would solve itself. There is, unfortunately, no.
I bought my laptop on eBay a few years ago. The COA reads as follows:
Windows 7 Pro OA
Lenovo Singapore
X 15-53895
and my product key. I confirmed that the product in use key is the same as that on the certificate of authenticity.
I followed the instructions on this article http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/getting-error-code-0x8004fe22-stating-windows-is/b42a0ab8-0e75-484f-901e-79ae206b4c12
The window is now gone, but in its place is the next on my screen (bottom-right):
Windows 7
Build 7601
This copy of Windows is not genuine
As I continued to work on this issue, I realized that I now also have the same problems as others have described in the article https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/be3ed187-8ad9-41c8-aab4-3c8a4c81fb48/windows-activation-service-sluiexe-does-not-run-when-started-error-0x8002801d-please-help?forum=genuinewindows7
I.e. Windows Activation Service (slui.exe) does not work on startup. 0x8002801D error.
I crossed the fundamental Event Viewer logs and determined at least when this problem happened first. This is the first instance of anything related to the activation failure.

Windows 7 Professional claiming to be non-genuine after a year and a half of property
I had a computer given to me during my studies in January of 2014, once my studies finished January 2015, I built my own computer, but transferred the hard to avoid the hassle of data transfer. I followed the procedure appropriate for when you change the hardware components, which resulted in a few screens menu to start the new computer, but it never asked me my product key, which I expected.
now, a month later, I woke up to a blue screen failure, and when I rebooted, it said that windows was not authentic. I tried to get the product key, but he refused. I already ran MGAD and you've fixed the results at the end of the message.
For more information, the producer of the computer was Acer, but it has been changed by my old school.

Using a Dell OEM Windows license/w COA on a Dell Server
Hello
I was wondering if it's in Microsoft's EULA to use a Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter license which will be purchased by EBay with original Dell DVD and COA stickers on a Dell server.
The list in question is here: http://www.ebay.com/itm//131778112449
I break my all-purpose words if I purchase these licenses and use them on Dell servers that I own and put the COA sticker on the chassis of the server?
Thank you.

Revalidation of genuine windows 7 key loaded via a non genuine software
Last year, I downloaded a real widows 7 on my pc through the installation online, so I did not copy the disk. That window began to give serious problem of loading in minutes and have hanged. I then reinstalled windows 7 via a CD of the market that was not authentic. I have the product key and the serial number of my copy authentic I need to be revalidated. How to do, thanks.
How are you confident that the DVD that you got the market had not been tampered with?
I guess that the copy of "false" is now installed and wants to be activated? -
You must change the product key to the one on the COA sticker on the case of the machine (or in the battery compartment), using the link change the key of product at the bottom of the system properties page.
You may need to activate by phone.

Standard upgrade to a non-genuine Windows XP?
I did a repair on Win XP installation, used one of several legitimate Win XP Professional CD with one of my several XP license keys.
It was after a physical reconstruction, the new disk, the new config.
This version of windows has failed the genuine validation.
I tried a lot of mods of regedit, different keys; none worked.
Support says Windows XP is not supported, in addition to advice would cost me $99 and I had to upgrade to a new version of Windows.Question:
A standard upgrade of Windows will work on a non-genuine Windows XP in base?
It seems that the 'Get Windows Genuine Online' kit is a clean install, I would rather not rebuild my applications and data.HelloThanks for choosing Windows and thank you for providing an opportunity to help you.
According to the description, you are having problems with the upgrade.
Run the MGAdiag tool; Copy and paste the full report to analyze the problem.Unfortunately, a standard upgrade of Windows will not work on a non-genuine Windows XP in base.Answer to us if you are having problems with the upgrade or any other issue of Windows, and we would be happy to help you.Good day!

Windows 7 Ult has suddenly and bad start showing a message "non-genuine copy".
Since I used it last there two days, my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate has suddenly and bad start showing a message "not real". Enter the correct product key Activation menu causes the message that Microsoft has blocked this key. It's infuriating and totally unfair! No explanation?

OEM Windows installed on a new system and being told that my key is invalid.
Product key problem
A year ago, I bought a version of XP SP3 OEM and installed on a computer (clean install). No problems. A few months later, I had to wipe the drive and reinstall. Once again, no problem. Now I got a new computer, but when I try to install with the same disk (clean install) and the same product key, I like that is not valid. Some things that are not a factor:Damaged drive. The disc is impeccable.Error in the Enter key.Key is not not the disc.I don't see how something other than the computer, the key and installation disc could play a role. I hope that Microsoft does not know what I do in my room. I even traded keyboards, that someone suggested that this could be a factor (speaking with an accent keyboard?).My next step is to wipe the drive and start over, but I think I'll meet the same problem, because players will be the same.Any ideas? After the activation of Windows XP on the older PC, having to reactivate Windows XP is not so rare that are several hardware changes within a short time, not to mention the motherboard.
Change the motherboard is a reactivation guaranteed event. Just change all the RAM, PSU, CPU and made it a videocard in a few weeks. "Activate Windows" more on wikipedia lists the 8 areas checked.
The OEM Windows disk from the manufacturer-, Dell, HP etc. get of course do this even in the BIOS. Dell OEM Windows on a non Dell motherboard, which I thought would do, would lead to shop for an another Windows Installer.
This is how Windows mysteriously know material changes without connection to Microsoft.com - the BIOS chip.
Beware of sellers on ebay with a still sealed OEM disc, but with a touch of product USED or not. OEM disc will work as it clearly says right on it:
"Relocation... CD '. Don't use this software to reinstall the operating system on a computer (mfgr)... For distribution only with a new computer (mfgr). »

due to a major problem, I have to completely remove the operating system (under license). can I still use this key to set up windows again? I have a key to the back of my sticker only computer laptop written "SOFTWARE OEM windows xp". Can I use this key with any windows xp cd? or I have to use a specific version? can u give me the link to download the specific version?
Thanks in advance
You must use the recovery disks provided by the manufacturer (or the integrated recovery system) - see you manual for more details.
The major advantage of this is that all the required drivers should be included, so that you can immediately connect to the internet and install all updates.
Reisntalling using the sysstem of correct recovery also means that you shouldn't need to use the key on your COA stiker - as key to 'master' of the manufactuerer is integrated into the system and should not require activation.

There is a HP machine purchased with preinstalled windows vista home premium and now I want to format the computer so that I can load a license OEM windows 7 on it. I just want to know after the formatting and the license of windows 7 OEM loading if my system will work and also if the windows are enabled.
Please, your urgent response is needed here.
Hello
You don't say where you got the OEM Windows 7 license of.
If you got it from another computer, the answer is no.
If you bought from Microsoft, you can.
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

I have a bunch of license OEM Windows 7 Professional laying hens and forget for a few years in the locker.,.
Now I wonder how it can be used! or there is still a check is still unused or already taken.
WebLink might be good.
Thank you very much
PeterIf these are OEM System Builder licenses, they should be accompanied with reinstall media.
If these are OEM licenses belonging to DELL, HP, Lenovo brand computers, then you cannot install them elsewhere but the computer to which they belong.

Cloan pre-activated license OEM Windows 7 Pro
Hello
We just bought a large number of desktop computers HP ProDesk 600 G1 containing pre-activated Windows 7 Pro (OEM license).
I would like to configure one of these computers with additional software then use imagex or ghost to copy an image from this computer to other office machines.
Can someone provide advice on how I can do this without breaking the windows licensing and activation? Some of these computers are for use by customers using a VLK is an option even if we had a.

I have a laptop that has Windows 7 OEM Home. The laptop had a hardware failure and is not repairable. Can I transfer the operating system of a new generation of computer laptop?
Sorry, but a Windows 7 OEM is not transferable to another PC because it is related to the 1st computer on which it is installed.
Here is the current information System Builders/OEMS 'use' of Microsoft

Your motherboard breaks down, unless the replacement card is the same your OEM version will no longer turn on and can not be moved or transferred to another computer.OEM of Windows 7 versions have the following limitations of 'important ':
(1) OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft
(2) OEM licenses are tied to the computer 1 you install and activate it on.
(3) you cannot reuse/reinstall an OEM version on another computer or another/replacement motherboard.
(4) the OEM versions cannot be used to upgrade an earlier version of Windows, you must perform a
Clean install (this means that your data is saved and the application must be reinstalled). What is software OEM: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/oemsupport_1/en-gb

License OEM Windows 7 Professional 32-bit come with downgrade rights to XP Professional?
If I buy a copy of (System Integrator) OEM Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit, does include downgrade rights to Windows XP Pro?
I build essentially the individual PCs for personal use and small businesses; However, I have a client who seeks PCs 35 at point of sale that will have access to a central server. Although I recommended the use of XP mode in Windows 7, my customer has been informed by its supplier of software that XP Pro is the best option for the current version of the software.
Although I could purchase copies of XP Pro OEM, my concern is that - during the life cycle of these PCs - my client will have to migrate to Windows 7, as new versions of its software point of sale are available. If possible, I would like the opportunity to buy Windows 7 Professional OEM licenses, installation of XP Pro with downgrade rights and later have the ability to change to Windows 7 without having to purchase new licenses. Is it an option if I buy Windows 7 Professional OEM licenses?
Also, I need 35 licenses for a single customer, volume licenses would be more cost-effective? My current Windows 7 Pro OEM or Windows XP Pro OEM price is about $ 150 per license.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Yes, a version of Windows 7 Professional OEM rights to downgrade to Windows XP Professional. Volume license is not a scheme of licensing "for resale.
