Office 2010 Professional build fail

I'm trying to build Office 2010 Pro and I'm having a few problems. Still, the build will fail to about 80%. I'm using VMware Thinapp Version 4.6.0 - 287958 on a clean Vista VM.

I have attached the log message.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Here is a step by step of the instructions on the packaging of Office 2010:

    I uninstalled Office 2010, this has messed up my computer > cannot send the email and my old Office 2002 none no longer works

    My Office 2010 Professional Plus activation failed because I exceeded the number of facilities on my computer.  The computer on which the activation failed now on has many damaged programs operational.  Outlook Express 6 does not emails, send him previously installed Office 2002 does not work, and the computer is extremely slow opening of web browsers and download content.  System Restore did not restore anything at all.

    After the activation failed I of course used Add/Remove programs to uninstall Office 2010.  This is when all programs no longer works correctly.

  • "Cannot display page" error message when you try to download 2010 professional

    Original title:

    Error message on Internet download from trusted sites?

    I am trying to download 2010 Professional on my computer.  Yes, I have a product key.  Whenever I try to download, I get an error message "cannot display the page.  This often happens to me.  Any suggestions?

    Hello

    Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you with your concern for Windows!

    I see from the description of your post, that you are unable to download Microsoft Office Professional 2010.

    If you get the error message in Internet Explorer , then this might be the cause:

    For performance reasons, where Internet Explorer cannot establish a connection to a proxy server, the proxy server is added to a list of proxy servers bad so that it is not reused for a period of time. This period is 30 minutes by default. If a proxy auto-configuration script returns a PROXY list that specifies several proxy servers, a connection to the proxy in the list will be attempted. If the connection fails, the process is repeated until a connection is established, or the list is exhausted. If the list is exhausted and no connection is established, the user will receive a "Cannot display Page" error message in Internet Explorer.

    We would like to get more information about you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

    1. What is the full error message?

    2 are you able to download other files without any problem?

    3. what web browser do you use to download?

    4. what version of Windows are you using? What service pack is installed on the computer?

    5. based on what site are you trying to download?

    You can check the following link to learn more about the error message "cannot display the Page":

  • ThinApp mailing - Activation Office 2010 issue

    Hi all

    I'm new to this community, so forgive me if I did not follow the normal protocol with this discussion.

    Basically I have Thinapped a piece of software called Civica App. The software itself works well until I try to use the mail merge with MS Word 2010. Our Office 2010 Pro, use KMS activation and is installed in the base image. The suite Office 2010 products see the activated when launch you them manually in the VDI environment, so I know KMS works well.

    When we run the mailing of the Civica App Thinapp he launches Word 2010, merges the data into the Word template, and then launches the Office 2010 Installer. The installation program will fail and then we get the infamous "Microsoft Office is unable to verify the license for this application. A repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. Message will now close the Application.

    Isolation mode is only passed in full to the merged on the folder %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto folder/sup and allowed the software write in the itinerant/persona user profile when creating new merger model files and mail (because it is where the software Civica App writes this file). MS Word 2010 features installed for the mailing and they work fine.

    I applied 2 fixes in VMWare KB1022287. I realize account this article talks of when Office 2010 Thinapped himself, but the symptoms are the same. I placed this code in the file config.xml and re-installed Office 2010 in the base image, no luck there:

    "< setting Value ="kmsserver.domain.com"/ >"
    < value = "1" / >

    I also copied and pasted the "Office2010-Osppsvc - Keys.txt" registry entries at the top of the file HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.txt of the Civic App files project and re - build the application.

    There was a suggestion to put the software to the base image, but I have another application with the same problem. This software is by computer based on licensing, so that it can not all put in the base image.

    Note: If I run the App Thinapp Civica on a physical Windows 7/Office 2010 Pro Plus machine, it works fine.

    I am out of ideas now, just so you seek advice if anyone else has experienced this?

    Thanks - Steve.

    OK, if you use civic App ThinApp package with natively installed Office 2010, and on some machines, you get a license error. By default, civic App Launches native binaries of Office in the virtual environment. You can modify package.ini to run Winword in the native environment, and I hope that the license error can be avoided. For example:

    VirtualizeExternalOutOfProcessCOM = 0
    ChildProcessEnvironmentExceptions = Winword.exe
    ChildProcessEnvironmentDefault = virtual

    Here's an example of doing something similar:

    Tried to open Microsoft Office 2010 as usual, but said to give the product key to activate it.  Mine is on a sticker on the bottom of my laptop.  Unfortunately it is place to be where it is that some of the numbers have disappeared over time.  Now I can read only the last 15 digits.

    I'll lose more than a year of work, if I can't get this sort.

    The label on the bottom of your laptop is not for the office. It's your Windows license key. It should say Windows 7 Home Premium above the numbers.

    Most of the HP machines come with a trial of office unless order you it with more full Office and pay extra. The trial usually actually works after the period 60 day trial - unless you do a recovery. After a recovery it will require you to buy a license key to use.
