  Windows 7 made an excellent job using drivers pre installed in Windows to install devices (in this case, the printer) you said you got a new computer, I'm guessing that it is running Windows 7. If this is the case, I would say to go to the printers and devices and remove the HP printer in question (AFTER unplugging the usb cord) once it is finished, I select one of the other printers and go to the top of the window and you will see "Print server" that click and click the driver tab and remove any which HP driver listed for this product.   Once those who are kidnapped, I reconnect the printer to the usb cable and see if it installs...

  Hey Chris. Looks like you may have the old software out there which is not compatiable with the new version of Mac OS X. What I would do is a complete uninstall of the HP software you have. Let's try this:

  We will uninstall with the option 'raccoon' like this:

  1. go in Applications/Hewlett Packard / click on uninstall HP and click on continue

  2. Select your device in the left pane
  3. hold the keys Ctrl, Opt and Cmd and click on uninstall
  4. There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  5. click on continue and let it finish

  Now run a software update. Before doing the next step make sure you connect your printer to the computer through USB. Then click on the Apple in the upper left corner of the screen, then clicking on software updates.

  If my instructions don't do because here's a little video to help out you:

• 128 - GB MicroSD card does not work with the new Clip +.

  My old Clip + (black, 8 GB) was getting very long in the tooth, so I ordered a replacement off Amazon.  As far as I know, it is identical to the old, but a very unpleasant difference is presented - it does not work with the MicroSD card which has been a huge part of why I got a Sansa at all.  He acknowledges, but after a media updated I'm lucky if more than one album appears.  And that's what's so crazy!  You just blow through the update in a few seconds, and when I navigate on the map, there is nothing or a handful of albums random, orphaned.  That's happened?  I updated the new Clip + for the current firmware (as I had done with previous); I made sure to reproduce all the parameters that I would be put in place before--I can't imagine what could be the cause!

  The card is formatted in FAT32 with the same sector size in storage aboard the player (32 768 bytes).

  A 64 GB card format works even without any problem.

  I tried to update the media in MTP and MSC mode; the problem is the same in both.

  There is ample space for MTABLE. SYS - I have not yet loaded all the music on the Clip + itself.

  Rockbox plays the card without problem, but the sound quality is horrible (at least on this player; I'm sure that other versions sound best), and its interface is a headache.  No thanks.

  HM.  Looks like to run CHKDSK /F on the map the problem resolved!

The message advised me to upgrade the operating system on this computer or install this software on any other computer system.  I don't know what to do to get this printer compatible with my new computer.  Is this possible?  Help, please!

  You can activate the Device Manager to view hidden devices by following the steps mentioned below:

  To work around this behavior and display devices when you click Show hidden devices:

  1. Click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, and then click command prompt.
  2. At a command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

     Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

  3. Type the following command a command prompt and press ENTER:

     Start devmgmt.msc

  4. Troubleshoot the devices and drivers in Device Manager.

  Uninstall all software and drivers for printers:

  When you need to uninstall a driver completely, the best and safest method is to use the uninstaller of the device (if it has one). If you have added the device to your system with a Setup program (as is the case with most of the graphics card and sound card drivers, for example), you can uninstall it as you would any other program.

  1. Click Start, type uninstall program, and then press enter.
  2. In the uninstall window, which appears, scroll through the list and find your device or drivers. Double-click the entry to start the uninstall process.

  Sometimes devices will not have an uninstall program or the uninstall program will not appear in the list. In these cases, you can use Device Manager to remove the driver completely.

  1. Click Start, type Device Managerand press enter.
