OfficeJet 6500 not print pdf files.

I had this problem for a while and really need help.  My officejet 6500 not print pdf files. It gives me just a little "beep", gushes out a piece of paper and that's it!  Prints everything else very well.  Removed and installed Adobe updated software, but that did not help.

I found that a McAfee application has been interfering and causes the error.  Removal of this application solves the problem.

Thank you for your response and I am sorry for the delay to return to you.  I tried save the Pages document in a Word document and send it to the printer using ePrint but it is even.  That is to say the handout printed but not the attachment.  However, when we removed the accompanying document and sent the attachment in its own it has worked well for we have managed to solve the problem. • printer does not print Pdf files

as above, computer then presents the pdf text, but I can't print sheets in the printer I need (brother dcp - 117c) any help appreciated

    Hi pcmcgarry,

    (a) this only happens with PDF files?  Do you get specific error messages?

    (b) are you able to print PDF files online?

To determine the cause of the printing problem, I suggest you try the following steps:

Step 1: Print another PDF file, such as the first page of Acrobat Help:

If that file prints correctly, the PDF file that does not print properly may be damaged.

If the file prints correctly, go to step 2.

Step 2: Print another type of file (for example, a .txt file) from another application.

If that file prints correctly, the problem is not systemic - specific to the Acrobat product. However, the way Acrobat interacts with the system may affect printing performance.

Go to step 3 to eliminate some causes related to the system of the problem.

The problem may be system resources low, not enough memory on your printer, or a bad connection between your computer and the printer.

Step 3: Restart your computer and then print a PDF file:

If the file prints correctly, your system may have been out of memory or resources.

If the file prints correctly, go to step 4.

Step 4: Turn off your printer for at least 15 seconds to clear the memory, then turn it back on and print a PDF file:

If the file prints correctly, the printer's memory was too full.

It seems also feeze my entire computer - none of the informants respond well while the document is in the queue. There is no error message. I have no problems with my Photosmart C5180 feel old out of the same material from the same computer (now thrown)

Please, please can someone help because these are important documents that I need to print.

    Thank you

OK, so I managed to fix it myself! The problem seems to be with Adobe Reader. I had upgraded from V9 to the latest version and it seems to be a lot of problems with the thel atest version. I tried downgrading to the V10, but again, the problem occurred (even disable enhanced security mode as suggested by Adobe). Sine V9 is no longer available for download, that I found myself stuck in a vicious circle. In the end, I renounced Adobe altogether and been completely uninstalled. I just download Nitro pdf (free) and everything works as it should. Finally able to print pdf documents!

  • New OfficeJet Pro 8620 does not print PDF files

I have a brand new 8620 and I use Windows 7. My printer prints a few PDFs but not most other PDF documents. I am using Acrobat Reader XI. The printer will print from MS Office.

    HELP, please!

Hello! Welcome to the @lmel forums

I have a few ideas that come to mind, I read the issue you're having with printing of PDF files. They are here!

    1. try to resave the PDF files that do not print and then try printing again.

    2. update of Adobe:

Select help - search for updates. If a new update is available, it installs automatically.
Once installed, you can restart a computer.
Then try to print the PDF file.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/KB/troubleshoot-PDF-printing-Acrobat-Reader.html

    3. run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

    4. uninstalling the printer software

    Restart the PC

Reinstall the printer: HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-all-in-One Printer series full feature software and drivers

That should do the trick! Keep me abreast of the results!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: Print PDF files

Got my HP Officejet 8610 reinstalled after losing all the connections, but now it won't print a PDF file.  Everything is printed, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.  I already have the "Advanced" and "Print image", that does not work.

Try download and install the latest version of "Adobe Reader DC" of the Adobe.com site

Open your PDF file with adobe reader and print from it.  Make sure that the page property is even defined as the paper size in the printer.

  • OfficeJet 6500: Officejet 6500 not printing not

My Officejet 6500 will not print. It is in an error state. I loaded the new driver, uninstalled and installed the printer. He was going well until I installed Windows 10.  Someone at - it ideas?

Well, this should allow you to print:

    1. If the printer is connected via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    4. Right click on all the icons in your printer listed.
    5. Click on remove the instrument.
    6. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
    7. In your type of Services Research and open Component Services.
    8. On the left, click Services (Local).
    9. On the right, do a right-click on print spooler.
    10. Click on stop.
    11. Open your drive C:\, then Windows, System 32, coil, and printers.
    12. Delete everything in this folder.
    13. Return to the Component Services window.
    14. Right-click on print spooler.
    15. Click Start.

Now, if you removed the USB cable, plug it. If this is not the case, go back to the devices and printers and click Add printer to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • C5580 does not print pdf files

My HP Photosmart C5580 all-in-one print and copy perfectly except for PDF files.  When you try to print the PDF files, whether on the web or on my hard drive, a blank sheet of paper is passed through the printer and I get an error message saying there is a paper jam.  However, there is no paper jam.  I contacted HP support twice by phone.  Every time they say they'll call me in 1 hour with the solution, but they do not return calls.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, and now the printer works perfectly.  Hope this helps someone else in the future.

  • OfficeJet 6500 not print black... again

Still, my Officejet 6500 tr does not print in black except for a word document that I have on my desk. It happened after I exchanged the cartridtges of three colors. I did the reset partial and I removed and re-installed all the cartridges and still NOTHING except for the word document.

I really can not kept wasting time like this. HP come with a fix or I will go to another manufacturer.

I can NOT KEEP LOOSING TIME LIKE THAT.

I'm happy to help you and I really hope that I can get to a quick solution for you.  Now that I know that the document above did not work, I'm almost certain that this is a problem with the print head because you found on all cartridges exclamation points, and your response, it seems to happen a lot.  This print head is expensive and hard to find, so here's what seems to work for everyone...

    -Black ink does not.

I generally do not offer soaking the print head immediately, not without some certainty.  In your case, it seems that this is the time.  I could offer document after document but I have a good feeling, that's where it will end anyway, and no more time should be wasted. You have more important to worry about (like your home) functions.  Try the steps listed above in the Bob_headrick method, and I really hope that it works.  I still have to read where it made things worse, but keep that in mind please. User discretion is advised with any unconventional method.

If you find yourself always with remnants of ink, keep it in a ziplock bag so it won't leak or evaporate and I hear that you can store it in the freezer if you need to save it for later. And let me know how it goes!

  • HP Photosmart C4580 does not print .pdf files

With the help of a MacBook Pro, I can print anything using Pages, Numbers, Safari.  But when you try to print a .pdf file I can't print anything.  Instead, I get an error message: "opening printer connection failed: cannot open the connection to the printer."  Please check your printer connections and search for printing errors. »

But I don't have any errors.  And, once again, I can print all kinds of other things, just not this or other .pdf files.

    Ideas?

Well, by trial and error, I found a way to do it.  Press PRINT, then hit ADVANCED and then check the box that says PRINT AS IMAGE.  Then, it worked for me.  It seems strange that printing is impossible without convoluted to do.

  • HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw color multifunction does not print PDF files

I recently met a problem where my HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw color multifunction wouldn't print the PDF files.  I tried printing from a snippet, Adobe Reader, Word and PDF Pen Pro and the document will not print.  But the printer had no problem printing other formats like JPG, etc. DOCX from the same computer before and after.

What has happened is that the computer said he sent the document to the printer and the printer screen showed "Print Document" momentarily - but then the screen of the printer would return to the ready screen and the document will not print.  There are no indications that the printer was having a problem.

I reinstalled the drivers of HP - no change.

Finally, I was able to print the document open in Photoshop and save as a JPG file.

I am running OSX 10.9.2.  on a MacBook Pro.

When I went to add a printer, the only choice of HP, I got was 'HP LaserJet CM1415fnw @ Mac Book Pro' which is described as a generic PostScript printer.  It did not work when I tried to print a PDF file.

I then removed the printer and reinstalled it - and I see that in the last step of the installation, I had several choices.  The default choice is the print version of air, I chose the version that showed a printer HP Laserjet series CM1410.

    Problem solved.
