OfficeJet 6500 Series E709A: aligning the print heads whenever the printer on

Replaced print head cartridge-door and put new cartridges.  Now, every time I power the printer, he gets head alignment mode and print a correct page.  I press the OK button and the printer works correctly then.  It is the second replacement in two years.  Had no problems the first time.

Don't know where you answer correctly on this problem that I reported.

After trying all the options that have been proposed and did not get a resolution of the problem.

I tried the only other possibility was not offered.  I bought another head of HP ink replacement

which is where I had bought that does not.

The new replacement of HP has solved my problem.  The printer works properly.

I guess I get out of $70.00 for non-functional replacement, unless someone wishes to

give me a contact who does not send back them on where

I created his exactly the way I created his own. The other difference is our routers.

I have reset the router, phone, computer, internet, printer box! its on the same WiFi as the computer and phones.

the software is updated on the phones and the printer.

I have a linksys router rangeplus wireless model # WRT110<>

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 192.168.1.100 a.149.  We will use 192.168.1.200 for your printer.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway

-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8.  Enter to the second DNS 8.8.4.4.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

If it is a BT Home Hub, they don't play well with HP wireless printers.

You can try this - remove all instances of your printer in Control Panel > devices & Printers. Then:

  • Impossible to scan, fax, or copy of HP Officejet 6500 All-- E709a One in

I can print from my HP Officejet 6500 All - in - One-E709a, but I can't scan, copy or fax.  All drivers and updates are underway; No recent updates have been made before the problems that occur. I use Windows 7 64-bit.  When the printer is turned on, it still shows Original charge, but no documents are in the charger or on the glass (I already cleaned the glass and have ensured that the lid is tightly).  I have problems to scan, copy and fax. The automatic document feeder works.  I tried to reset the printer several times.

When I try to scan a document into the document feeder (it feeds through) or from the glass, I get varying answers - rarely, he asked well how I save/handle the doc (e.g., save them in pdf format), but the document does not actually scan and I'm headed to reload the document OR it displays no. Scanning Options. The document does not appear in my analysis.

When I try to copy, it shows the document as copy, but there is a long delay before the progress bar occurs.  When I copy using the document feeder, I actually get a copy (rarely and always disappeared - looking) or copy prints white - two results are always followed by an error message to reload the document.  When you copy from the glass, the copy print in white with an error message to reload the document

The same problems occur when you try to Fax.   If trying to scan, copy or fax, the printer does a lot of gears whirring noises.

Again, I can print a document from my PC without any problem, the problem is limited to scanning, faxing and copying.

I tried the doctor of printing & scanning HP.  It always stops at the HP Twain scanning stage, saying that the scanning process was cancelled by the user (not true).  When I click on continue, it proceeds to the stage of Test analysis, but nothing happens when I click the button of Scan Test.  It only will allow me to ignore at this point.   All the other steps show green checks.

My first question is really going to reach the merits of the case, I heard you say that the printer produces noise, but if you lift the bar A) trip through the screen and the light cover B) up?

In addition, perform both of these resets and I would like to know how they are!

  • Support for HP Officejet 6500 is stuck to the right

My HP Officejet 6500 cartridge cradle is stuck to the right and won't spend. It also reports a paper jam, although there is no jam. I use Windows 7.

I tried the tips in the videos of support, but it does not help.

    Please notify.

    Hello Kristen,

Sorry for the late response - I see your message until now.

I hope that you have already found a solution now, but in case you haven't:

As I remember, I just searched the Web for HP authorized service providers.

In my country (Israel), there were only 2, so it was not difficult to choose :-) and then I just called them.

Moreover, in my case the repair cost about half the price of a new printer, a newer model, which comes with ink cartridges and arrives at your House. Because I needed the printer of emergency for commercial purposes, I chose to fix the damaged, but if I didn't need it right now, I would probably chose to order a new, rather to bother with going to the service provider with the printer, and then goes again to pick up the printer fixed.

    Hope that helps.
