  • OfficeJet pro K8600 prints not true black, or in B & W or color. Windows 7 64 bit

My digital photo doesn't have a true black black & white or color printing.  The darker areas are green / grey, regardless of the quality of the paper.

    Hello CJB27,

Welcome to the Forums of HP consumer printer.

Maybe it's that the black ink is not used at all (the color ink is to 'create' black). To test this, you'll want to print a diagnostic page by:

Press and hold (power button), press (cancel) button seven
time, press (curriculum vitae) twice and release (power button).

Once you have printing, see the following article for troubleshooting (this article is for the K7000 series, but it works well enough for this problem):

  • OfficeJet 6500 cannot print in dark black

Recently my Officejet 6500 was able to print in dark black.  If I print something that has gray in it, it can print the gray, but black comes out white.  Color printing very well.  In this case if I print from mac or windows.

I tried to print a report from print quality, but none of the black appears, as the colors.  Also, if I try to make a copy in black and white of something, I just get a blank page.

I tried to reset the printer to turn it off and unplug the unit for 30 seconds; did not help.

I tried to replace the black cartridge with a new; did not help.

I tried to clean the print heads; did not help.

Any ideas?  What could cause this?

Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges not refilled? I would look at this document here. It addresses the issues of quality of printing to your printer output. It will give you the different troubleshooting steps to try to try to resolve the problem you are having with the printer. When cleaning the print head via the utility I'd do all levels of cleaning if it proposes to achieve an intermediate and advanced level one as each cleaning is more energetic in trying to remove cause obstruction of nozzles.

If you reach the end of the document and are still unable to print, I would then do a manual cleaning of the print head, as stated in the user manual in paged 231 - 235.The reason to do a manual cleaning is to ensure that the accumulation on the print head is not the cause of the issue of the print quality. I would also like to wipe the contacts inside the print head where the cartridges sit to ensure that he has does not accumulate here it is the source of the problem. 148 to 151 pages show how to manually clean the cartridge contacts too.

    Hey kennethwk

Here are some measures you can take to try to get your iPhones reprint

    1. Unplug your router and your printer from power. Cut your iPhone (completely off, not only locked.) Wait 30 seconds
    2. Plug in your router. Expect that your router is entirely online (usually takes 30 to 60 seconds)
    3. Plug your printer. Wait until it returns to its home screen
    4. Turn your iPhone
    5. Try to print

  • Large format HP Officejet 7500 a: print head for my large Format HP Officejet 7500 a

    Hello

I have a printer of e-all-in-one large Format HP Officejet 7500 a - product E910a No.: C9309A serial no: [personal information deleted]

I need to replace the print head.

I found this on HP page http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02271166 they said it use the CN643A

On a support HP cat, what they said use CN642A.

On another page of HP, they said use CH638A.

The CN642A is now 5 HP564 ink cartridges, but still the HP web page said that it will work in my HP Officejet 7500 a large format using the HP920 cartridge.

I found other heads of printing on the web article CD868-30001 model number and on the web page of HP were unable to match the part number for a list of available models.

Now my big question including the number of pieces to the correct print to my printer head?

    Hello

I offer my apologies. It should have been if your printer uses 4 ink cartridges, type CN643A

Please click HERE to access the document to see what print head fits into your printer.

Check under Solution 4: replace the print head.

Step 2: Order the print head

    He states:

If your printer uses 4 ink cartridges, type CN643A

If your printer uses 5 ink cartridges, type CN642A

Please ignore my previous post where I suggested CN642A.

  • Old printer prints not more.

My Brother HL-720 worked for years until what I moved, now it is not there. I reinstalled and it says it's done, but then when I press Finish, there is an error saying that it could not be completed.  How can I get my printer to work again?

Your system has some problems - but errors in Device Manager do not appear to be linked to your printer.  You do not have a modem to work... but maybe you don't care to.  You probably can safely with the right button at least two "other devices" and choose uninstall.  If the material is always physically present, Windows will try to reinstall the next time.

The cyclic redundancy check error is troubling.  As far as I know, this may mean either there is a problem with the data on your hard drive or there is a communication problem with the printer (I don't know if the communication with the printer is part of the driver installation procedure, but I guess it is).

It is easy enough to check the disk, then you must do the following:

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Type the following in the black command prompt window and press enter
    • CHKDSK c: /f
    • Answer o to the question on the planning of an audit to the next reboot
    • Restart your computer
    • Allow the disc to check complete

My suspicion, however, is that the problem is related to communication between the printer and the computer.  Without physical access, I can't tell you if the problem is in the computer, the printer or the cable.  What I suggest you do, is disconnect the cable from the printer and the computer and carefully inspect the pins at the end of the cable that connects to the computer to make sure they are not bent or missing.  If you want to take a chance that the cable is bad, it's a replacement: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=913&sku=02300 I hesitate, but to suggest that you start buying things on a guess.

What I suggest is that you do the chkdsk above procedure, then the driver more in depth cleaning steps below.  If the problem persists, take at least the printer (if it is the printer and the computer) to an independent computer repair shop.  I wouldn't go to a BigBoxStoreUSA type or place geeksquad.  These places is not likely to become familiar with the old material as your printer.  In fact, you probably should phone a few stores and ask if they can see if they have a computer with a parallel port that they can use to test your printer and your cable to see if it is the problem.

Usually, removing printer drivers, as described in an Article will fix things to the top.  A more thorough cleaning method is described to http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm starting below step 5 (steps 1-5 are essentially the same as in his first Article).

You can download cleanspl.exe under Windows 2003 (link in the above page) Resource Kit or directly to http://honestpchelp.com/2011/cleanspl-exe-print-spooler-cleaner/ the first is a true Microsoft site, but this is a larger download because it includes a lot of tools that you don't need.  This last link is probably OK, but if you do trust it is to you.

Otherwise, you can do things manually as described in the first page linked above starting by "Here is how to clean stuff print spooler if cleanspl.exe is not available or you prefer to do things manually."  There are two changes: in step 9, issue the command net stop spooler and only to step 14, only issue the net start spooler command.

I don't think you need to do the steps 15 to 17 (although they wouldn't hurt).  If the problem addressed by these steps is present, the print spooler does not start (and you would not have been able to use the Add Printer Wizard).

  • OfficeJet 7500 a: print tabloid pages

I got no problem with printing pages tabloid of Autocad on this printer so far.  I had to replace my computer this weekend.  AutoCAD no longer allows me to print 11 x 17.  It does not list this option paper format.  In fact, he told me that this printer will not support this paper size.

My new computer is a desktop HP Envy.  The operating system is Windows 10.  I work with Autocad 12.  My olde computer was a desktop HP Pavilion, also Windows 10 computer, and I have not had any problems with tabloid pages print in Autocad 12.  Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP forum.

You can download and install the software COMPLETE features of HP printing for your operating system:

Once you have downloaded and installed the software, FULL of features, you will be able to print and scan.

The tabloid size option should be in the print driver after you install the FULL features software.
