OfficeJet 6500 a print is more black

It seems that I too was victim of the issue of "change the cartridge and cannot print.

I changed the black cartridge, cleaned the heads several times and nothing.
Print many pages of test - color... Black work does not work.

I confirmed that the cartridge is properly ventilated.  I even checked to see if the filter to print screen

head was clean (it was).   I don't really want to order a new printhead, if this isn't the issue and I don't want to

to run out and buy a new printer.

Worked perfectly to what I lack of ink this morning... help!

Recently my Officejet 6500 was able to print in dark black.  If I print something that has gray in it, it can print the gray, but black comes out white.  Color printing very well.  In this case if I print from mac or windows.

I tried to print a report from print quality, but none of the black appears, as the colors.  Also, if I try to make a copy in black and white of something, I just get a blank page.

I tried to reset the printer to turn it off and unplug the unit for 30 seconds; did not help.

I tried to replace the black cartridge with a new; did not help.

I tried to clean the print heads; did not help.

Any ideas?  What could cause this?

Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges not refilled? I would look at this document here. It addresses the issues of quality of printing to your printer output. It will give you the different troubleshooting steps to try to try to resolve the problem you are having with the printer. When cleaning the print head via the utility I'd do all levels of cleaning if it proposes to achieve an intermediate and advanced level one as each cleaning is more energetic in trying to remove cause obstruction of nozzles.

If you reach the end of the document and are still unable to print, I would then do a manual cleaning of the print head, as stated in the user manual in paged 231 - 235.The reason to do a manual cleaning is to ensure that the accumulation on the print head is not the cause of the issue of the print quality. I would also like to wipe the contacts inside the print head where the cartridges sit to ensure that he has does not accumulate here it is the source of the problem. 148 to 151 pages show how to manually clean the cartridge contacts too.

    Hi AZGUY47,

I'm happy that has managed to solve the problem for you, most of the time. Individual programs sometimes do not hold settings, if it is not set in the driver itself. If you have time, you can certainly try to check the updates of Chrome or uninstall/reinstall Chrome as well.

  • OfficeJet 6500 e709: printer carriage stuck far right - no. paper jams

    Hello community,

Recently my carriage of the printer on my HP Officejet 6500 E709n simply ceased to pass on the right side. I turn on my printer and he came with a message of paper jam.

I checked and traveled all Paper Jam troubleshooting steps and the steps to move the printer, nothing helps.   said videos and done all suggested steop nothing helps.

The last thing I printed has 3 addresses on envelopes. I have placed all three envelopes in the tray at the top of a stack of paper that was already there. The first envelope print, while the second has picked up two envelopes - but printed on the top - except, I noticed the corner of the return address, although entirely in tact, had a small spot of ink. I replaced the third envelope and it printed fine.

Please, can someone help me solve this problem?

    @JohnnyBones, welcome to the forums!

I read your post about the question of jam of transport that you are facing with the Officejet 6500 Wireless printer. I understand that you have already tried the recommended troubleshooting guides, I posted below, does not.

The following suggestion I have would be to ask to HP directly to see about having the printer repaired or replaced. If the issue was fixable, the troubleshooting steps should have helped!

    1. One "original jam: clear jam and press OK"message for HP Officejet and Photosmart all-in-One Series Printer.
    2. "A 'carriage jam' or ' 0X610000F6" message for HP Officejet 6500 (E709a) and 6500 wireless (E709n and E709q) all-in-One printers

  • OfficeJet 6500 only prints the top of the page

Have a problem with getting my Officejet 6500 to print the entire page.  Top of the body impression seems to be running on the top of the page, as if the paper was not inserted enough away early in the cycle of printing.  Became "paper mismatch" error message briefly, but that does not appear now.  To check the installation of the printer for proper paper size (8.5 "x 11").  Was printing normally until recently.  Uninstalled and reinstalled HP web page software.  Any suggestions?

    Problem seems to be resolved!

The printing Assembly that fits into the back of the unit was not completely seated.  There is no warning generated unit that the Assembly was not in place, just erratic behavior and various messages like "out of paper" and jamming of paper.  I recommend that if you are having similar problems, that you check carefully that the back print Assembly is properly inserted into the machine.

  • OfficeJet 6500 not print pdf files.

I had this problem for a while and really need help.  My officejet 6500 not print pdf files. It gives me just a little "beep", gushes out a piece of paper and that's it!  Prints everything else very well.  Removed and installed Adobe updated software, but that did not help.

I found that a McAfee application has been interfering and causes the error.  Removal of this application solves the problem.

  • OfficeJet 6500 not print black... again

Still, my Officejet 6500 tr does not print in black except for a word document that I have on my desk. It happened after I exchanged the cartridtges of three colors. I did the reset partial and I removed and re-installed all the cartridges and still NOTHING except for the word document.

I really can not kept wasting time like this. HP come with a fix or I will go to another manufacturer.

I can NOT KEEP LOOSING TIME LIKE THAT.

I'm happy to help you and I really hope that I can get to a quick solution for you.  Now that I know that the document above did not work, I'm almost certain that this is a problem with the print head because you found on all cartridges exclamation points, and your response, it seems to happen a lot.  This print head is expensive and hard to find, so here's what seems to work for everyone...

    -Black ink does not.

I generally do not offer soaking the print head immediately, not without some certainty.  In your case, it seems that this is the time.  I could offer document after document but I have a good feeling, that's where it will end anyway, and no more time should be wasted. You have more important to worry about (like your home) functions.  Try the steps listed above in the Bob_headrick method, and I really hope that it works.  I still have to read where it made things worse, but keep that in mind please. User discretion is advised with any unconventional method.

If you find yourself always with remnants of ink, keep it in a ziplock bag so it won't leak or evaporate and I hear that you can store it in the freezer if you need to save it for later. And let me know how it goes!

    Hello

    1. which version of the operating system are you using?

2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Method 1:

Try the HP Print and Scan doctor.

  • Windows folder instead of the Officejet 6500 icon icon has more E710n in devices and printers

Can someone help me get the OfficeJet 6500 has more e710n printer to display correctly in devices and Printers icon?

I have recently reinstalled Windows 8.1.  However, when I installed my printer, the printer icon in devices and printers, I get a generic Windows yellow folder icon.  The Fax icon is OK, just the printer icon is wrong.

If I double click the icon, I get a blank page with a message near the top of the page saying: 'information updates are available on your device.  Click here to download or learn more. "If I click on the notice, a drop down menu appears with 'Download update of information' or 'Learn' more.  If I choose Update downloaded information, a new printer window appears which is often empty except for a message in the center of the window that says "no task is available on this page" to learn the most fair option gives me info on the update of drivers.

The icon of the printer in the start menu is fine.

I used HP Print and Scan Doctor uninstall and reinstall my printer, but it did not help.  The program finds a problem with the printer driver and the fixed, but that has not changed the icon either.

I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit fully up to date and used the full version of the HP Installer for the printer (not the basic version) and HP Print and Scan v4.6 doctor.

  • My HP OfficeJet 6500 wireless printer prints slowly with very long breaks during printing...

I saw a very old post on this but no solution so I'll try a new position.

Also, I'm not sure I'm even barking to the top of the tree on the right.

My PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and is up-to-date with all the updates.

Recently my Officejet 6500 a more printer E710n-z began to print very slow with long breaks and, in some cases, falling output and in other cases simply do not print.  If I print the various printer and cartridge of test pages from the printer itself, they have long breaks but seem to finally print correctly.  I've been playing with that try to circumvent the problem as long as I'm not really sure print the (from the front of the printer) are always correct.

I uninstalled the printer and all its associated and software reinstalled using the latest download available on the HP support site, but it made no difference.

After sanding my teeth to a measure of costly troubleshooting, I bought a set of completely new and installed HP cartridges.  Once again, no difference.

You don't know if it is a herring or not but when I printed him using both iPrint from my iPhone, as well as the HP ePrint feature email, while still having the very long pause he eventually print a text message only correctly.

Finally, on the first time I printed the properties/test page it printed the HP, logo, displayed while the ink was drying for what seemed like a minute ago, powered form to another page, delayed for awhile and then printed broadband nonsense, form fed once again, and after another long break printed what appeared to be the upper third or the word Windows.

Sometimes when printing from the iPhone, it will display a low ink message - even if it has a new set of cartridges HP - and sometimes the PC displays an error saying: he can't communicate with the printer.  Can I still access the printer with the function of Windows printer or HP web access so clearly the wireless network connection is still viable.

What do you think?  This old printer a year and a half has simply turned into an opportunity to mimic the famous scene copied from office space?  Or has someone else observed or experienced this and knows how I could solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for help you what can offer?

    Howard

    Redmond, WA

Thank you.  The article that you included was one of the first I found when I started researching this issue.  I also found articles on other uninstallation methods, as well as to remove and clean the printhead - everything I tried.

Only, the printer is connected to the wireless network.  The power is connected directly to a wall outlet that I follow for the level of tension and the power used.

The problem seems to be resolved now.  If she does not return to its recalcitrant ways in a few days, I will consider this closed.

    Here's what I did...

I was trying to uninstall from the control panel.  I noticed that when I would get the ini file, read all entries in the menu 'Start' mistake had been removed, but immediately after recognizing the error it would make it back to the starting point and put everything back the way he found.  I tried to use the Task Manager to kill msiexe point of error, but it could still roll back.

Then, for who knows what reason, I tried running uninstall directly from the menu start.  This time, when he stopped and I killed the uninstall process, he stayed collapsed.  I then used the Fusion driver to remove any HP printer drivers that followed RevoUninstaller Pro to find and remove all files followed by CCleaner to clean the registry and associated registry entries.  I'm not advertising or advocating, these are just the tools I've used.

After a reboot, the printer seems to be [finally] completely gone.  I installed the software again and this time it seems like it should be and [so far at least] works properly as well.  I do not think that I messed up [voluntarily] with this printer because I bought a few years ago.  I don't know what caused it, but it seems that I had several instances of competitors or software drivers in layers.

I made a clone of the disc and then tried again to uninstall the printer.  Even if it was just after a successful installation and a reboot he would always leave with the same error "Unable to read" in the same place.  The error code in the case where the file is the same as that used by other systems for "not enough contiguous disk space.  I have 384 GB free on a 1 TB drive and Norton reorganizes the disk every week so that the error number can be a distraction, but I have yet to find something better to inform me.  What initially may also be why the restore will not complete successfully or the other.

Ah the joys of PC ownership.  You have to wonder how many PCs get retired every year simply because the owner has not been enough tech-savvy and pay someone else's expensive with no guarantee of success.

    Sigh...
