  You must ensure that you have the attributes that are "certifiable". Assuming you have imported accounts, go to 'Administration'--> 'Resource Types' and select the attributes you want to testify against. Don't create a certificate that includes users with certifiable attributes

• No reliable connection to Twitter, even after the addition of a security exception

  I use Firefox on my desktop behind a corporate firewall and a server re-issuance of certificates of security from secure sites. As with many other users, it only normally leads to the trouble of having to manually add exceptions of security for https sites. However, for Twitter.com, even that won't work. First I received the login message not trusted with "the certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided." Then I enabled browser.xul.error_pages.expert_bad_cert, but all that has happened is that the error message reloaded.

  I tried to remove the certificate, the cookie, cache, history, the cert8.db file and tried also in mode safe with all the addons disabled, still no luck. I had no such problem with IE9 on the same computer or Firefox on my computer (Windows XP) or my Android tablet.

  The security of Mozilla a year ago thread indeed looks exactly like my problem, it's a shame that's happened apparently nothing on the improved for the MitM proxies support.

  At first, I could load Twitter after deactivation of network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist and the creation of an exception. I'm confused about certutil: what I only compile source code or what?

  Now I don't have to manually cancel for all new https sites and Twitter load normally, too.

• Is there a way to disable built-in to Firefox (HTTP Strict Transport Security) HST list or to allow exceptions?

  TGV is problematic in that it assumes wrongly that all trusted users to the default list of certification authorities and makes adding exceptions impossible even by advanced users.

  For example, torproject.org is inaccessible from Firefox, unless I'm willing to trust DigiCert to never sign a false certificate, either by negligence or by order of the Court of any country in which they operate, thus making each https: site (not only torproject.org ) vulnerable to a MITM attack.

  A user disabling cases in the browser is not unreasonable given the ever-growing list of CAs integrated into Firefox (each a potential point of failure), the number of cases which have been recently compromised and very low standards required to obtain a certificate.

  Although I understand the desire to protect the average user who does not understand how to work certificates and click without reading the latest warnings, this protection should not be at the expense of more security aware users.

  I would recommend a topic: config which would create exceptions by users who explicitly choose to do so.

  So far the hack only that I could have happened must change c:\program files\mozilla firefox\xul.dll with a hex editor and replace the sites on the list (it's far from an ideal solution).

  This seems to work: right click > New Integer ( test.currentTimeOffsetSeconds the name and value for example 11491200 or higher) in Subject: config. You may now erase the Cache and active connections with time to clear everything via Tools (Alt + T) the value > clear recent history.

• Certificate disappears from the Certification authorities store of trust roots

  Recently, I tried to connect to the network wireless protected at my University.  The process is to install the root certificate and specifying as trusted root certification authority when you configure the wireless authentication settings.  However, the installed certificate does not appear in the list of CAs root of trust, despite my having (supposedly) the certificate successfully installed Racines (TRCA) trust in the Certification authorities store.  I studied the certificates by running certmgr.msc (in particular, I searched this program name, right click and choose "Run as Administrator").  The certificate was not in the TRCA folder.  I've tried several things:

  • Installation of the certificate through the certmgr program: I click the TRCA file and in the window 'Object Type' I double-click the Certificates folder.  In the toolbar choose Action-> all tasks-> Import...  The Certificate Import Wizard as I navigate on the certificate, click the button "Place all certificates in the following store" and navigate to the Certification authorities folder roots of trust.  I cliquerai on finish, and after a few seconds, I get a window saying that the import was successful.  The list of certificates in the TRCA store hot flashes, but the new certificate does not appear.  I think it is automatically removed from the TRCA Bank when the list of certificates is updated (see below).
  • According to the method described above, I am unable to install the certificate in another folder (for example personnel or trusted publishers) except the TRCA folder.  The certificate continues in these files when I refresh or restart the certmgr program.  I am able to copy the certificate, then paste in the TRCA folder, and in this case it actually appears.  However, she disappears from the TRCA folder as soon as I click Refresh or restart the Manager.
  No idea why the certificate is in the process of disappearance?  The TRCA is protected somehow?  Thanks for your help!

  with the standard tools of Windows 7 (built in, absolutely no external except for PsExec suite, is it possible to get certification information from a local computer (or use of psexec, external machine) including the name and the date limit?) I really didn't need other information... This would be really useful if I could get a quick answer!

  A very simple example of separation of Duty (SoD), it is that for example, the same manager should not be responsible for asking budget increases and their approval as well especially if it's his own.

  OIA is an inherited, acquired through Sun application that could make SoD, certification, statement at a time where IOM could not really do it again. At that time, it was necessary, but with the new versions of the IOM from R2, especially the PS3, everything that the feature was added in IOM and OIA isn't really necessary.

  I are actually eligible for your first condition since my employer is a partner of Oracle.  That said, I don't take the OCS reviews in order to earn stars of gold for my employer.

  Reviews of the OCS are less technically oriented types of certification. They are intended for vendors and integrators that need to be able to talk about his products and reasonably knowledgeable Oracle making.  Exams I've taken were much more focused towards the fact that there is a given feature and functionality, there with the implementation of the function in the real world. This is not to say that the information that you need to learn how to pass exams of the OCS are not valid. It's good to know what are the features of Oracle products. I have been asked by my employers and past to the opportunity to integrate the feature 'X' into our solutions. Preparation for OCS-level exams can give you an overview of how (or if) given the capabilities of Oracle products can help (or not) in a given situation.

  That said, the OCP and OCE certifications are much more valuable when you really want to learn how to use the various technologies of Oracle.

  I'm not sorry that I was late on this. Matthew responded beautifully. We ask that candidates stop using certificates and logos when their certifications become inactive. In reality, we cannot police. Or what we want. Our goal is not not to punish someone for not to bend to our will. The goal is to help candidates upgrade and improve the program for all participants.

  All the certifications that holds a candidates who are not part of the requirement for recertification will be always considered as being active in CertView. CertView is updated to reflect clearly what certifications are active and which are not.

• IOVP NIC certification broadcast test case failed due to "VM is in an invalid POWER State"

  Hi, I use workbench 3.0.2 to run VMware Esxi 5.5 U2 NIC certification.

  I spent the first 3 automated cases: Install::Driver:VIBwithTestKey, Install::Config:Driver Update, Version_Check.

  Now I'm stuck with the case of dissemination because of the error "VM is in an invalid POWER State", but it's ok for me to start the VM manunally.

  2 virtual machines are created and fully automatically started on host by workbench, and two of them are assigned the same name 'vtafVM1_192.168.49.168_4740'.

  I fixed it by name NIC different setting on the host and to the. If I put the test both network adapters on the host and the slot the same name, for example, the two vmnic4, starting the virtual computer fails; If I put one like vmnic4 and the other as vmnic5, the virtual machine starts ok.

  I think it should be a bug in the combination of test IOVP NIC.

• After Effects Certification what in store for the future of the AE

  I'm about to sit down to review the ACE for AE. I take the test CC, but found almost no documentation for the review, except a 1 page PDF from Adobe. uCeritfy is the best option, but it goes back to CS5, which helps somewhat, but of course, there was a lot of changes. When I visit the facebook page of Adobe ACE, I see only icons for other main products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Indesign) same goes for finding materials tests, only four is covered with up-to-date information. I wonder why? Why Adobe offers a test, but has no text available courses? Is After Effects gradually put off / combined with another product like Premiere pro? Would like to know how useful this certification will be in the future. Mr. Kiprova?

  There is a review of ACE for AE, but I am surprised that you did not find resources for Ae CC test.  There are relatively few applications for ACE Ae test, but it is there.

  Adobe did not announcements of merger or phased out After Effects, and an ACE is always a reliable indicator of a facilitator dexterity and problem-solving.
