Old update failures never die?

I have dozens and dozens of failures of the update!

I'm afraid that this does not affect only how that proceeds to my laptop, but is also preventing the most recent update attempts to succeed.

There are a variety of types... security definitions/updates updates/Malware removal tools/windows update/security updates cumulative...

Most of the attempts failed are 2014 & 2015. Most is listed as "Important."

These things sound !

They say they are important!

Are they important? If so, what can I do?

Suggestions or ideas please...

  • Question is about the old updates

I was wondering if it is OK to remove your old updates as long as you keep your update?  Ex: microsoft visual C++, Advisor to hp total care.

    Thank you

    Young-One,
Windows updates it is not recommended that you delete the old updates.  It is possible that there are updates that interact with the older.  As for the HP advisor is an OEM program so you would need to check with HP on the feature of this. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

    Two possibilities:
