• Apple Apps Pro not usable since the last installed updates

  On 19 December 2015 the following has been installed on my computer: 1) 2015 update security-006 version 1.0.  (2) Itunes version 12.3.2. (According to the App Store update page; this one was installed twice).

  Computer has begun to install updates automatically while I was working on a track. I chose to not not to allow the computer to restart and led updates to continue at a later date.  I finished work, off the Mac til the next morning.  When I tried to work, suddenly LPX operates now that it has a weight of 1000 live births by dragging it down.  CPU and HD m remain lit all the way to the top and take a long time to calm down.  Sound level meters don't update in real-time and data audio and midi will be properly synchronized.  I hear a blurry/airy sound on the left stereo channel (it looks like warp any) during audio playback as well. Tried rebooting, shutdown/restart etc... Disk utility says no problem detected.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  I am trying to install and to set up my new HP Officejet 7610 full-size all-in-one.   I have a 21.5 "new Imac I want to hang up.   I'm not planning to use fax or voice mail, just connect to my computer.    I use the scanner and printing of formatted text and pictures and the leaves of large pages.   I use this as a personal printer in my house.   I am connected to my Imac by ADSL via an external modem to the telephone company.   I would like to know how to plug my connections and if I still need to use a DSL filter and a parallel splitter.   What I must have the fax job or can it be turned off.    I'm not as tech savvy as I have always used a very old Mac til now, and more I'm getting too old to understand this myself.   Appreciate any help.

• ID CS5.5 Mac - transparency printing problems custom size 13 x 21

  I try to print a screen printing positive transparency. The document is 13 x 21. I have a roll of 13 extended transparency which I cut a 21 "piece. I print on an EPSON 1400.

  I can not get the output to this szie file. It cuts the image within 8.5 x 11 limit each time.

  I have:

  -set a custom size in the print dialog box

  -Click on Page Setup in the print dialog box and set the custom size here, ignoring the warning to the subject it is not not printing ID dialog box

  -l' Preview in the dialog box will look perfectly oriented to the right size in the small tile

  -J' have tried everything I can think of to try to get in sync and correct output formats

  -I went to the PDF to try, fail again

  Is there someone who can help with some step by step to a process that works?

  Wow! Sudden incidental finding on this incredibly frustrating issue.

  I had found information that the EPSON 1400 should be able to print 44 "long output by default. I was looking specifically for one to find people who had printed large and panoramic images and came across a photography website of the United Kingdom where a person mentioned that he had written a software that would allow this printer print beyond 44 ". That sounded a lot.

  BUT, the last post on the thread of a guy says how he was able to print up to 44 '' for an EPSON 1400 with ease. The solution, said, was that the WIDTH of the print in the page layout area must be LOWER at 13 ". Why? No explanation.

  So I reset my size custom at 12.5x21 inches and BAM! First attempt to InDesign printed successfully. I can work with the margin.

  Anyway, in the case that everyone runs into this problem, it works. Here is a link to the post of 2009 that mentions this as info about printing more than 44 ".

Then I talked to Mac and they told me to ask if adobe has a compatible version for OS Sierra... went back to adobe they gave me icon apple steps - system preferences - security and privacy - blocking - click on download from anywhere - unlock - it did not work and they said the problem is that I use a beta version of the software (Sierra) that's why the error shows and that the solution should have said fixed operating system has not been started and is not tried and tested...   Hi, I think I might have a solution, I'm busy now installing CS5 premium on a new installation of sierra, but will let you know if there are problems! I had the same problems as Britz00, very frustrating!

  After I had run the patch to allow 3rd party applications will be installed, (in a terminal such as suggested by K Perkins) instead of a double click on the installer in the terminal I dragged the exec 'install '. by opening a Terminal window and which seemed to work? (open the "Adobe CS5 Design premium Installer", then right click on the 'install' folder and click on "view the contents of the package in the menu drop-down down that pop-up, then double-click the"content"folder, then double-click the"MacOS"folder.")   The problem is that CS5 is out before OSX is enhanced security setting. It causes this misleading error because it is not "signed" as a trusted application and therefore is blocked.

  You must go to your security & privacy in the Apple system preferences and set it Anywhere temporarily before opening the DMG, installation and update. After that is finished, set it to the Mac App Store and identified developers.

  This is the user to user forums.  No one here can answer that Adobe could have told you.  Most anyone here can tell you that if you ask to switch platforms from Windows to Mac for any products in CS5 that you are out of luck with regard to obtaining Adobe to support that desire.  The license that you have purchased is valid for a Windows installation.  You can download and install a Mac version of the software, but your license/serial number will not work with it.  Only, they provide swaps of platform for the most recent version products, including four years or ago was CS6 (I suspect they'll release this option in the future at some point as well).  If you want to acquire a license for a version of CS5 Mac, then you will have to go around and find someone who sells.  Another option would be to try to use a Windows on Mac emulator, you can install a version of Windows.

  As far as Lightroom will, for this license must be valid for each platform, but the software itself could have problems with a new operating system.

  I have recently updated from a Mac Mini in an iMac (Intel Quad Core i5/3.1 GHz, AMD Radeon HD 6970 m 1 GB, 16 GB RAM) running El Capitan and the iMac crashes frequently. Department of repair of the retailer tested the iMac and it works fine except when InDesign, Photoshop and Bridge is running. Are there specific Mac requirements, I should seek reliability using Creative Suite 5.5, iMac or Mac Mini? When I created the iMac, I downloaded all the software Adobe still instead of copying the Mac mini (late 2012, i7/2.3 GHz, Intel HD 4000 1536 MB). I have no problem using the El Capitan and CS 5.5 software on my Mac Mini and the iMac was crashing about once a day and always with at least an open CS program.

  You may have been lucky on your Mac Mini with CS5.5 and El Capitan, but most of the InDesign users have problems with her or CS6. We get a lot of questions about it on the forum of InDesign. They are not compatible, and these old vesion will never be updated.

  If by 'pc', you mean a Windows machine, so no, your license is only good for one installation of Windows.  To install on a Mac, you must install a Windows emulator (know nothing good that attempts)
