OMNM partial config updates

Is it possible to push a partial update of config for all devices within the OMNM? I would like to add a line to each device without impact on the different configs on all devices. Is this possible as part of the application?

Looking through the OMNM user guide, I think page 397 may have the solution you are looking for. It covers changes to config deployment, including deployment to multiple devices.

You must set the locks of partial update on exactly the input files that you reference in your diagram of partial_pipeline.epx - at least, and each of those required (if you have several, and some are optional)

Out of the box, the load_partial_test_data script sets the flags for adds.txt.gz, updates.txt.gz and deletes.txt.gz.  Modify the load_partial_test_data script to see how it is set this flag.  Then swap out the files that it references to those of your partial pipeline made reference.  For example, replace

    "${WORKING_DIR} / set_partial_data_ready_flag.sh" my-test - file.txt

Once you do this, run the partial_update script should work just fine.

    Hello

We have two switches in the lab and try to play with OMNM however I'm unable to the discovery process. Default SNMP seems successful but telnet/ssh or ssh2 works. Any help would be much appreciated...

Depends on the type of connection I get different error.

  • Windows 7 update fails

Sunday February 13, my computer has a virus that forced my restore my c: drive and was working on getting all my things to the way they were, so I had windows, updates requiring a stop down and wait 50 updates installed, then restarted. In he got for the updates configuration its said "config updates do not turn off", but he remained at 0% and then after that all 7mins he says has no market update changes back, so I tried again same result. Tried some things here, no change. I don't mind not so much, but its cause my netbook to run Abu 1/3 of its normal capacity.

    Hello

    1. are you able to start the computer normally on the desktop after the updates cannot be installed?

You can try the methods below to resolve this issue.

    Method 1:

I suggest that you run Windows Update issues which will automatically diagnose and fix problems related to Windows. Here is a link you can follow and which will give you information about this:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Update-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

I suggest you consult cannot install updates. I suggest you view update history.

    a. go to the Windows Update Control Panel window. (Click the Start button, click all programs and then click Windows Update).

    (b) in the left pane, click Find updates. You can review or select available updates before installing them.

You can check the updates that have failed to install on your computer.

  • Updates won 29 of 41...

My hp mini 311 runnign WWindows7, just run live update when I was out of the room.  When I arrived in the screen says "do not turn off or unplug your mechine.»  29 41 updated installation... "Now, this same screen showed for about 3 hours.

What is the cause? and how to fix it without lossing all on the disc?

    Thank you

Now, this same screen showed for about 3 hours.

After 3 hours, it is unlikely to make a further progress, so I suggest you turn off the power. On most computer modelsyou can do this by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

In theory, at least, Windows should be able to recover from any partially installed updates when it starts again.

  • Windows 7 won't find updates after installing SP1

I recently had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall Windows 7 Pro from the CD. The installation went well not spent, no errors, so I started the process to reinstall all updates. This process went so smoothly up to the installation of SP1. Once SP1 has been reinstalled, I tried to search for updates more (knowing full well there should be more since SP1 was released years ago). But the Windows Update 'search' for updates for hours without saying whether or not more updates are available. Usually, it takes a few moments for the Windows Update tool look up and see if it is or not updates available so I'm not sure what's going on here.

Thinking maybe something when reinstalling Windows 7 had been sloppy, I reformatted and reinstalled Windows 7 new. Same problem; Once SP1 is re-installed Windows Updater tool can't stop 'research' for updates. No code error doesn't pop up, the system works well, but I know there are several updates out there that need to be added.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello DaveRoPA,

    1. updating windows is stuck at 0%?

2 sometimes software security installed on the computer in conflict with the download and installation of updates on the computer. Try to turn it off

    3  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509997 <--- try="" and="" download="" this="" update="" for="" windows="" 7.="" this="" might="" help="" if="" none="" of="" these="">

    Difficulty of method 1:

Press Windows + R. This will get the run dialogue box. Here, type services.msc,

Now, he brings us to all services installed in Windows. These services are listed in alphabetical order. Scroll down and look for: Windows Update Service. Right-click on it and stop it.

Now go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and remove all of its contents. In fact, this is the folder where the downloaded installation files were stored. But because Windows update sucks, they sort of problem with the partially downloaded update files.

Return to services again (as mentioned at the beginning) and this time start the Windows Update Service, right-click on it and select start. Try to update Windows again. It should work this time. (You may have to restart your computer if)

    Hello

The package file, you are referring is not for the AIP-SSM-40, but for the AIP - SSC for the ASA 5505.  This is mentioned in the Release Notes here:

The IPS-SSC_5-K9-6.2-3-E4.pkg can only be used to upgrade AIP SSC5 sensors.

    http://www.Cisco.com/Web/software/282549758/38029/IPS-6_2-3-E4_readme.txt

If you try to upgrade the AIP-SSM-40, the latest version should be 4,0000 E4.  This is mentioned in Readme for 4,0000 E4 read:

    SUPPORTED PLATFORMS

The following IPS/IDS platforms are supported:
    - IPS 4240 Series Appliance Sensor
    - IPS 4255 Series Appliance Sensor
    - IPS 4260 Series Appliance Sensor
    - IPS 4270 Series Appliance Sensor
    - IDSM2 for Catalyst 6500
    - AIP SSM-10 for ASA 5500
    - AIP SSM-20 for ASA 5500
    - AIP SSM-40 for ASA 5500
    - AIM IPS for ISR Router
    - NME IPS for ISR Router

    http://www.cisco.com/web/software/282549709/35783/IPS-7_0-4-E4_readme.txt

The file you need for the upgrade is "IPS-K9-7.0-4-E4.pkg", which is available for download here:

  • UPDATE: link cfdiv to SWC have not multiple results

Sorry guys, it seems that my code was not displayed correctly on my original message and therefore not arises.

Please see below my question/problem. -Thanks!

    ---------------------------

    Hey guys,.

Something strange is happening. I'm using CF8 and I have multiple records in a table, and they all appear very well with a table in a query cfoutput = "foo". However, I use cfdiv instead of enjoy the partial-page updates.

So I lie my cfdiv to a cfc as well as when it is run, it displays only the first record. I had similar problems with the help of query cfoutput and divs in the past. Is there something about the div tags that don't allow not to display multiple results?

    Here is my code:

    < component cfinvoke = "services. PostService"method ="getPosts"returnvariable ="post">

    < name cfinvokeargument = "numberOfRows" value = "4" >

    < / cfinvoke >

    < cfoutput >

    < cfdiv bind = 'cfc:services. PostService.getPosts (4) ">"

    #post.description # < br / >

    < / cfdiv >

    < / cfoutput >

Here's my component in case you need to look at:

    < cfproperty output = "no" >

    < cffunction = access "getPosts" name = "remote" >

    < cfargument "numberOfRows" type = name = "numeric" required = "yes" >

    < cfset var getPosts = "" > "".

    "< cfinclude template ="... / dal/qry_getPosts.cfm ">"

    < cfreturn getPosts >

    < / cffunction >

    < / cfproperty >

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Thank you

    Chris

    Well, here's what I see.

You don't need to call the cfc at the beginning that your statement of bind is that invoking it for you and you don't need the #post.description # in the cfdiv.

    If you find yourself with

Second, this is never returned by the cfc in function appears in the cfdiv. To return a query will not work here, you must have your function to process the request and return the actual code html to display.

    I hope this helps.

Don't know if there are other settings of snmp that must be put in place or I missed something

    Thank you for your help

    Hello

Can you try to set up OMNM like this http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/network-switches/f/866/t/19535001.aspx

Set up two profiles of authentication in OMNM. ((1) SNMP v1/v2c and used the SNMP community string, I put on the Force 10 switch 2) Telnet/SSH using the switches telnet user ID, password and the password 'Enable' leaving him activate ID empty.

  • Windows 10 installs using bootcamp

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm at my wits end. First off I have a MBP mid 2015 with the i7 2.8, 16 GB ram, 1 TB SSD and so on. Ten days ago I performed regular updates in windows 10. When it has restarted, or attempted, restart failed and he was stuck in a loop, partially restart, partially install updates and then try to come back, close and so on.
After enough time, I simply deleted this partition and to install again. No matter what I do, I can't get windows to install 10. I downloaded windows 10 to 64-bit windows and saved ISO on my drive. Follow the directions in the training camp in the letter. When the system restarts in the windows installer, I follow the directions. In the screen that asks you the partition, I select the bootcamp partition, and then select format. No options are given, rather it works for a while then the NEXT one is available. I click on it I get an error saying that WINDOWS cannot NOT INSTALL, CHECK the FILES NEWSPAPERS INSTALLER or something like that. No error code is given.

I go back to a single partition and try again. This has been done several times. I delete the partition and let the Setup program create a new partition, no luck. I erase the entire disk and put a new clean copy of Mac OS x and try again, same thing. I update for SIERRA, same thing. No matter what I do, I can not setup to go. I even downloaded a second copy of windows and tried a new way of thinking of ISO there is a corrupt file, no luck. I called apple, some time passes, and they suggested that I should talk to the windows support.
So I chat with windows help. not 2 minutes they suggest in that I find a local computer at my expense to solve this problem.

So I hang up, call apple. We go through complete diagnosis and even once, I was informed to call windows.
Second attempt to windows and 1 minute they tell me to go buy a dedicated computer windows because they cannot support it. Has anyone seen this? Any help would be great.
Still, all worked well until this recent update of windows.

Thanks for your time and your suggestions.

Please post the name of the file Windows ISO and MD5sum.

The initial installation of Windows work used an older ISO, which is no longer available?

Wizard of BC used to remove the Windows installation, when it has been installed successfully?

How the drive was wiped out when you re-installed OS X?

Is there an external storage connected to the Mac when you tried to install?
