On all downloads, I get the message "this file contained a virus and was deleted.
As it is now I can't sava as a document, update an existing program or download a new program. What should I do?

I did all the steps in this entire thread and no solution (good ideas, but no solution). I believe that this error message "the file contains a virus' on all downloads came from a virus on a web page (this is what I saw in my case). When IE downloads a file, it shows he has a virus, but it's really not analyzed. I got this message even after I've completely removed McAfee and after I reinstalled completely IE10. 1. what anti-virus software do you use?
2. what web browser do you use?
If you use Internet Explore then you can try the methods provided.
This problem may occur if the downloaded file is not enabled in Internet Explorer or if antivirus software is blocking the download.
Method 1:
I suggest to activate the download of the file in Internet Explorer and check to see if it helps.a. close all Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer Windows that are currently open.
b. Open Internet Explorer by clicking Start, and then click Internet Explorer.
c. click the Tools button, then Internet Options.
d. click on the Security tab , click Internet, and then the custom level button.
e. scroll down to category of downloadsand the download of the file to Activatevalue.
f. click OKand then click Yes.
Now, try to download and check if that helps.

You can repair the associations used to readers. One of my fellow MVPS, Shawn (no relationship lol) has default binding settings in his site here:

When you open a version Premiere Pro cc2015 file that I created about 3 to 4 months ago I get one convert a project box pop up with the message "this project has been saved from a previous version of Adobe Premiere Pro and must be converted" select OK to continue and a box from "media location" will blink for about half a second then I get a black screen with only the Adobe menu drop down at the top. From this point of Premiere Pro jams up, none of the menu items work, I just get a windows error chimb when I try and try to choose something or even try to quit the program. I have to use Task Manager to close the program.
The file is without a doubt a CC2015 version, I even reinstalled CC2014 to check that he would not open the file as it was created in a later version.
I tried to open another file from the same era created about 4 weeks later, I received the same message but it converted and added a "_1" the file name.
I went back to some of the automatic backup of the original file versions and get the same result.
Any ideas?

I had this weird problem before. Ann was pointed in the right direction. Because Premiere Pro does no clicks (as you mentioned above), I suggest you to reset preferences and start over.
-Rename the folder Premiere Pro Old_Premiere Pro under Documents > Adobe.
Note: You will lose your customization and modification of keyboard shortcuts.
