  Hi, I want to create a user authenticated locally in UCS Manager with read-only permissions, but when I go to add the role of read-only user is not available for selection (it is grayed out).   It is activated by default.

  Don't assign it not all roles to your new user and they will automatically get the read-only.

• DeskJet 1010: Prints very light and apparently only in gray

  I use a deskjet 1010 with magnetic ink to print checks.  For some reason, it is only printing in very light gray.  I cleaned the print head, which did not work.   I then reinstalled the printer still does not work.  Help, please!  Thank you.

  I see that you have cleaned the print head, which did not work. There could be a problem with the ink cartridge, printing or distribution of ink system.

• Why only the gray in new documents?

  If I select a 'New' document in CS5, I find that I am only able to paint or fill out in black and white. It's new.

  In the Panel options for color, grayscale slider is checked and all other options are grayed out.

  How I remoove the tick next to the cursor of the greysacel and make the other options available for selection as usual. I would point out that if I open a previously openmed document all optios are available, it just seems to be new blank documents.

• Lightroom only display gray boxes?

  I looked around this issue, and the majority of the responses is window based and corrupt monitor profiles. I tried to change the profile to sRGB in the profiles, no difference. I am under Mac - OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 and will have these questions all of a sudden.

  All the images in the library are gray boxes. If I go to the develop module, the thumbnails on the bottom remain gray, but about 80% of the time, the image is displayed in the main screen. I get the icons of flags, develop settings, etc.

  Delete the cache of your preview. It could slow Lightroom for a while that it re - generates your insights, but it should solve the problem.

  Go in the same folder that contains your catalog file, delete the file whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Do not remove anything else.

• I only see gray thumbnails in library.

  I downloaded jusr Lightroom 3.  When you import files, all I get are grey thumbnails.  Data on the photos seem to be there.

  When I upgraded to Lr 3.2, I also had to update my video drivers.  I had some crashes and gray previews.  Adobe looked of the dumps to Microsoft error and suggested that I update my video drivers.

  and loaded a program undesirable av as well - if you talk about Thunderbird update then it would not have downloaded anything else.

  Perhaps mean you that another program has been updated.

  I get auto checks for updates for adobe, but I do not auto install, I tell it to ask me before installing.

• Windows Photo Viewer displays only the gray scale. No color.

  I am running Windows 7.  When I print a document on the web, it prints in color.  If print it by using the default program (Windows Photo Viewer) it prints in grayscale.  Have checked all the settings, but can't seem to find what is causing this problem.  I tried printing from other programs and I don't get color.

  when im on the web, I can't see or hear videos. an empty grey page and I see or hear anything!  Its driving me crazy and I need help!  What I need to run or install a program?  Is something not lit that I could check in my settings?

  Hello, sorry to post here, but I can't post in the Forum ID. click on "post message" deletes the text...  We are working on our first plugin for InDesign Server. We create Documents with boxes and placing graphics (in PDF format) in this field. The problem is: after you open the document in InDesign, we see just boxes grey and without pictures. The links in the document are ok and when we print, we see the images. In my opinion, the internal preview of graphics are not created. Printing uses the original file, and there we can see the image.  In the code, we create a rectangle with addRectangle() and place the image with the command place(). Is there anything else that we have to see the image in InDesign?  Thanks for all the ideas Klaus Friese

  IMIST show only the gray screen and it shows like its something but is downloding stay like that forever and does not work!

  Stop and then start holding command-r key in Recovery Mode. Then choose disk utility > first aid or disk utility > ERD if less bone 10.11. Let us know the results.

  The failure code short DST and Dst long failure code indicates usually that your computer's hard drive has failed or is about to fail. Please replace the hard drive with a similar unit to restore the functionality of your computer.
