Operating system (windows 7) not recognized by Dreamweaver

Hi all

I wanted to download Dreamweaver on Adobe site. My computer runs on Windows 7, which is listed as an acceptable operating system on the same Web page. However, when I click on "Download", I get an error saying that my operating system is not compatible with dreamweaver. I had this problem using the iron and Firefox as browser. Everyone recognizes this problem or know the solution?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Saveedrow,

Could you please download CC the link Office: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, sign in using your Adobe Id and try to download/install Dreamweaver. If still the same error then try download from direct link: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html.

    Hi Johanna,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you can not use the USB in Windows 7.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will definitely help you with this

    1. you get any error message?

2 have you tried using different USB ports?

    3. any other USB key works on the computer in question?

    4. do the USB works on any other computer?

5 have had any changes made to the computer before the show?

    Please follow the methods.

    Method 1:

Run the Microsoft fixit for the link.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

    Method 2:

As all devices have same also have USB device associated drivers. Appropriate sometimes drivers not detected after initial installation so reinstalling the drivers can fix the problems.

You can check after uninstalling and reinstalling USB drivers if you are able to connect. You can disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

    (a) click Startand then click Control Panel.

    (b) click system and Maintenance, click System, and then click Device Manager.

    (c) Note if the control panel is in Classic view, double-click Systemand then click on Device Manager.

    (d) If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    (e) in Device Manager, double-click to expand the "USB Bus controllers", right click on the controller host, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.

    (f) repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.

Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

We would be more than happy to help you if the steps above did not solve the problem.

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao! Hello

In this case, you can delete the partitions - as you have already removed the original operating system, you would not be able to create a set of recovery discs from the recovery Partition that you have lost the application Recovery Manager required to create, but you can always order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below.

    Order HP recovery disks.

If you ever need it, the HP_TOOLS partition can be re-created by downloading and installing the software on the link below.

I want to upgrade to a newer Windows operating system Windows Vista Home Pro 64-bit. What is the recommended procedure? I see that Windows 7 or 8, a free update to Windows 10 is offered. Should I buy 7 or 8 then you spend 10 or just buy 10?

    Hello

Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.

There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.

Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.

Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

Follow these steps before buy you and upgrade (new installation) of Windows 8.1.

    Microsoft sells more than 8/8.1.

    Try Amazon.com, etc.

Check if the manufacturer of your computer/laptop has Windows 8.1 drivers available for your model.

If this is not available, Windows 8.1 not install and work properly for you.

There is a lot of information in this first link from Microsoft:

Download and run the Windows Upgrade Assistant 8.1 of to see if your machine is compatible Windows 8.1 and read the update for Windows 8.1: FAQ here

Two operating systems;  Windows 7 Professional with an option of Windows 10.

As a Neolithic Windows, I'm comfortable with Win 7 like all my old XP applications have continued to work with Win 7.  Now I want to try to get around the current Win 10 operating system through experience to see what Win 10 offers me in every sense of the use practable. I don't want to lose the existing installation of Win7 which works well, I think to a new PC.

I need a route which can accommodate my learning needs.  I'm open to suggestions that might involve touchscreen options to win 10 OS while keeping the mouse driven navigation for Win 7 applications.  Clues on a postcard!

10 dual-boot Windows, you will need to buy retail (it's only free if you use it to replace Windows 7, not to start the long side).

So first, buy an installation Windows 10 CD/USB stick to your favorite tech store and install it as a dual-boot option.

You will find that there is no dichotomy of the 'touch' vs 'mouse' use Windows 10.  You can use the mouse as you do today in Windows 7: there is literally not a single instance of a hidden mouse-gesture-operated menu, you need to know the secret movement to activate (unlike Windows 8, Windows 10 has been designed so that a user of Windows 7 could jump in without any training).

I just bought a new pc running Windows 7.  Due to problems on my old pc operation
I no longer use it.  I copied the Microsoft Office 2003 from the old pc on a flash drive and
then copy the program on my new pc running windows 7.  When I try to open the program I get the following error message: "the operating system is currently not configured to run this application.  I'd like your help.

You cannot copy the program files and install it that way. You need to install MS Office 2003 on your new computer by using the installation CD. If you have more, then buy the version of Office 2010 (the latest version of Office) you want and install. If you do not want to buy Office, then you can use Office Web Apps free for very basic work or download/install the freeOpenOffice suite , which can read/write MS Office file formats. Hi, I have a laptop Lenovo G505. Windows 8 64-bit was preinstalled in it. Later, I upgraded to 8.1. Laptop is almost 9 months and still under warranty. Since a few days, built Lenovo solution Center alert this analysis of hardware detected failures in one or more devices. On suggestion of Lenovo, I ran hdtune pro app in my machine and it also detected 3 hard drive errors. As my machine is under warranty, Lenovo is ready to replace my hard drive with a new one. But they say that it is the responsibility of the customer to return the windows 8.1 operating system and install in the new drive and their liability is limited to the replacement of the hard disk only. Hello Mohan,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

I can of course understand the situation and will be happy to help with your query.

    Let me ask you;

    • You have the key product for Windows 8 or 8.1?

You can create an installation media (DVD/USB) for Windows 8.1 and re-install when you want. However, in order to create an installation media for Windows 8.1, you need the product key. If you don't have the product key for Windows 8.1, you can not create installation media.

You can create the installation media for Windows 8 by using the product key Windows 8 If you have. In this case, install you Windows 8 first and then go to Windows 8.1 through store.

As far as your paid apps (purchased by store) are concerned, you should be able to install them as soon as you sign in with the same Microsoft Account where apps were purchased.

You can see the steps indicated by Ronnie Vernon replied on 24 December2013, re - install paid apps.

You can follow the steps below to create installation media.

    1. Run the program Windows 8.1 configuration or installation of Windows 8 (depending on the availability of the product key for the specific operating system.
    2. When you are prompted to run or save the file, choose run

    3. When you are prompted to enter a product key, enter the 25-character product key, that you received when you purchased Windows 8.1 (or Windows 8).

    4. When you are prompted to install Windows 8.1 (or Windows 8), select install by creating media and then click Next.

    5. Select the type of media you want to use: either a Flash DRIVE or a DVD.

To create a USB flash drive

    1. Click on the USB flash drive.

    2. Plug the USB key into a USB port on your PC.

    3. When you are prompted, select the USB key that you want to use, and then click Next.

If you have files on the USB flash drive, it will remove them.

    To create a DVD

    1. Click on the ISO file , and then select the location where to save the ISO file.

    2. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD drive.

    3. Burn the ISO of the DVD file using Windows disc Image burner, or another program DVD burning.

Note: Ensure that the USB or DVD key that you use has nothing else stored on it and has a sufficient free space to download the Windows 8.1 Installer: about 2.3 GB for the 64-bit version.

You can also read the article below to create a USB stick recovery.

    Create a recovery USB disk

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

    Thank you.
