Opitarc T410 has - 7930: can't burn CD

Hello world

I have recently (2-3 weeks ago) bought a T410. The problem is that I can not burn CD or DVD. The drive model is produced by Sony NEC Optiarc A-7930 H .

I have tried various software. I use Windows 7 Professional 64bit. using the standard windows software for the fire CD, I get the error code: 0xC0AA0301

I tried to uninstall and install once more. But it did not help. There is also no firmware or driver update available.

Any help will be welcome.

Hello

Sorry for the late response. I called Lenovo in Poland support and they suggested using cd/dvd to another manufacturer. I was really surprised when I found that it worked. Later, if I remember I'll also post the version of the driver that I use. I remember that the firmware was 1.1.

Hope this helps someone in the future.

  • HP 15 Notebook PC: iTunes error 4450 - can't burn CDs

I bought this laptop 2 months ago. It has all the latest updates installed. I bought the laptop computer mainly to house all my files itunes, images and videos. I managed to transfer all the data to the laptop, but my first attempt to burn a CD from itunes, I got an "unknown error 4450.  I then tried burning the files manually on a drive using the Cyberlink burning software which is installed on the laptop and it also did not work.  It starts as it will burn the disc, runs for 30 seconds and then stops and opens drive poster "Audio CD - #0xEB020BED - an unknown error has been found.

Because I could not manually burn a cd, I suppose that the problem is in the laptop and is not iTunes.  It seems that something is wrong, but I don't know how to solve this problem.  Because the laptop is new, a system restore probably will not solve anything, especially if it's a failure of construction plant.  If I can't burn CDs on this unit, he was buying at all.

    Please notify.

For those seeking the resolution of a similar error, it was a setting in the default programs in the laptop. The WIndows Disk Image burner is by default to read mp4 files. Once I changed that, it works great now in iTunes and Power2Go.

    Hello

The error log doesn't provide very useful information.
According to this error log, the simulation was running OK, but the burning process has not been started.
In such cases, it is very difficult to say why it happens. Maybe the drive is damage and cannot calibrate the lens correctly or using media is not compatible.
Burning the process depands on the fields and the data that prefer to burn.
Data, CD, DVDs are encrypted and it s is not possible to burn and copy it.
In other cases, you can also try to burn media with low speed and not with 24 x.

But to sentence case you the reader has a malfunction and you need to replace ;(

  • Can't burn my CD using player USB superDrive

Hai, I just buy my USB Apple SuperDrive - MD564ZM/A and I discovered that I can't burn my CD at all.

He did not show the black n yellow logo color to my Mac Book Pro, what should I do?

I have been using Youtube, Google, but I can't find a solution.

    Hi Brenda,

Thank you for your participation in the communities of Support from Apple.

I see you have a new SuperDrive USB, but you can't burn CDs at all. What applications are you using to burn your discs?

If you burn the data files on a CD, you can use the method in OS X El Capitan: If you have problems burning discs:

If your Mac has a built-in optical drive, or if you connect an external DVD drive (for example, a SuperDrive Apple USB drive), you can burn files on CD and DVD to share your files with friends, move files between computers or create backup files. The disc burn you on your Mac is usable also on Windows and other types of computers.

    1. Insert a blank disc into the optical drive.

If you see a dialog box, click on the context menu, then choose open Finder. Select "Perform this action by default" If you want to open the Finder, whenever you insert a blank disc.

The disc appears on your desktop.

    2. Double-click the disc to open its window, and then drag the files and folders you want to burn on the window.

Alias , the files are placed in the window of the disk. The original files are not moved or deleted.

Note: If you want to burn the same files on multiple disks, using a burn folder.

    3. Organize and rename the files.

When the disc is burned, the items on the disc have the same names and places they have in the disc window. After the disc is burned, you can not change the items.

    4. Choose file > burn [disc], then follow the instructions.

The files that the aliases point to are burned on the disc. In addition, if the records that you add to the disc contains aliases, files those aliases point are also engraved on the disc.

You can also find some suggestions in OS X El Capitan: If you have problems burning discs.

    Sincerely.

  • Satellite A20-S103: can't burn CDs

    I use satellite A20-S103.
my laptop won't burn CD more!
This laptop uses a combo CDRw-DVD-ROM
It reads, but he's not burn CDs?
I looked in the tools and utilities cdrom. I saw a driver called DVDRAM. also I searched toshiba.com drivers latest. She also wrote driver DVDRAM here.

    What is the true driver?
What can I do to fix this?

    Hello

As far as I know, DVD player is automatically recognized by the operating system and you n t need to install any driver. Driver DVD-RAM is something else and it is not only the driver but the little tool too and must be installed if the unit has DVD - RAM drive.

If you can't burn CD the only thing you can do is to do some tests.
Try to remove the drive from Device Manager, and then restart the device. The reader will be recognized and installed automatically
Check if you have any success with the media from different manufacturers
    Try to clean the lens

If this does not help, I guess that your drive should be replaced.

    Good luck!

    Hello

I'm afraid you will have to make a trip: (m
Information about the burning process was very useful.
    This confirms my fears.
In my opinion there is not a lot to do and the drive needs to be replaced. There is a power calibration error. This happens if the lens can not calibrate correctly. If you use different media the lens must be calibrated every time before the combustion process will begin.

I think that you will need to contact the Toshiba ASP in your country

    Hello dogzbol,

I suggest that you run the CD burning, DVD and Blu ray discs convenience store which will automatically diagnose and solve common problems related to CD/DVD players.

    a. open the reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu ray discs store by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting.

    (b) in the left pane, click Show all and then click on reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu ray discs.

You can also follow the link below and run them the Fix - it will automatically correct problems associated with CD/DVD drive:

  • Pls help: using Windows DVD (& Vista Home Premium) - can I burn more than a 'slide show' on a single DVD disc?

I use DVD Maker (& Vista Home Premium).  Can I burn more than one slideshow on a single DVD disc?

I saved 3 different 'projects', each has 10-15 images.
When I use the screen 'Add items' to try and add these 3 different projects on my DVD I wind up just with a great slide show, which has 30-40 pictures in.
What I want on this DVD is a separate slide show for each of the 3 projects.
So can I implement a Menu of this DVD, which allows me to choose which of the 3 projects (slide shows) that I want to watch?
Can I do this?  If so, how?
    Thank you!!!

    It's a matter of time.

Save each project in the. Film WMV format. Then you can import
the three films in DVD Maker files and each of them will be a chapter...
This way, you will have a menu.

Once the DVD-video is encoded you cannot add additional files
    the DVD.

If you need information on how to save... validate your version of Movie Maker.

  • I can't burn a CD with Windows Media Player.

I can't burn a CD using Windows Media Player. I use a Sony CD - RW 700 MB and the latest version of Windows Media Player.  My computer recognizes it as a blank CD, I can create the playlist to burn and when I hit the button to burn, Windows goes through the motions of burn the disc, but when I re-read the disc, there's nothing there, it's always a blank disc.  The same thing happens with itunes.  I tried to use a blank Memorex CD - R disc, but my computer will not even recognize it.  I burned the disks before using Windows Media Player.    Help?

    Hello

Having too many CD/DVD programs can cause strange problems, especially if they're loading of parts of
themselves at the start because they will be competing for resources. This does not mean that this issue has been
caused by those, however, it's a possibility depending on which and how many you have installed.

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    After the foregoing:

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and the
correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

  • Can't burn a cd. The music is not recognized.

I can't burn an audio cd. The Player recognizes my blank cd, and it says I have 79:57 minutes to burn. But when I add music to the burn list, I always 79:57 free minutes. The music is in the burn list, but I can't start a burn because the music is not recognized. Can someone respond to this please?

I don't know what I did, but as soon as I played the music button "Start burn" is now available. I didn't understand why the music was not recognized in the burn list because yesterday I did the same thing and I had no problem, but knowing that everything is the same. The music was compatible and the burner has not been damaged, so I guess it was just a temporary system problem. Thanks for answer and sorry for wasting your time :)

  • can't burn the CD to iTunes 9.1 on Windows 7

I can't burn a CD from my library of iTunes songs.  When I try, I get a dialog box 'the drive to record not found '.  I also received a message that says "registry settings used by iTunes for the importers pilots and burning CDs and DVDs or missing (However, I can import songs into iTunes from a CD, but just can't burn it to a CD.).  Please reinstall iTunes.  When I run the Diagnostics CD Drive Test iTunes it says it's 'no disk in the lower filters, no disc in the upper filters '.  I am able to burn CDs with Windows Media Player, so I think the problem is with iTunes and not my computer.

I re-downloaded iTunes several times, but this has not cured the problem. Now I would try to uninstall iTunes and then reinstalling iTunes... but I'm afraid that I might lose all my itunes Store purchased music if I uninstall itunes.  Am I wrong?

    Help!  Thank you.

    John Healey

    Hey John,

GEAR licenses this is CD/DVD recording 'engine' for Apple computers for use in iTunes for Windows. This recording 'engine' is the code of the software which adds disk recording cababilities to their product.

If you encounter registration problems, they can be linked to drivers GEAR being damaged or improperly installed. You can download the latest drivers of VEHICLES or better yet, make sure they are installed correctly. The following control for Windows x 86 guide/list will help you determine if they are installed correctly. In the first test, make sure that C:\windows\system32\gearaspi.dll is in the Windows\System32 directory. Simply copy and paste the driver in the Windows\system32 directory.

To check that all drivers of GEARAspi is installed correctly please check the following points:

On 32-bit systems, make sure that:

    * C:\windows\system32\gearaspi.dll is located in the Windows\System32 directory
    * GearAspiWDM.sys is located in the Windows\System32\Drivers directory

On 64 - bit systems, verify that:

    * C:\windows\system32\gearaspi.dll (32-bit version) is in the Window\SysWOW64 directory
    * GEARAspi64.dll (64-bit version) is located in the Windows\System32 directory
    * GearAspiWDM.sys (64-bit version) is located in the Windows\System32\Drivers directory

    Next:

In the Device Manager (Manager button on the Hardware tab in the Start Menu |) Settings | Control Panel | System) double click on DVD/CD-ROM drive drives entry. Double click on one of the listed CD/DVD recorders and go to the tab drivers press the Details of drivers and make sure GEARAspiWDM.sys is listed in the driver files and the digital signer is Microsoft Windows hardware compatibility. On the Details tab, select the upper filters of class of the pull down and make sure that GEARAspiWDM is listed.

In system information (type msinfo32.exe in Start Menu |) Run...) Verify that there is an entry called gearaspiwdm in software environment. System drivers. The status of the driver should be OK, and it should be started.
