How can I solve it. Please guide me...
Thank you for your help and advice...
Take a look at the log of alerts? He could tell you about the type of the damaged object...
otherwise, run this query:

Reading excel data file in Oracle form data blocks
Hi all
I want to read the data from the excel file in the data block of the module of the form. There are many resources available that explain how to put the data in oracle forms in the excel sheet, but I can't find a single resource to achieve this functionality. Can someone please help me get around this problem. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
BilalBilal,.
There is little documentation available through My Oracle Support, which shows how to read an Excel file in a form, but you need a support contract with Oracle to access the document (how to read data from an EXCEL worksheet in a form using WebUtil Client_OLE2 [813535.1 ID]).I've seen this issue come up in the forum from time to time, so I wrote a small form demo which illustrates playback in Excel in a form. Discover forms: how to read an Excel file in a form. This demonstration uses the WebUtil library, so you must make sure have WebUtil correctly configured in the Forms Designer, as well as on your application server.
Hope this helps,

Hello
What can cause a block of data that is corrupted in the SYSAUX01. Data DBF file?
ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # ORA - 01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # 2, block # 98776))

What my options?
It is possible to use for the SYSAUX DBMS_REPAIR?Hello
This problem comes if
(1) you open your database from backup
(2) you restore your primary backup database. This problem is caused by
(1) that you have completed your table / index with the nologging option.Option you have
(1) check if you have the main database in place. If so rebuild the object with the logging option (the best option)
(2) If you do not have primary database and then check what is corrupt table or index. If index rebuild and table then more information would be necessary, and also, this does not guarantee that you would be able to recover.Concerning

Hi all
OraDB 11.2.0.1
Today, we just met this error in oue PROD db. It is the first time that we have achieved this.
My boss ask you what are the usual cause of this issue.Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # 5, block # 136230) ORA-01110: data file 5: 'C:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORAJVB7\DATATS01.DBF' ORA-26040: Data block was loaded using the NOLOGGING option
I just said, fluctuations in the power supply and the drive is already old and fragile.
It presents a valid explanation?
How do you handle this issue?
The FF is also acceptable?

Thank you very much

Thank you...I just thought that 11.2.0.1 is now the high-tech modern database and it has a utility to repair the damaged data. Something like fix DBMS exec (Corrupt block). And presto! corruption will be gone.
Why is that the process is still primitive :(Corruption would be gone on that the storage on which the Oracle block is sitting, would be free of him. If you have a defective material, can not expect Oracle to heal for you, right?

Thank youOK, so you're not do backups at all.
In other words, that your only option is to reload the database from the most recent export. This means that you going to LOSE data at the time of the last export, up to the current moment in time.
As others have said, I'll say it again: export is NOT a backup strategy valid! You must run in archivelog, backup your database regularly mode (using the RMAN backup) and backup and Save (once again, with RMAN) all archivelogs generated between backups!
But it is what it is. You have only export you took. So, you need to work with what you have. Given that corruption is file #1, which is the SYSTEM tablespace datafile, your only option is to drop and re-create the database, and then import your latest export.
When you have done this, and you have a working database once again, go back and set ŒUVRE a REAL STRATEGY of BACKUP! Use RMAN, place the database in archivelog mode. Do not hesitate!
Hope that helps,

ORA-01033: oracle initialization or shutdown in progress.
I had a 10g oraclexe facility and had some apex in development applications in one of my pc.
I had to format the hard drive for some reason, so what I did was saved simply to entire folders "app" and "oradata' in 'c:\oraclexe', on another hard drive.
Then in another pc I just installed oracle xe (even 10g version) and just replaced "app" and "oradata' of the new facility at the old backup of files. (after data)
I updated the host name in "c:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\NETWORK\ADMIN\listener.ora".
Then the database restarted.
I was able to connect to SYS as SYSDBA with the old password, but when I try to log in with the old user account.

Inserting data block to the SPOUT making varchar2 (150) column with currupted
Hi Chris,
We are facing a problem with the insertion of bulk data on the BEAK in a table
Insert data block to the SPOUT making varchar2 (150) column in a table with the corrupted values.
column of first row inserted correct, but the second line, columns in the new row as null
We had trace OIC just before the insertion, these values are correctly coming
But integration doesn't work properly
Could you suggest, what could be the problem, we use the OIC during the client/server connection, this problem is for a direct connection alsoIn general, please do not post questions forum for questions where you have already opened a SR. This translates simply by duplication of efforts and is unlikely to lead to a faster resolution. If the problem is serious or complex that you opened a SR, it is very likely that anyone in the forum (including me) will have an instant response and it will probably ask a lot of questions and do a lot of research that is already made by Oracle support.
Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation.

ORA-01033: Oracle initialization or current shudown
I can't connect to my Oracle 10g XE both browser and SQL database * more.
I get this error message every time I try: ORA-01033: Oracle initialization or current shudown.
I'm so confused, since I worked with it successfully yesterday and it's morning, I restored my system to yesterday in vain. I tried to stop the database in the start menu and got the prompt that the judgment was a success, I started the database in the start menu and got a prompt of commands that start was successful, but when I try to go to the Home Page of the database in the same start menu , Internet Explorer can not display the page and SQL * Plus will return the above error.
What can I do for any emergency connect to this database? The easy solution is to unsintall Oracle XE and reinstall XE, but after checking with a Windows tool that your drive is OK: you will lose all data.
The difficult is trying to recreate the control with the procedure files manually to adapt to your database of the XE:
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B19306_01/backup.102/b14191/osrecov.htm#i1011110. You shouldn't lose all data if the disk is OK and if no other database file is corrupted. If you have not added or moved or deleted a file of database
and if you use the Western character set
and if you have installed Oracle XE on C:\
then the following script is OK.You must run with:
c:\> sqlplus / as sysdba

Regarding the authorized request property if the data block is the database no.
I'm now a project located on Oracle Forms 10g.
There is a DataBlock with certain properties such as
1 block of data in the databases: No.
2 query allowed: Yes
3 interrogate the Data Source Type: table
4 insert authorized: Yes
5 update allowed: Yes
6. Remove allowed: YesIf the DataBlock is not database data block are then properties no. 2 to 6 relevent?
I think these properties must be set to NO and the query data Source Type must be None.
Can someone help me please.Yes... The block of database property must be "NO"... I made the mistake of typo... You can also change other properties... No problem in that

The source database has not being upgraded, if this isn't a problem with the upgrade.
can give any output as to how this problem can be solved?
Thank you
First: DUPLICATE is NOT restore!
Second: If a database hits ORA-1092.
There will be errors in the alerts log.
Before even this announcement, you should examine the error online and browsed the alert.
Troubleshooting is any dumping using ctrl-c/ctrl-v and sitting with your shoes on your desk and your hands behind your head to whistle and wait for replies to come.

The values for the items in the list of the other data blocks appear not when running.
Hello
I have a new problem again.
I'm a new form in which there is about 8 blocks. All blocks have their tables in the oracle database.
Each block has 18 columns with the same column and the column names. But the values in these columns are different and do not match.
The problem is while I sign the form, it fills only the first data block. Other blocks do not display or fill in the values.
I can't create a master relationship because all column values are different.
How show or fill in the values of all the tables?
Please help me. Thank you.
Hello
If your form has really separated tables, then you can simply use a trigger key-exeqry at the level of forms of travel in each block in turn and perform a built-in query execute, eventually returned the starting block.
That is to say
go_block('..');
execute_query;
go_block('..');
execute_query;
