  Thanks for reporting this. I agree that the error message returned by the driver is very unclear and fails to a user of the API provide enough information to determine the cause of the error in the code. In addition, it seems that we don't document the correct order of operations to set up a task well (the best thing we could find was the subject of tasks in NOR-DAQmx , who actually seems to imply that the channel configuration and their calendar can be made in any order). We are producing several bug reports, to fix / improve the following:

  • The error message returned by the driver to the API.
  
  
  • The help topic for the tasks in NOR-DAQmx.
  
  
  • The documentation of the specific method provided with the NOR-DAQmx .NET API.

  To clarify the error, it seems that 'peripheral' in ' specified operation cannot be performed when no device in the task "is in fact reference to the channels configured in the task. At this point, I'm not sure what "device" can be applied to other entities in the DAQmx driver software, but I'll post at the time where I have an error message created by the development team working on it.

  I write a task in NiDaqmx read 8 thermocouples 2 9222 or 4 thermocouples of a NI 9223 modules. Under Source of CCM I entered the channel and specified a type K thermocouple connected to a NI 9219. All modules are located in the same chassis of cDAQ9178.

  I get the above error.

  I add the CJC channel and he complains that I have double readings of the same channel in one of the tasks.

  I watched your program and compared it with mine. Tried to channel the CJC as Temperature_12 but all local channels are grayed out. BUT I moved Temperature_12 the command to the top you and Voila! He is available for selection. I put all 9222 s and 9223 channels at points to Temperature_12, and it saved without error.

  I have configure the broker with admin of a domain for each domain 3 when I deploy it. Che pool 2 field is create successfully without error, but in the last pool I have this error:

  I have check the domain admin profile and name resolution on the broker and the vcenter, without error.

  In the vmware site, I can't find the 2147016689 error code.

• SRM 5.5 - vSphere replication - error: impossible to reverse the replication for the Virtual Machine. A snapshot operation cannot be performed

  Hi all, we have just run a test DR failover of a couple of virtual machines in our protected our failover site and all site swung perfectly, two virtual machines came online and all applications work well. However when we cam to r-eprotect machines virtual, we get some errors.

  One of the virtual machines seems to have lived the reprotect end process, it is still running, but has not moved to 89% for some time. The virtual machine has a couple of grand (a little less than 2 TB) VMDK. slow progress is just a consequence of the large VMDK?

  More worrisome is the virtual machine which don't reprotect at all. It generates an error whenever I click on the "Restore" button (error: impossible to reverse the replication for the Virtual Machine.) A snapshot operation can not be performed).

  
  Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause?

  Finally got to the bottom of this. The issue was that reprotect SRM work was trying to dispel any snapshots that were taken on the computer object virtual destination in VMWare, but could not clean snapshots.

  The reason why snapshots would not consolidate was because it was snapshots of temporary VEEAM who in fact any snapshot file listed in the VSAN data store. So when we looked through the browser data store, no snapshot file existed in the virtual computers folder. Trying a manual removal also failed.

  To fix this, we created a snapshot of the virtual machine in the original data center (note is the engine to the bottom of the virtual machine), this effect was to get rid of the 'fade' snapshot that was visible in the Snapshot Manager that VEEAM backup had left behind. Once this had disappeared, the reprotect back to DCA worked perfectly.

  I'm on Win7 64-bit SP1. I have 4 drives hard 1 TB, with a set-aside for the backup only warnings. My backup settings are my drive Local C and My Documents, music, pictures and video libraries, with a System Image.

  I had nothing else problems with Win 7 back-up since I got this PC several years ago. Every time I solve a problem is only a matter of time before something of another b * # * rs it upwards again. My last problem is the above. I spend several hours waiting for him back up only to be told at the end that he did so successfully because of a user mapped section open! I try to re - start but wait so much time for the backup to give me the same error message. How the hell can I even know what that user mapping file? Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

  If problem persists and that you are able to connect to your computer then I suggest you to check the system files are they work very well or not and to check who are trying to run the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

  I work with a certain application that requires a SHIFT CAPS LOCK be on.  It's a pain constantly turn off it when I switch to other Microsoft applications (Excel or Outlook) and then it switch on when I switch back to the demand for my work.  Is it possible that I can have Windows 7 manage this for me?
