  Thanks for reporting this. I agree that the error message returned by the driver is very unclear and fails to a user of the API provide enough information to determine the cause of the error in the code. In addition, it seems that we don't document the correct order of operations to set up a task well (the best thing we could find was the subject of tasks in NOR-DAQmx , who actually seems to imply that the channel configuration and their calendar can be made in any order).   To clarify the error, it seems that 'peripheral' in ' specified operation cannot be performed when no device in the task "is in fact reference to the channels configured in the task. At this point, I'm not sure what "device" can be applied to other entities in the DAQmx driver software, but I'll post at the time where I have an error message created by the development team working on it.

  I'm just trying to test the new 4.1 installed so as a virtual machine and now trying to join the ESXi announcement, I get the following error: "error in Active Directory Operations.

  Also when I try to join the ESXi using the DC IP it says the domain name contains invalid characters quite confusing...?

  Also, I checked the Date and time as well as DNS and routing config.

  Everything seems fine but still does not work.

  Any help is welcome.

  Ran into the same issue this week. Support and after an hour we arrived anywhere. So, I continued to try different settings and finally found my way in.

  In my case, I was using my own account and I had kerberos authentication or by neutralising, so make sure that the account you are using is a domain administrator (a permission to join/create the computers in the domain) and is not or by neutralising prior authentication.

  The other question was about the domain name and user name. For the domain use the domain (mydomain.lcl) FULL name. To user your account , do not use the mydomain\youraccount format. Even though I read that you can enter it like that, he did does NOT for me.

  What 3 things fixed my problem. Now, all of my guests are on the field.

  Yes you are right,

  but I would suggest to stop the services first before you do the activity, it can take the old password in a few times and lock the conduit to account

  2. once the password is updated, make sure that the login account is updated (is currently running services on the specified user account or local account?)

  If it runs using the specified account, you will need to updated and restart the services.

  3. make sure that the services are running fine and observe for a while, the user account must not get locked.
