  I just formatted my C drive and put XP SP3 on it... After installing all the xp drivers available online... I can't always get all the drivers for the machine. I checked in the DEVICE MANAGER... and in the OTHER DEVICES section... it showed 3 DEVICES BASE SYSTEM with the question mark next to IT... could someone enlighten me on what it is and how or where to get the driver appropriate to remove... the system works always well with her he... he really boring does knowing that he always there...

• HP windows 7 upgraded M7-1015dx 8 windows now missing 1 drivers in other devices.

  I recently bought a HP m7-1015dx with windows 7 and high leveled for windows 8. After that cleaning installed, I got notification that wanted me two drivers in other devices in Device Manager. The first pilot, I was able to patch from a link on a blog with this specific missing driver. The second pilot missing under other devices is 'PCI Driver' on 2 Bus PCI. Under properties for this device, it reads "device PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_5229 & SUBSYS_522910EC & REV_01\4 & 37c85ff0 & 0 & 00E1 was configured. I tried to update this specific device for a driver, but no luck any ideas?

  You need to go to each Device Manager and right click > properties > details > use the pull down to find the hardware ID and Google them.  You can take the results for HP to find the correct drivers

  It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have. You can check http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com and go to download drivers. You can find it under Support & downloads. Choose your model of laptop and check whether there is a proper driver for your device.

  These yellow exclamation points mean the Win XP drivers are missing.

  -Control Ethernet-LAN or Wlan driver > is required
  -Video controller-> graphics card driver is needed
  -audio device-> sound driver is needed

  But listen buddy;
  You must install the Win XP drivers, you must Win XP SP3 because this package contains hotfixes and updates.
  So before install you audio driver, you need to install SP3!

  After having rebuilt the laptop above with the new motherboard and the hard disk, I loaded a new copy of Vista using an ISO Setup disk and my COST. Everything seems perfectly.

  Try the driver wifi directly from Intel.  You want the driver of first or second in service if you're running Vista 32 or 64 bit. Then download and install the first driver on a Web page.  You don't need the software if you let Windows manage wireless connections.

• HP Elitebook 8570W: driver problem: other devices - device base system and unknown device.

  Hi guys,.

  After doing a clean update on my HP elitebook 8570W I had a few unknown devices in my device manager.

  The first is a device called "base system" in PCI Slot 2 (bus PCI 36, device 0, function 1). I tried everything in my ability to determine what is this device and what drivers to install, so far without success.

  In the same section. other devices, there is another unknown device on PCI Express Root complex that gives me the same headache.

  I hope you guys can help me understand this.

  The base system device is certainly the JMicron card reader needs the driver, not the alcor one.

  If the driver above does not installing it automatically, try to install manually.

  To manually install the driver, go to Device Manager, click the Base system device.

  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.   Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

  The file is located in C:\SWSetup\sp63637

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see the driver installs like that.

  Hi all

  I'm trying to fix a WAYBACK test system - running windows 3.11 with CVI talk to a box of 1261 B VXI Racal. Everything was fine until a VXI power capacitor has failed.  Astronics got the p/s fixed in a few weeks, but nothing has worked right since.

  Common symptoms are without note errors on VXI diagnostics display, but when the CVI application tries to start up we get the error message fatal "error in library VXI init. Impossible for kernel init device drivers. »

  I think that the message indicates a failure of communication between the communication MXI, one in the PC and the other cards in the VXI.  We tested both cards in another system and they work fine.  RESMAN does not Windows run and I have a DOS version to try.

  Someone at - he a clue as to what means the error message or what could cause this problem?  I drive 500 miles from Pittsburgh PA to Rochester NY Sunday to get their hands on this machine again and sure could use some help...

  WELL THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED, IF NOT UNDERSTOOD - AT THE SUGGESTION OF THE SELLER, WE REINSTALLED THE DRIVERS VXI KIT.  HE TOOK SOME PLAYING WITH THE UTILITIES THAT WERE INCLUDED IN THE KIT, BUT THE THING SUDDENLY STARTED WORKING FINE.  I THINK THAT SOMETHING JUST NEED RESET AND THE RE - UP PILOT DID...

  Hello. I had a friend put the operating system windows 7 Home premium 64 bit on my computer hp laptop dv7-1260us. He had originally windows vista. Now, Miss me 3 basic systen drivers.  under 'other devices '.  All say bus PCI 8 under properties.  I don't know if I had a 64 or 32 bit operating system prior to this change.   After installing these drivers, you post "Hardware ID" Device Manager (just the text string) for all other devices missing or unknown as illustrated in the example below.

I downloaded the drivers more and tried to install two devices, but without success. I know from the description that these two are related to networking, the names are as follows

  One of these drivers I posted above will install the other device.

  I don't know which version must be installed even have the hardware ID. It says the same thing.  Intel Management Engine Interface.

  Another problem I have is that none of my other computers on my home network cannot read my D: drive.

  What I did was put in a SSD as C:, bought a caddy HHD & put the HHD which was C: in the caddy. The cd player out & put the HHD to this place. Other computers can see D:. D: is shared w/full rights.

  You just know what drivers to install devices.

  I do not think that HP has any software to monitor time CPU.

  I recommend to start a new post. Maybe in the laptop hardware section.
